Why does Star like getting cucked so much?

she is an intellectual
But she doesn't like it
Hey! I do value friendship, i just consider it another desire/goal. Having Star around would not be beneficial to most goals, including having other friends.
...
What kind of drunk would Star and Marco be?
So that's all there is to it about this show? shipping?
fucking dropped without even holding it
This
What ever happened to this comic? Was there ever any more pages added?
there's also cute
How can Mewnians even compete??
They can't
"As I write this, my husband's children are asleep in their room, Brian H. Kim's 'Waiting for Me' is on the stereo, and my husband is out on a date with a girl named Janna. It’s his second date this week; his fourth this month so far. If it goes like the others, he’ll come home in the middle of the night, crawl into bed beside me, and tell me all about how he and Janna had sex. I won’t explode with anger or seethe with resentment. I’ll tell him it’s a hot story and I’m glad he had fun. It’s hot because he’s excited, and I’m glad because I’m a cuckquean."

Do you really believe Starco won't be endgame?
No
Someone needs to make an edit of this with a picture of sad Star where Eddie Murphy is.
youtube.com
Nah. I want a everybody loses ending. But i know it won't happen.
Please be nice to our little cuckcake.
What endgame ship would piss you off the most?
I don't care if Star doesn't win the Marco Bowl, but if they pair her with anyone else, I'll explode in rage
At this point her only viable option aside from Marco is Janna
Anything with Janna. I just want her to go away.
Marco and Janna. While i like her character, Janna's behavior towards Marco is not exactly what i would call good. And i want it to be presented as such.
Tomco.
Post it.
WTf? did someone tried to insert a banana inside a bird? what a sick son of bitch.
fuck, thought the bird had a huge dick at first.
...
No, but according to the anons in these threads it is.
One character goes on a date in one episode and everyone here shits themselves.
>banana
I may not know exactly what vegetable that is but I can tell you that it's no banana
Not endgame, but Moon/Toffee as something that ever existed at all
Other than that, whatever.\
no, there are also some quality cartoonkino episodes.
If you want to see the best of what the show has to offer but hate cute girls, Ludo in the Wild is one of the greatest cartoon episodes of the decade.
It's like one of the Golden Age Looney Toons episodes
Janna x anyone from the current cast. She doesn't go with any of them. I sort of hope the crew will continue on the current path and amp up her obnoxiousness and she'll be single in the end
This is a great ship
Explain this, then.
Its almost like most of the people who watch this show are thirteen year old girls.
k
...
Star's clearly into Jarco.
source?
cute
This was before blood moon ball tho.
...
As you wish
Well yeah.
I just wish we could have more DEEP LORE talk than this cuck shit and whatever the fuck else.
this probably isn't the best place to ask, but i've seen people throwing the term 'kino' around a lot lately and i have no idea what it means, anyone care to fill me in? i tried googling it but that wasn't particularly helpful
it is called being a romantic
it's a meme
...
I want harem end.
its a Sup Forums meme to describe anything that is viewed as patrician rather than plebian.
Also Sup Forums is one of the worst boards
A dumb Sup Forums meme, used to refer to a movie that is supposed to be sophisticated or very artsty, sometimes "unironically". Generally now used as a suffix to some form of media/genre: like capekino etc.
If you use kino unironically in anything, I would think you are genuinely retarded.
Sup Forums meme
at it's heart, it's just a way to call something patrician, but 99% of the time, it's used sarcastically, so context is your guide to determining whether someone is actually calling something good or not
How many will be in Star's harem?
>racemixing
I love how Star is in the background.
Super late idiot here but I just realized Star saying "You underestimated me" and getting mad, from Banagic, also fits in with her calling herself "Star the Underestimated" based on her mother's view. Obviously people pointed out over a year ago that Star not wanting to be underestimated can be connected with her not wanting to be "saved" at the Blood Moon Ball, but it didn't hit me that that theme was continued in the second season.
They're doing a better job than I would've initially given them credit for at making nearly all the episodes feel cohesive, even though it's pretty likely they never had a strict plan for the series until comparatively recently.
Marco can handle monsters and a rambunctious blonde magical girl, but he can't handle DESIGNATED SHITTING STREETS.
Nice job.
>yfw at the end the one person who underestimated Star the most is herself
Why can't Star just walk up to them and start kissing them both?
What is this guy's connection to Toffee, if any?
He has the same arm missing, and is some kind of alligator monster, and both are villains for hire, but their voices and personalities are markedly different. At first I thought he was a cyborg-Toffee back from the dead but he was played too comically.
Sauce?!
Where she belongs!
the chance that he has anything to do with toffee is .000000657%
Of course he can handle poo in the loo, don't immigrants have to do that when crossing the border?
I think he was just a red herring.
Place another villainous-looking anthro lizard in the opening and fans will go nuts speculating on whether he's Toffee/connected to Toffee/a new villain, then kill him off in a dumb way as a joke.
