I liked Baby Driver.

>main character in action movie series doesn't develop tinnitus after hearing gunshots and explosions often at a point blank range in an enclosed space
>main character in action movie series is 50-60 and has no repurcutions for all those times he got injured and the long time effects of it

I had it bad for a couple of weeks. Turns out my ears were impacted with wax. Shit makes you suicidal.

>main character is in a wreck, but appears to walk away unscathed
>actually develops severe whiplash within the next 24 hours that is still there 3 years later

The only thing I can tell you is that there is a good chance it will go away or at least become a thing that only bothers you part of the time. If you're not sleeping with a fan on you need to start now.

you could try this, results seem to vary:

Mate, it doesn't go away. I've had it since November when I went to my friend's shitty band practice and the stupid amps were turned too high.

I hope you sued.

>main character sneeds

you get used to it eventually, first few months with it was hell on earth but you just learn to accept it and then it does not bother you

You can get used to it, google that shit and find a good specialist doctor. Also it can go away even after years of having it. Made my life hell for a while, after that no impact at all.

>had it for a couple of years
>first year was hell, didn't sleep at all and honestly considered suicide
After that it got easier, now I sleep just fine and most of the time I don't even remember I have it. It helps that it's such a high pitched sound that it's like static.

Fun fact: It gets worse the older you get

Fuck, is this true? I can live with it as it's now, but if it ever get worse i don't know

I am learning to get used to it. The problem is I can't hear well like before so I constantly ask others to repeat what they say. On the bright side, I start to look at the people's face more when having a conversation

Keeeeeek

stem cell treatments are probably gonna become viable for tinnitus

are you crazy? those are dead babies we are talking about

I only get tinnitus in absolute dead silence
I just keep a fan running 24/7 and i havent noticed it in months

Maybe you are talking about dead babies but people with tinnitus can't hear you

I think they can culture them from your own tissue and I believe they developed a viable method, so it's just a matter of trials and entering the market

nice quints but if a tree in a forest falls and nobody hears it it makes a sound

quint means 5 you fuckin walnut!!! four is "quad"!!!

>EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

>tfw tinnitus for 11 years now

It's honestly not that bad once you get used to it. In that way I'm lucky I got it so young. Can't even remember what silence is like anymore.

>If you somehow got tinnitus as an infant you'd have gotten so used to it by now that you would think you didn't have tinnitus

...

>Had tinnitus for my entire life in both ears
>Barely notice it unless the room is silent
>When someone brings it up, I remember I have it and I can't stop hearing the ring for a few hours, then I forget about it again
>Don't really care
First-world problems

you dont have real tinnitus, everyone has a mild auditory buzz in complete silence

>MERELY AN AUDITORY BUZZ
Thanks for the diagnosis

hypochondriac idiot

try and stop thinking about it, your brain will learn to filter it out

I think I have wax or something in my ear. It's been clogged since like Friday morning. Should I go to the doctor or have someone look in it? Or wait it out?

youtube.com/watch?v=btu-FqDWSdY
Here have a brief reprieve lads. Don't listen to it for too long.

...

depends on what you did to fuck it up and if you just feel like a clog or actually have one

good luck. i have it from drinking. you can drink it away; but i wouldnt recommend it

what did you drink? bleach?
