Season 3 had 1 (ONE) good episode

>season 3 had 1 (ONE) good episode
what happened?

more like 4 or 5

Women writers, we've been over this

>what happened?
feminism

The pickle rick episode was great

most episodes were actually quite good

Hahahaha he was a pickle

kys

please, except citadel episode it was all a shitshow, what other episodes did you like?

Pickle

Citadel
Vindicators
Rest and ricklaxtion
Whirly dirly
Maybe mindblowers

>my local AMC has been playing classic Disney movies all month, different one each week
>didn't go to any except the last one, Mulan, which just might be my favorite Disney movie
>love it
>talk to my friend the next day, he's the biggest Rick and Morty fan faggot ever but as long as you don't get him started on it he's fine
>he asks me if I did anything interesting over the weekend
>tell him "well I actually went to the AMC the other day, they were playing Mulan so I went to go see it. Have you ever seen it?"
Now this next part I need to make clear has not been exaggerated one bit. I get it, this is Sup Forums, people just want a laugh, so they'll dress up a greentext, get some (you)s, and move on. But I want you to know that what I'm about to say happened 100% as I describe it.
>the FIRST thing he says after hearing what I said is "heh heh... szechaun sauce..."
>he gets the biggest fucking grin on his face and starts laughing his ass off
>I say "Oh, go fuck yourself" and drive home
What could cause someone's fucking brain to function in this way. I am legit terrified that one fucking cartoon could rewrite someone's psyche so hard that just the mere mention of something tangentially related to one fucking joke can trigger the link back to the source material. Lemme break that down for you for a second
>I mention Mulan
>the thing that is NUMBER ONE, TOP OF THE LIST for him when he hears the word "Mulan" is the fucking sauce from rick and morty. Not any of the songs, not Disney, not even fucking China, the sauce. That is his IMMEDIATE response. For all intents and purposes, for him, it's as if the sauce called "Mulan" existed first in a Rick and Morty episode and then they made a Disney movie about it.

Your friend is a faggit but you are an autist about it.

Why did it seem like a lot of people didn't like Vindicators? I thought the end joke was great

I don't understand why the szechuan sauce is funny in the first place. I mean I get it. I just don't think it was funny. I have maybe 2 laugh out loud moments in Rick and Morty and that was not one of them.

you heard it had more women writers before you saw it.

This. Lows were worse than s1 lows, but high were the best episode of the series.

They could have actually delivered on any of the scenes in the OP

This is a good list.

Women and reddit pandering

Rickshank Rickdemption: Great

Rickmancing the Stone: One of the worst eps ever

Pickle Rick: Meh, below average

The Vindicators 3: Good, not great, but good

The Whirly Dirly conspiracy: Very good

Rest and Ricklaxation: Good

Tales From the Citadel: One of the best episode of the show, if not the best.

Morty's Mindblowers: Great episode, definitely in top 10 episodes of the show

ABC's of Beth: Pretty bad, some of the worst the show has done

The Rickchurian Mortydate: This one is new, so it hasn't had time to sit, but right now I felt that it was really out of place, like they were running out of ideas. A lot of the characters acted so out of character to force the plot that it almost felt intentional and the episode itself intentionally anti-climatic. I'm not going to say it was intentional, but I have my suspicions. As for the comedy, it was alright, a joke or two made chuckle.

>no evil morty at all in the season finale
You fucked up. Fuck this show
And beth is a clone btw

Is there any vore porn of that thing coming out of the portal?

>not enjoying the homage to narancia's aerosmith

Agree with this completely. I think the season in general would be viewed more favorably if Rickmancing the Stone wasn't one of the first episodes, it definitely left a bad taste in many people's mouths.

Nice list

Is R&M a show racist sexist beta white males cannot understand?

stop, it's not even good pasta

The third episode is about an interracial cuck and the fourth episode is about a planet where women are better than men. It has some subversive moments in the writing that almost make it worth watching but there is too much of this leftist shit in it. One moment I'm enjoying it and the next I feel disgusted for enjoying it.

>The third episode is about an interracial cuck
>being so dense that the obvious joke just flies over your that
It's literally you in the picture

>vindicators

Fucking kek. Nice meme. Get out

>they did it on purpose!
You retards say this about literally everything.

