Votes don't transfer from person to person. Turnout is everything in a race, and if HRC drops out after all of this, it will be virtually impossible for the Democrats to totally switch track after claiming HRC was healthy for so long. Sixty days just isn't enough time to get someone else energized without destroying turnout amongst HRCwomen. The chips are already on the table, people have become invested in HRC and if you switch now, I think Trump wins by an even larger margin.

I'm not going to go in depth but the pneumonia meme is bullshit. I've had dozens of patients with pneumonia and not one was ever near syncope. Pneumonia was just put out there because everyone goes "oh it's just pneumonia!" When they hear it. She is not healthy and not fit to run. I would not be suprised if she ends up taking a like a week break.

I'm not an expert on the US's election system, but I don't believe this actually matters.
While Clinton would perhaps remain on the ticket in a lot of states (they could go to the courts and try to get it changed); eventually it will go to the electoral college. Even if people have to vote "Clinton" on election day, the Electors put forwards would be free to vote for their party's replacement candidate.
