So, how many of you folks carry daily? Does the idea of carry concern folks in other countries?

So, how many of you folks carry daily? Does the idea of carry concern folks in other countries?

I used to have a carry license and basicly always carried as part of my job and private.
Sadly it ecpired and i cant renew it anymore

What was the job, out of curiosity?

Securety service, we mostly took care of embassies

No way to get it back? That sucks.

>unironically says folks
I like you, m8.
Not bad, not fucking bad.

Hah, thanks. Everybody says folks here in Chicago. Or at least they used to.

You have to need it for your job, and since i wont get back into the business anytime soon there is no (legal) way

Do they actually prosecute for illegal carry? I carried for close to a decade here before we won our court case and never had an issue.

You can get up to 10 years in jail, i know of people who do it nonetheless tho

I'm 25 and I carry daily. I work for an environmental non-profit and we work from inner cities to the sticks (read as middle of nowhere). My job doesn't allow it, however it's important because if something happens we have ZERO protection at the moment of occurrence. I usually work with around 10-40 people.

you should only have a gun if you need a gun

And this is why your country ended up this way

>Muhammad Ahmed Islam
The muslim version of Shlomo Shekelstein.

But are there regular prosecutions?

I work in a school and I'd never carry there. I absolutely do not own a small .380 as a back up piece or any deep concealment holsters for it. Shame on you, user...

Define "need?" Not trying to be aggressive, just curious as to what your standard would be. Would a clean background in a city with over 3000 shootings and 500 murders so far this year count?

I carry daily, Glock 43 in the summer, Glock20c in the winter. It sucks to carry when its hot outside. I wish I could carry my AR15 with me instead slung around my back.

I have a rape alarm

I saw a policeman with one once.
Maybe even twice.

Nobody here's ever seen a real gun so they're absolutely terrifying.

>bin that rape whistle

>So, how many of you folks carry daily?
Yes, as part of my job and as a private citizen.
> Does the idea of carry concern folks in other countries?
Fuck what other countries think. I don't care about them and they should stay out of our politics as well.

see:
>3000 shooting and 500 murders

But nah I'm sure UK has the same statistics

Fucking tell me about it. This summer was a beast, trying to figure out how to conceal anything when it was 90% humidity and 96 degrees.

Do you think you'd be less alarmed by them if you had more exposure? My super-liberal, anti-gun, old hippy of a mother has gotten into shooting after a couple of range trips.

Meanwhile in reality Switzerland, where you can carry a select fire rifle, is the safest nation on earth.
Also i have guns, im just not allowed to carry them

>Fuck what other countries think. I don't care about them and they should stay out of our politics as well.

That big dick attitude is all fine and dandy from a policy perspective, but I kinda like getting to understand what the other side thinks and why.

From time to time, not worth the trouble imo

They think that way because they are submissive. For millennia their continent was ruled by monarchs that had no concept of individual rights for the common people. In their minds only those who are in positions of authority should be given any responsibility or power because that is their culture.

The concept of owning arms for anything other than sport is anathema to a European. They have no will to overthrow those in power over them.

There is no other reason to not trust a responsible citizenry with arms.

South Dakota here. All it takes for a CCW permit here is $10, one page of general paperwork and a background check at the sheriff's office. You can stop back and pick it up a week later. I'm not kidding when I say that I know more people who conceal carry than who don't. Myself included, every day.

The British have a history of open revolt, the French have one more recent than ours. I agree that folks who don't trust citizens with arms have lost their way, but listening is free and I like understanding people.

Take a breath, man.

Don't you think that more exposure to guns in everyday life leads to less mental roadblocks for potential murderers? Elliot Rodger wrote a lot in his Manifesto about being at the shooting range and how wrong it felt to actually use a gun. If someone like him could be eased into it via a natural gun culture don't you think we would be better off in a society without guns?

Goddamn thats awesome! I spent sixteen hours in a class, close to four hours, and still waited 90 fucking days.

>you should only have a fire extinguisher if you have a fire

Nice logic bro. Can you teach me how to see into the future?

WA is $55 and a background check. That's about the only good thing about this state.

I get the argument. I guess my response is that I'm willing to accept the occasional Elliot Rodger in exchange for ready access to armed self defense. I know quite a few people who've used guns defensively, myself included, and I know of a whole lot more.

The bigger concern in the US isn't mass shooters, its gang bangers killing other gang bangers over gang banger shit.