>Sup Forums claims to hate show
>makes 30 threads every time an episode airs
Every time

Why do you think so many people are weary of the reddit tourists? You r&m, got watching phone posting redditors are the ones making all the threads. Regular users know how to check the catalog for threads already up.

Yeah I sure love the writer inserting her beliefs into the counselor lady and forcing Rick and the viewers to listen to her bullshit.
Shit episode, not even the memes saved it.

> vindicators
> whirly dirly
> interdimensional cable bootleg

nice meme

STOP POSTING THIS SHIT

feels like zombie simpsons now

could you guys tell me what's wrong with rickmancing the stone? Because I think I'm the only person in the entire hemisphere who liked that episode. It wasn't great, but I liked the Mad Max universe, the Arm subplot and seeing the barbarians from the wasteland becoming fatter and lazier with technology. Still way superior to utter crap like vindicator, froopy land, or Rick wrestling Obama

I like your episode list but you're being very generous on some of them. Still, I feel very let down from this season, I was expecting something.. different

the literal definition of autism

stop samefagging

Better than my friends who are all pre-teen girls who chat on discord on their phones all day. Literally can't take a fucking break.

no one liked that faggot episode, get over it

>pre-teen girls

either you are too young for this site or too old to be hanging out with pre-teen girls user.

Women happened. Trying to do things men do better and failing miserably.

Women writers aren't all bad
Just the ones they chose which resulted in the show being ruined

So was Beth actually a confirmed clone at the end? Rick's face made me this so.

Name one good woman writer that isn't Mary Shelly

bumping this cause wanna know badly

>reddit and memey
it was always shit

>muh childbirth

mary shelly was shit

Frankenstein was pretty good.

Women wrote one of the two good episodes and men, including Harmon himself, wrote the worst ones
This season is is a big letdown, but that has nothing to do with gender of the writers, stop projecting your insecurities

until you realize its just an extended allegory for how women give birth to things stronger than they are

For Rick and Morty to be good it just has to be shocking and funny, without being too random or relying to heavily on references. And it's really hard to keep it up on tightly scheduled series-project. Same thing buried Community.

It already tackled most of the pressing moral issues and relevant sci-fi tropes in the first two seasons. You can only get so far with this premise until it becomes formulaic and subsequently boring.

I think they should either sit on the next season for a much longer time or just abondon it, but fans or execs won't allow it, so the show is destined to bury itself to the ground.

My biggest problem with the series is how it's not surprising anymore, here, I saw this comic today and it delievered more feelings I expect from this series than the whole 3rd season provided

no one has a guess? :/

It doesn't matter, they literally tell it to your face

Did they? I don't remember that at all

How does it feel to be this mentally challenged?

Not that good man.

I liked Black Trump, it was fun.

>Black Trump
what did he mean by this

The only good episode was the Citadel, next season we're only gonna get one evil morty episode and the rest's gonna fucking suck, fucking accept it. The show has a lot of potential but its audience is part of the reason why it's so underwhelming.

The only two episode are Tales from the citadel and Morty's mindblower
The rest was pure crap
But I aggree that Tales from the citadel was probably their best episode yet

Mad Max parodies are so tired out. I liked Rick and Morty when they actually did interesting shit and explored some neat sci-fi stuff.

>rick and morty is bad now that the female characters can have insight

based list, user

>Justin Roiland literally just has to sit in front of a mic and say whatever stupid fucking thing comes in to his head and there is a big enough group of people out there who will turn it into a meme
>or allow global fast food corporation McDonalds to start a new marketing campaign

she wasn't a clone

the writing has definitely gone down hill but the fight sequences this season have been really creative

I did

When Beth is telling him to leave when Rick is at the cabin, he doesn't say she's not a clone. Just 'you crazy bitch, you're my daughter'. Which leads me to believe that she is in fact a clone.

understandable

evil morty is going to kill beth and it turns out shes a clone
there i saved you the effort of season 4

Grow the fuck up

such good first episode of this season and such weak last one, shame

Vindicators fucking sucked tho

It had one great episodes and maybe 3 good ones, and maybe two bad ones and one that was the worst episode in the entire series (pickle rick)

>make clone of daughter

>don't either remove the memory of the clone conversation or have the clone and original meet and agree upon a course of action

This plotline was fucking stupid and existed only to make jerry's win easier. rick had a trump card to the clone panic (beth's memory of the cloning conversation) but doesn't use it because the plot necessitated him being temporarily stupid.

