What if cartoon writers listened to and implemented advice and criticism from Sup Forums?
I mean, apart from further sexualization of characters. What else would happen?

They'd probably get fired.
Don't quote me on this but I heard from somewhere they can't really do that because the person who had the idea could easily sue the company for stealing the idea or some shit. Not sure if entirely BS or not.
Social commentary mysteriously dissappears outside of the occasional tract on new conservative values.
Stories either focus on the same general set of characters as before or create an entirely new cast. There is no midway.
More action, lore, and depression.
Probably better aesthetics.
So a net gain, though it isn't all good. The world of fiction becomes a smaller place as all works seek to cater to one narrow base.
why would anyone listen and implement advice and criticism from Sup Forums?
its nuts
Alex Hirsch does (or did). I mean, he gave us NWMM as a token scrap of meat to the Padipper autists on here...and then insta-reconned it.
Things would become alot more like Sup Forums's subject matter.
...No. Really.
Manga magazines in particular can have popularity polls tied to the bigger series which editors can use as a basis to influence the writer with; Naruto's first tournament arc's outcome, aside from those absolutely strictly necessary for the plot, were determined by what character was more popular than the next. Akira Toriyama has mentioned numerous times in his DB/DBZ books how his editors got him to do more stuff based on their suggestions.
Basically if say the Big Two actually plumbed the depths of Sup Forums for criticism, it could turn into that. Whether in a 'good' way (these guys are talking about THIS character, so let's use them alot more to bring in the readers,) or a "bad way" (they're furious about this Character, or what This Character Did. KEEP doing that--they obviously are buying and ranting about it so they want to be angry.")
And even if it didn't, there are consistently threads on here about the morality of every character under the sun, complaints of this book or that character that contradict what the next person says about what went right/wrong with this comic, "characters who did nothing wrong" threads etc., etc. Sup Forums's a huge clusterfuck even when people seem united on hating Lisa Simpson or summat.
For every person who defends their points or makes a legit criticism, there's some guy who rants about SJWs or Jewish people or some shit, so to draw forth any helpful advice that are still based ultimately on opinons on a message board, you'd need and Infinity Gauntlet Powered filter.
The show would resemble a porno movie.
Even more sexualization of characters.
everything would turn to shit
Oh god no, it would just be underage characters fucking for 30 minutes every episode.
If cartoon writers listened to fans in general, not just Sup Forums, then it would be a horrible idea and they'd all get rightfully fired
What if cartoon writers didn't make anything until they came up with a good fully fleshed idea, instead of trying to get potential fans to make up some fanfiction level garbage for them to try and make a quick profit off of?
If anyone on Sup Forums actually had good ideas they'd be in the industry, not in the audience
>The Loud House written by Sup Forums
Adventure time is long gone, user.
BTW, back in 2012 before Gravity Falls was a thing, Alex came to Sup Forums saying he was developing this new cartoon about a boy and his sister having wacky adventures over summer vacation. Pretty damn lame until we gave him advice for all the mystery plots and whatnot.
Incest, oversexulization of little girls, orgies, it'd be great tbqh
Pics or it didn't happen
And then he turned around and shit on the very people who helped him.
Clyde would be killed off in 1-2 episodes tops.
