>A complete asshole who drives away anyone who might care about him
>Self absorbed, elitist, and believes he's right on everything
>A failure because of his shitty personality

Yep, that's me

What's your point?

S P A C E

How so? Have you not seen very many films?
This. Is a film resonating with you supposed to be some form of valid critique? No, it's just a baseless statement on its own, akin to "fun" or "boring", and doesn't describe the work itself.

PUH, PUH, PUH, PUHLEASE MR. KENNEDY

Uh oh

Who said it's a valid critique? He just said it resonated with him, why are you pretending like he tried to make an objective statement about the film, you're lost in your discussion elitism my friend

Something a lot of people seem to miss is that Llewyn is still dealing with his partner's suicide. From the way people interact with him through the movie, it seems like he used to be easier to deal with. He was probably always kind of an asshole, but Mike's death and the blow his career took on top of all grieving probably made his behavior a lot worse.

What did the cat represent? Also how the fuck did it get home?

What is the point of making a thread when you offer no valid discussion yourself? OP has offered nothing; you garner nothing about the film itself by reading his post.

Movie was shitty and boring
.

solipsism and the unobtainable. It symbolized what he was looking for (a hit song, a career, a reason for being)

but when he found it it turned to be a false mirror image emasculation of what he wanted (he became forgotten, a loser, a has-been).

Prove it. I expect no less than 250 words.

whoa cracka!

you honestly expect me to reply

all those words
for you

the album had a crutch on good music that happened to be in the film. The actual film itself next to nothing happens

The cat was Llewyn's self respect

>unironically thinks "nothing happens"
spotted the pleb.

come back when you start watching films for adults.

>That scene where he could go and find his child and decides not to
>He leaves the cat too

I would have done the exact same thing. Fuck.

a bunch a bullshit know one really cares about happens, sure

Why would you want to be him?

Who is saying they want to be?

I wish they'd stop just rehashing the Death Star in these movies

It sucks that Oscar Isaac can't be a PSH any more because of Star Wars.