I've liked it a lot.

>I've conceived a child with million ants
>He died inside of me because he was half a million ants and half collapsing star
Funniest line of the season. The whole thing with the train guy getting cucked by million ants was hilarious.

Agreed but I thought Vindicators was slightly better than good. Apart from that, good taste user!

I liked it.

Tale From the Citadel felt so out of place in this season that it pisses me off. Felt like something from season 1 again.

which episodes were bad? they were all either good or ok. better than season 2 overall for sure.

Pure bullshit. There's nothing even remotely similar in the first season.

which episode was the one with Sneed's Feed and Seed?

I still haven't gotten over episode season 1 episode 6

what did you accomplish between season 2 and 3 Sup Forums?

>Las Vegas shooting
>Rick and Morty thread is slower than usual
>Almost no ones shitting on the show and calling it Reddit
Oh wow Sup Forums.

banged ur mum

>women writers

We call them “diversity hires”

banged ur mum

Agreed for the most part, except:
>The Whirly Dirly Conspiracy
The Beth/Summer/Morty subplot was insufferable and what happened to Ethan at the end just seemed like it was written by a spiteful woman. The Jerry/Rick bits were mostly just okay, not great.

Episode 1
Ricklantis Mixup
...
...
Last one had a few okay jokes I guess

>Literally every other episode revolves around ham-fisted emotional conflict that reads like a fan fiction written by women

It's like the show hired a bunch of writers that don't understand it and are interested only in having the characters talk about feelings

I don't hate Rick and Morty but something about this episode was really off.
>R&M having some feud against the president
>R&M making fun of the president for no reason
>Morty wasn't being a little bitch despite the circumstances
>Entire episode was about Rick one-upping the president for some reason
>Rick kills dozens of people for a selfie
It doesn't even feel like something you can blame on terrible writing, felt like things were weird intentionally.

Just for once bother to look at writers credits for each episode before spouting nonsense

First episode was also good.

Change vindicators to shit tier, slightly downgrade rest and ricklaxation, and call the finale for the fucking huge dump it was and you've got a decent list

copypasta from Sup Forums

This season was essentially like Principle and the Pauper for Rick and Morty. It punished the viewer for being invested in characters and just returned things to square one after a bunch of completely out of line shit.

>Season refers to Rick as a god, something that he openly denounces even to his own creations from other characters to hyperbolic his unfathomable character

>Season attempt to have character development but all that shit is hastely thrown out the window to return to square one

>Beth's need to be independence and need to discover herself that has been alluded to since Mr. Meeseeks is quelled in one episode of finding out that she is "smart" and much like her psychotic father, and with that she can move forward as her own "self"

>Morty's struggles with a lack of a proper male figure and the strife he has with his father negligence, incompetence, and lack of fortitude that was conveyed with Armothy is completely thrown out when Morty without much consideration decides to live and reunite with his family despite seeing how bad his parents are for eachother and why his dad is a shitty person

>Summer lives through her own trials Hemorrhage to see what rushed and undeveloped relationships are and how she needs mature herself, but this is thrown out the window in all subsequent episodes as she just acts like a bitchy and self-indulgent teenager, a mouthpiece for the writers agendas, and still is enabling her parents shitty marriage in the end despite her one episode of development where she should know better

>Jerry lives endless lifetimes and learns to stop being a fucking leech to better himself post-marriage, but then gets returned to square one 2 episodes later and now is back to being a piece of shit

[continued in next post]

such sentiments are speaking to how tales from the citadel was the only episode this season that felt novel or fresh in any way, shape, or form, and how every other episode was just useless reiterations of shit that had already been trodden flat in season 1 and 2.

Also every episode in season 3 was filled with total-game-changers that will never be used to change the game, and will never be mentioned ever again. Like how they establish there's a machine on an alien planet that would fix jerry/beth completely, but it will never be mentioned again.
