I was raised with no religion in my household at all. At first it didn't effect me at all when I was a little kid. Then pre-teens came along and I thought I was the edgiest kid alive for bashing Christianity, saying how stupid it would be to believe in some man in the clouds who rules everything. As a teenager I was an elitist liberal, but this was still when liberals would bash Islam for how barbaric their countries are. After I broke up with my extremely liberal girlfriend I was leaning Libertarian. It was only at the end of highschool when I started becoming more conservative because it was after Obama's second term and legalization of gay marriage. Everyone told me the slippery slope was a myth, I believed them until I experienced it first hand. Now after the Legalization of Gay Marriage everyone is pushing "transgender acceptance" or "social awareness of LGBT". Then I took this quiz hitlerorchurchill.info/ and it was the first time I opened my eyes. Sometime after I watched The Greatest Story Never Told and I drew so many parallels with Germany in the 1920's (mostly Berlin) and our country today.
So I've realized that I am a national socialist and I would like the government to ban and burn degeneracy like pornography and communist literature. Then I thought, what if a government of that power did not align with my beliefs? How could there possibly be a safety net? Then religion popped into my head. Holy text with simple rules of man to not become sin filled liberal degenerates. Christianity is what our people and government should run on. I just have no idea how to go about becoming a Christian.
You shouldn't convert to christianity because of your political views, because you will fail. If you don't have real faith in christ then it won't work. You can try deceive yourself for a few years but you will eventually fall back out of it and return to your old ways. That's just the way it is. God will put you through purificatory experiences, suffering and if you don't really believe in it you'll find yourself hating catholicism/christianity and the church and just leaving it.