Freest state in the union! Feels good.

>Does the idea of carry concern folks in other countries?

Nope, I'm all for it.

>Don't you think that more exposure to knives in everyday life leads to less mental roadblocks for potential murderers?
Are you retarded?

300,000,000 guns. The criminals will always have them, everyone else had better be on the same level as them.

You damn straight I carry.

Five seveN, S&W 360 PD, and Springfield XD

I live in a state with a lot of whites and not a lot of savages so I literally only carry a gun on my person when I'm going somewhere with a black population above 3 percent.

A FUCKING LEA.....!!!

Oh, ok never mind

A gun is an inanimate object made of steel, wood and plastic.
It is not an evil cursed object that creates evil men.
This has been tried to be linked along with violent video games and movies and it's all horse shit.

What's your gun with the flare launcher?

I actually got in several arguments with members of the Army over this (including UKSF) and I constantly see other Brits complaining about American gun rights. It makes me fucking ashamed of what this country has become. Be warned, America.

I don't carry much and prefer to wear the least clothing as possible. It's a freedom thing.

Didn't it used to be that if a policeman needed armed back up he could call on the citizenry? Now the police still don't have firearms and the neither do the people.

Ares Shrike. Belt and mag fed AR. Piston driven with quick change barrel

Yes. Posse commitstus is the law.

10 year LEO here

I do.
>Pic related

>Five SeveN
>using an unironic meme gun
Jesus christ, user.

Maybe he's constantly up against small game in body armor?

I would rather be caught with one than without one britbong

I carry most of the time except when I'm at work - Too uncomfortable to wear around while I'm working but There's always one in the desk.

You guys do know that there are better ways of informing people that you have erectile dysfunction, right?

(You)

What gun is that? Shield?

Lol im 25 and fuck daily.

...

>implying ED

How do you feel fucking a hollow dick?

DAMN THAT'S SCCY

M&P 9c

Hands are a little big for the shield. The 9c is 12+1 and carries super comfortably.

Top fucking kek

It has a nice 'vacuum' suction action
It feels pretty fucking good

Nice, thanks senpai.

Is open carrying a sword legal?

Going to take the class to get my permit on saturday.

This is what I will carry

What can i say to this. How are you supposed to clean it?

I carry everywhere I go every day, I even got a concealed carry license so if I go into an area that doesn't allow guns but doesn't search for them I don't tell them I have it.

I don't need to and if I ever got into a fight or someone tried to mug me I'd prefer to just run or give them the $15 in a fake wallet I carry around on me in case of I get mugged.

I imagine those are a bitch to clean properly.

Yes, any object made as a weapon intended for usage as a weapon is protected by the 2nd amendment according to (((the supreme court))).
If someone arrests you for it then it is a wrongful arrest and you can bring it to the top.

Depends on the state

Some 16 year old anime fag in my town was open carrying a katana, was stopped by the police and wouldn't drop it so they shot and killed him

Neet lives matter

Whoa it's almost like letting everyone grow up terrified of guns and being told they're evil and only used for crimes and shooting sprees makes them only see it as a way to hurt other people instead of a tool for self defense and hunting!

People do not feel that way when they grow up around guns and they're treated as a normal part of every day life. If you made knives so difficult to get and then give a kid a butcher knife after 18 years of watching horror movies and watching the news and seeing stabbing massacres etc do you think he would treat it as a normal part of every day life or do you think he would fuck around with it and treat it like a toy?

It boggles my mind how people don't realize this. When all you do is talk about how evil and destructive and blah blah blah something is it warps people's minds into thinking if they get a gun they should use it to kill people because that's all it's designed to do.

Dude have you ever tried one of those things? They're great.

A 26, nice! It's probably one of the best all-around carry guns out there.

I haven't. And i wont even doubt what your saying. But sex toys are for chicks senpai

I'm all for owning guns, but what makes you feel the need to have to bring one with you everywhere you go?

Do you all live in dangerous shithole?

I've just been 'douching' it with tap water and drying it out with a towel
They make anti bacterial lotion for it too but I don't think you need it if you clean up every time

I like it quite a bit. I'm a thin guy so I might end up buying a glock 43 or shield 9mm for summer carry.

It tends to print a bit too much in my summer clothes.

What makes you think crime is exclusive to one's home?

Thats fucked up man. I want you to get rid of it. Get some pussy. And never look back

Nope, I live in a nice place and I carry. Crazies can be anywhere and I'd rather have and not need than need and not have.

