Turtles should be edgy and have white eye balls

Not THAT edgy, but Splinter DID train them to kill. And they should always have white eyeballs when wearing their masks, as a symbol of the masks providing menace and a degree of anonymity.

I do like the idea that the Eye Whites are a nictitating membrane effect for the 2012 turtles.

Also...

They don't need white eyes to be edgy.

That along with other things made Archie say "It's getting to dark and disturbing for our younger readers!! Think of the children!!" Then they put an open gay into Archie and have secret agent Archie killed taking a bullet for said gay character. Then the Sabrina zombie special with gore, dismemberment and zombie nomings. Wtf, fucking hypocrites. They should get Allen and Clarrain on the phone and reinstate Adventures.

...

>open gay
>zombie special
>gore
>dismemberment
>zombie nomings
One of these things is not like the others.

Don't forget they hire a like of porn artists.
And porn autists like Ken Penders.

Jesus christ, I know it is hitler.

give the guy a break.

It's almost like a company look at things differently after two decades and a bunch of changed executives.

>defeating Hitler
>edgy

Do the Turtles count as superheroes?

WHAT THE FUCK

anyone have the pages when Leonardo goes blinds and falls of a building and dies, then the NY morgue and police try to find out what he is?

Yes/no

agree

Yes. You can kill and still be a superhero

Why is the art in the comics so bad nowadays? It started off fantastic

Depends on which version and how you define a superhero (like if you consider the Punisher a superhero).

In most continuities, though, the TMNT do not consider themselves superheroes. In the original comics, they weren't even always trying to fight crime or anything of the sort, they just usually happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

>nowadays

these comics are all old as shit, user

Gtfo santaluco is one of the best artist we have had for TMNT

I'm just glad Jim Lawson isn't drawing for TMNT comics anymore. His stuff during volume 1 Mirage was great, but his style deteriorated into blocky deformed shit over the years.

...

Is that supposed to disprove what I said? Compare it to his earlier work and it's a vast downgrade. I mean, if you like the blocky looking characters, more power to you, but they're not my thing.

Bad dream symbolizing Raph's love of violence eventually destroying him. First they rtried to use his negativity and aggression to say he drove Ninjara away...but later they revealed in the Furrlough story that he wasn't slinging the wood. "I craved union" = "I needed some dick, and then-current bf wasn't providing."

This guy knows what's up.
