Looney Tunes by a large margin.
Looney Tunes easily

Looney Tunes and it is not even close
Looney Toons
looney toons
I realize I fucked up the second I hit send. Don't bother pointing it out.
>The virgin Disney shorts
>The Chad looney toons
Even pre jewed disney didnt hold up to the same quality as looney tunes
Looney tunes. They are timeless.
disney's shorts used to be kino
Looney tunes were actually funny. Hell, even modern looney tunes cartoons are funny
...
>there are billioyums of stars and we yumans need to explore them
>Looney toons
Disney didn't even bother. Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon spitroasted Mickey Mouse.
Literally the only good disney cartoons are the old Goofy how-to videos and the the ones with pissed off Donald Duck.
A damn reminder.
M-more??
Popeye
nightmare fuel
The unnecessary tail on Daffy here is really distracting. It's like they grafted donald's him ass on him.
based
tex avery is a real american hero
Above all, [Avery] steered the Warner Bros. house style away from Disney-esque sentimentality and made cartoons that appealed equally to adults, who appreciated Avery's speed, sarcasm, and irony, and to kids, who liked the nonstop action. Disney's "cute and cuddly" creatures, under Avery's guidance, were transformed into unflappable wits like Bugs Bunny, endearing buffoons like Porky Pig, or dazzling crazies like Daffy Duck. Even the classic fairy tale, a market that Disney had cornered, was appropriated by Avery, who made innocent heroines like Red Riding Hood into sexy jazz babes, more than a match for any Wolf. Avery also endeared himself to intellectuals by constantly breaking through the artifice of the cartoon, having characters leap out of the end credits, loudly object to the plot of the cartoon they were starring in, or speak directly to the audience
The early Disney shorts are better than anything Looney Tunes has came out with. Steamboat Willie is GOAT.
I don't remember them airing Disney shorts. Why is that? All they played was a shitty CGI cartoon called Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and live action sitcoms and a few cartoons that have nothing to do with Disney's branding.
because they knew
Is this the Cuphead final boss?
>tfw you see the youth shitting on the kikes in the comments
Disney was a crude approximation of the soul of a child. Looney Tunes was the actual soul.
looney tunes
but the new mickey mouse shorts are 10/10

That show was Hanna Barbera like Scooby Doo and Flintstones. Except Scooby Doo was plain awful.

Fuck you, Donald was based af.
Well I guess its a good thing Tom and Jerry weren't Looney Tunes, huh?
That's a tough one.
I almost want to say Daffy = Donald. The voice acting for Daffy is the best. But Donald's inner frustration is very relate-able.
They are too different to fairly compare them, Daffy is insane and can get easily frustrated, his comedy comes from the pranks he pulls on other people. Donald is 200% mad all the time, we laugh at the bad shit that happens to him (mainly caused by his own anger).
Both are great for different reasons.
This. This all day every day.
Fuck yes.
Goofy shorts > Looney Tunes shorts > Disney shorts
both had equally important amounts of influence upon the evolution of animation as an art form.
...
What makes Looney Tunes so much better?
Chuck Jones

Terry Toons
Wider spread of memorable characters: Bugs Daffy, Tweety Bird, Wile E. Coyote, Porky the Pig, everyone has a favorite.
Disney had Goofy and the Donald. Everything else was cringey bullshit. People only loved steamboat willy so much because there was honestly nothing like it at the time.
>sexy ballerina bugs bunny
what did they mean by this?
Merry melodies easily
>Bugs is canonically a crossdresser
just fuck my sexuality up
Disney, just on average they are better
Yes Mickey sucks but people choose to remember the good Looney Tunes and ignore all the shit ones which there are way more of with LT
>Pepe Le Pew
>Taz
>Slyvester and Tweety
>The mexican mouse
>The redneck chicken
All unfunny
Disney has less characters but the ones they have are general higher quality
censure the same with the old looney tunes shorts
I prefer disney. The characters in looney toons cartoons tend to come off as mean spirited bullies, and I dont like that.
wtf those guys are all classic except for maybe Taz
Foghorn leghorn getting into the chicken hawk argument is golden era looney toons
Looney Tunes by such a large margin that Disney might well not even exist.
Wrong. These:
>Pepe Le Pew
>Slyvester and Tweety
>The redneck chicken
Are great. The rest are alright.
Looney Tunes is much better, but MGM gives it a run for the money.
Funnily enough, I always hated Taz shorts, but Taz-mania was a criminally underrated show.
Donald Duck > Looney Tunes > The rest of Disney
>Hating Pepe and Taz
tf dude
The right choice
Pepe le Pew is maybe funny once, but every single short is just the same thing copy/pasted
Taz is never funny
Fuck off, Taz shorts are pure kino.
jesus fuck someone needs to make an popeye action game
they do make attempts at games with this looks(besides cuphead) but nobody fucking buys them
...
>one of the few Disney cartoons actually worth mentioning was the one where Donald Duck was a nazi
>Ruin it by making it all a dream instead of having Donald embrace the truth
How is this even a question?

>4444
Nice.
Those shorts were pretty good too.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
It looks far better than a lot of modern animation, how in the hell they managed this? Maybe the hand drawn meme isn't a meme at all
Generation Z should have been summarily aborted. Kys.
Together they're unstoppable.
youtube.com
wrong
Because they were made for theaters and the studio wanted them to look good. I think an animator for the early Disney shorts said that there was something like 1600 drawings for an average 6 minute-ish film.