Ironically a lot of the most dangerous cities in America also have really strict gun laws so it's very difficult to carry a gun with you in those places

>but
Neck yourself mate.

I've had pussy
I'm not exactly a chad so all I can pull in is hammies that lay there and expect you to do all the work in getting off their 'bowl of hot water' vagina

This pissed me off when I lived in California.

The worst areas wouldn't give you conceal carry licenses because muh gun crime. However most of the guys who were committing the crimes were felons so they couldn't legally obtain a permit anyway.

So the criminals were carrying guns no matter what but if you wanted to carry to protect yourself you were out of luck.

Dude hammies beat the rubber jew every time.

SHALL

I believe this more to do with the place already being extremely dangerous so they used it as an excuse to implement gun laws which did nothing at all to curb how dangerous the city was.

You can't keep guns out of the US, it's too big. In a place like Japan imports and exports are extremely well monitored and most of its citizens are willing to comply with the law, and even then guns get in for criminals and yakuza. I will admit that guns are rare there but under the conditions they're subject to it shows that even Japan is not gun free despite having the ideal environment to remove them from all hands including the hands of criminals and they are still incapable of it.

The gun laws in those places are imposed by stupid kids who think it'll work years later after the supply of guns in the city dry up, they don't understand they'll just smuggle in more effortlessly. I don't think it's a legitimate intentional attack on the 2nd amendment, just morons.

That doesn't mean there aren't enemies of our constitution in government trying to strip the public of its power, but I don't think those cities are the result of it.

When I put my pants on, I strap a pistol on. I am almost always armed when awake.

Word of advice to those who do carry regularly: You may one day wind up in a confrontation where force, but NOT lethal force is justified. One of the last things that you want is to wind up in a scuffle with a gun on your hip, even if concealed. A non-lethal situation can turn into a lethal one real quick, and it might be you getting shot with your own gun.

Carry alternatives to your gun. Pepper spray. Collapsable batons. Tasers. Something. If you carry, it is your duty to try to avoid a situation from escalating to a lethal one, and a shot of pepper spray to an aggressive asshole's face might just do that.

you don't actually use a delta arms as an edc do you? what if you have to use it and it day in the evidence room for 2 years?

a good springfield or kimber is a third of the price and will still put 8 rounds downrange.

Illinoisian detected.

>Live in AZ where fucking white males are the enemy to every illegal Mexican.
>Be a licensed armed guard.
>Be a licensed private investigator.
>Be a licensed bounty hunter.
>Be a licensed CCW holder even though state law doesn't require it.
>Be someone who cares about their own life.
>Be someone who cares about the lives of friends & family.
>See too much crazy shit happen in AZ.

I carry every day. Every fucking day.

I'd like to know WHY Americans feel the need to carry daily. And by that I don't mean that you shouldn't, I'm just curious.

It's not that over here it's so safe, either, but the odds of being attacked, especially by someone with a firearm, are pretty slim.

Would not leave home without it.

SIGs for Trump

>f you wanted to carry to protect yourself you were out of luck
Well, you still could, they just trap you into either letting yourself be killed or injured by someone on welfare who isn't white, or into becoming a felon because you carried a legally purchased gun illegally knowing that you live in one of the most dangerous cities in America and there are criminals who have guns that don't even have serial numbers on them. It's a lose lose and the only real option is to move out of the city if you want to be able to shoot someone who's trying to hurt you.
A lot of these places weren't extremely dangerous until they made guns easier for criminals to have than for people who follow the law to have. They trap people in the city like it's a gladiator arena, let them get killed by some gangbangers, and then use those statistics to say WE NEED HARSHER GUN LAWS! instead of focusing on the root of the problem, criminals that know that no one who isn't wearing a badge will be able to match the force of a gun.

Three words:
>Niggers
>Spics
>Criminals

This.

Timothy McVeigh was a good boy who dindu nuffin until easy access to fertilizer led him to kill.

Kill yourself

I can't wait to flee this socialist rat nest

I would love to, but firearms are pretty much illegal in Maryland.

Well if I did carry I would get slapped with a misdemeanor. But that was because I had legally obtained my guns.

If my gun was unregistered then yes you would be correct. It would be a felony.

Another shitty thing California does is even if you escape criminal prosecution for your self defense the guy who attacked you or his family could take you to court and sue you for shooting the poor dindunuffin.
