Were the Americans and Brits in Inglorious Basterds actually supposed to be the bad guys?
I mean, that pub shooting scene where they killed that one father was pretty horrendous.

I've read that people cheered in theaters when hitler died to the bomb, just like the germans in the theater cheered for their propaganda film that was actually based on real events in universe.
