>the origin episode doesn't come until 2 or 3 seasons in

>it contradicts information from the first few episodes

>show is abruptly cancelled after the first season
>can only view the origin episode as unfinished storyboards and no voice acting

>contains character redesigns that took place later in the continuity

>Heroes have an origin story
>Villains origin is still unexplained

I'm on my way
I'm on my way

>villain's origin is directly, yet obliviously caused by the hero

>Origin Story is part of the title sequence
>We still get episodes about it.

>characters don't age
>episode that takes place before the show makes them look younger

To be fair, most of the time those origins are either about why they dont age or just took place before. Other than that or different hair/outfits characters not looking as old are usually in the minority.

>seemingly youthful character explicitly revealed to be hundreds/thousands of years old
>ages cartoonishly in 50 year flash forward scenes

>Origins episode is the only one with any continuity.

Wander Over Yonder, right?

it crams relationship development in 22 mins to explain why x character is friends with y character

Gravity Falls, right?

I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I'M HOME

>Build-up is bad

Do you get mad at a movie when they don't tell you who the main character is within the first five minutes?

>series has a distinct, reoccurring location
>it gets a redesign in later, chronolocigaly future episodes and the characters take notice of the change.
>an origin story happens
>past version of the location has the look of its redesign

Is that referring to a specific show?

>flashback episode goes into past relationships for no reason to establish the main character's love interest isn't a virgin even though he is

>characters ancestor from 1000 years ago looks almost exactly like the character

you guys do know these shows are for kids right? It's just to help enforce the idea of a flashback for them.

this one triggers me the most. And the love interest has an ancestor that is still a love interest

>Setting in general looks exactly the same 1000 years ago as it does in the present day.

>Network airs episodes out of order
>First two episodes air as a two-parter later in the season
>They're barely connected

>air order isn't chronological order
>it isn't even production order
