ITT: Characters that did nothing wrong

he was reddit incarnate

Is murder wrong?

don't downvote me Daniel!

He manipulated an entire town into selling their livelihood, then beat an innocent man to death in a drunken rage.

true

...

>post character that did everything wrong
>say he did nothing wrong

every time. It was better when it was called Jean de Florette any way.

...

Eli was the one who manipulated everyone. Daniel was the only one who could see through him.

He just wanted love

Whole thing was a character study of a deplorable person. It shouldn't really work but it so does.

He made him recant his faith before sending him to hell.

...

>lost a war
he clearly did something wrong

...

>committed suicide
That's something wrong in my book.

Seriously, Eduardo sucked at his job, and by freezing the bank account without warning he showed he was willing to throw the whole company away over his hurt feelings. Why does everyone seem to forget that part of the movie? He cut off the funds at a crucial moment, just because he was upset that Sean Parker was finding better investors and making him look bad. Until that point, Mark was still defending him at every opportunity, despite his lack of worthwhile contribution past the initial investment.

Nobody could do what Eduardo did and expect NOT to get fired. If anything, he was in the wrong for pressuring Mark to overlook an unforgivable fuck-up just because "muh friendship."

Wrong. He's what Reddit wishes they were.

In the German military, it was considered honorable to commit suicide when you've lost and capture is inevitable. He told Paulus at Stalingrad to commit suicide to preserve the Sixth Army's honor. You might as well say Samurai are wrong too.
