Yup. Everyone should be training on weapons, learning bushcraft, have a plan to get out of urban environments, and have enough spare ammo to hunt with if needed, defend a position temporarily, and use for currency. You WILL need to buy SOMETHING, and the only currency will be ammo or meds.
