it's bleed from the background. When the lighting reflects the green of the green screen onto the character's face you get bleed which causes clipping. Whoever was doing this shot should've worked on adding another layer where the nose was masked off with something generated from a rotoscope.
You'd think with Lucas's perfectionism he would've caught and had them fix it, but this just screams short on deadlines and overworked staffed desu.