Same with Mina appearing there too with conveniently-placed mud on her cheeks.
I realize that but his design is so uncannily similar, especially the arm
Do you guys think there is an entire alligator man race who hate the Mewnie kingdom?
>Marco saved star from being bonded to tom for eternity, but in the process bound him and star together
Did he do the right thing, Sup Forums?
Hmmm I don't get what you are saying. Yes, she feels like everyone understimates her, but she shows that feeling a lot of times. It's not like Star is good at hiding feelings...
...
Toffee isn't missing an arm
Fuck yea he did. I'd want to be bound to Star for eternity. I'm an INFP. Thats my ultimate fetish pretty much.
oh right, he regenerated it. But then in the explosion he could've been eviscerated in any number of ways, so it's likely that his newly generated arm was weaker than the rest of his flesh
he means when star blasted his arm off
His cousin.
They don't talk much.
You're trying way too hard to make a connection. He's the same species at most
But he was in Moon's tapestry fighting with Toffee, no?
I was just saying that Star's anger at being underestimated, which was probably just a dumb joke for that episode during production of the first season, was actually expanded on a bit in the second season by connecting it to the pressure placed on by her mother. Not saying those are the only times she's felt underestimated; just that it was cool the phrase was used specifically both times-- like feeling her mother underestimates her was what made her so mad at the phrase being used by Marco.
It just adds a neat layer to what otherwise is a really weak episode and makes the show seem more planned out than it probably was. Same with how some initially one-off spells used in the first season have recently been showing up again.
new Tom vs
She gets hurts more if the people she trusts is the one underestimating her.
Why is Star shown being so fucking creepy about this?
Fucking get over it.
was he? post it
Probably. In Ludo's childhood flashback we see a few other Ludo-type things.
kek
I really love the dumb flamboyantly gay version of them, fannypacks and all
not him but there is an alligator monster in the bottom right, so I think it's safe to assume that they are both from the same race and they are opposed to Mewnie
And then here's the Charlie version
good shit pencil user
All monsters seem to hate the Mewmans.
Ludo's army had an alligator monster in it but he probably had no connection to Toffee. That's not to say Toffee and Rasticore definitely have no connection; just that it's not a certainty they do either.
>I was just saying that Star's anger at being underestimated, which was probably just a dumb joke for that episode during production of the first season, was actually expanded on a bit in the second season by connecting it to the pressure placed on by her mother.
Considering the usual maturation themes of these shows and the premise of the show being her getting sent to earth because she's too irresponsible, it was probably going to be a major theme from the start
...
When will Ponyhead get a body so she can become Star's mount?
I don't have anything to do so Ill be taking requests
Thanks man
>It just adds a neat layer to what otherwise is a really weak episode and makes the show seem more planned out than it probably was. Same with how some initially one-off spells used in the first season have recently been showing up again.
Well yeah, that happens "all the time". Same with other shows like Gravity Falls, they make an episode, looks like there's story or canoncity whatsoever and at the last second of the episde, boom. (If you know what im saying).
No, I agree. I just mean I like that they used "underestimated" both times so that even that dumb filler episode feels more important now. I do feel that maturing/becoming more responsible are kind of different from overcoming others' views and expectations of you though.
It just seems pretty likely to me that whoever storyboarded that part (most of the people who worked on Banagic aren't with the show now) just thought it'd be funny to end it with a joke about Star getting mad (haha), because the first season had an excessive amount of hugging and apologizing at the ends of episodes and so that was kind of a twist. Then whoever wrote the "Star the Underestimated" line in season two had probably gone back to that episode and thought it'd work to use that specific word re: her feelings about Moon.
Speaking of, do you guys think Toffee will ever come back? He seemed way to underutilized despite his development and was killed off rather unceremoniously.
I know Ludo's only just on the rise as a serious threat but Toffee only came along halfway into season one and took over. Think they'd do it again?
A shoop
>the first season had an excessive amount of hugging
Well, you got your wish. No more, hugging and touching, only suffering now.
Guess I'm not being clear her. I know TV shows do that, but THIS show doesn't seem to have been written with much of a plan in mind until later (just look at the first season).
I meant I especially appreciate it here because, unlike Gravity Falls, I'm sure that episode wasn't written with the plan to return to that line later.
But someone on the second season crew retroactively made an episode I'm not a fan of a bit deeper, and I like that.
Anyone have quick links for the season 2 megas?
>Moon and toffee were lovers
>Star is her bastard daughter
>Her green side is actually her monster side
Was still up in the air earlier this season, but with two appearances now I think it's incredibly likely.
I think if he regenerates from the finger in Star's closet that'd be incredibly shit writing though. It makes Star too much of an idiot to further the plot (equivalent to if Storm the Castle ended with Toffee just asking Star to use the whispering spell for fun, Marco in no real danger, and her happily agreeing), and makes Glossaryck look useless because I believe he said something about that.
