>Fandom shit that annoys you

How do you guys get annoyed by a fandom? Just watch the show, talk to some people that you know that like the show as well and repeat until death or loss of interest.

t. Stan Lee

Shipping fags taking anything and everything as a sign that two people totally want each other.

>Character does something very bad(Like, for example, straight-up cause the apocalypse.)
>Countless people arguing that they/she wasn't in the wrong at all.

Also Kirk Douglas

Let me guess, Mabel?

>Self-insert

Yes. Was it that obvious?

Pretty much, she's the only character I'veseen on Sup Forums get a bunch of hate threads because of that.

>characters hate each other, to the point of constantly trying to kill each other
>soooooo much shipping and gay shit

That's just shipper logic.

>sexual relations between two family members

See: Bildip.

Literally Invader Zim shitters

just let them ship you bitter cunt

Where?

Azula

what is wander over yonder?

>Something mature happens
>WOW IN A KIDS CARTOON?! SO DARK!

>Be a fan of something
>Dislike something that happened or the direction said thing
>Mention it on a thread
>FUCK YOU BAIT

The Gravity Falls fandom was the worst offender in this category. Steven Universe is a close second.

Speaking is of which
>Character is obviously an antagonist with no redeemable qualities
>Faggots treat them like they're heroes because they are either female or a handsome man

Waifufaggots are a burden

What is Poe's Law

>EPIC JOJOKE!!!!!!

>op

>How do you guys get annoyed by a fandom?
depends who you are. If you are a creator with a fandom was going around telling sensitive people to kill themselves and ruining lives, then yeah, you have a right to be pissed.

>they are all dead and this is purgatory/dream/coma

>show is fairly popular
>fans create 24/7 generals where the only discussion is shipping and which sorry excuse for a waifu you'd fuck

/tlhg/

>These two characters interacting interferes with my ship so that meams all their interactions are forced
>this episode I don't like isn't canon cause I don't like it

>show is fairly popular
>the loud house
LOL

I actually like shipping, but I can't stand

>People getting into aggressive conversations about which pairing is better/canon over another pairing

>People posting about their favorite ship in a meaningless and borderline spam way in general threads

>People getting upset that an unreasonable pairing gets confirmed to be not canon

>People insisting that two characters are actually in love in even if this hasn't actually been confirmed in canon

>Shipping wars

The way I see it, shipping is just a fun "what if" sort of thing. You ship characters together because you think it would be cute, or hot, or that they complement eachother well, and whether or not it'd would actually happen in the story is irrelevant. But not only to people take it too seriously, some are just borderline delusional about it, claiming that characters are totally in love when they aren't.

So every general thread that existed?

That's why I like crackships. It's always just humor and fun, unless it actually becomes canon.

Like KorrAsami.

Or a pyramid

>"lost episode" creepypastas about every cartoon ever
>"muh dark theories about hallucinating/hell/mental illness/whatever"

>The Gravity Falls fandom was the worst offender in this category
No, cartoon voldemort holds the title by a long shot.

> two characters ACTUALLY get together
> There is literally no porn of them

pain

That meme is such unfunny cancer.

Steven Universe has more instances of it. I'm sick of the OMG AMYTHEST MORPHED INTO STEVENS DEAD MOM, THAT'S FUCKING DARK! or the LAPIS TRIED TO DROWN KIDS LITERALLY WOW posts. I don't go into /sug/ and I've dropped the show for awhile now but I still see it in the catalog sometimes.

Gravity Falls' Vs. The Future ending was sorta dark since kids cartoons have a habit of not letting an episode end on something like that (the people screaming during the credits) but aside from that Weirdmageddon was fucking family friendly as hell aside from the face swap scene. Pretty disappointing.

The only time I was annoyed by the GF fans was >DUDE BLOOD WOW

>prepubescent characters
>shipping
>GAY shipping

You just explained about 1/3 of Frozen's fan art.

>calling it a fandom
This is the shit that sickens me most. You degenerate lifestyle fucks who think being part of the Steven Universe """"""""""fandom""""""""" is somehow a way of life.

Its a group of individuals with a shared interest. What is a better phrase to use?

>Before, if any characters used to crossdressing anyway people would just find it funny
>Now we have shitloads of crossdressing porn filling every thread.

t. Stan

>character is horrible to everyone
>has slightly sad past
>"Aww, he was abused! All is forgiven! how dare you hate X for killing people??"

I keep trying to say this in the thread that has 4 panels of years and the one with SU is labelled "bad" but the thread gets deleted before I can reply.

The reason people don't find it just funny anymore is because society has changed, back then there were still gays but they weren't so vocal and trying to push shit into media as often as they are now. After like 2006 it was working on as being as common as it is now. (2006 I think was one of the years on the OP image) and letting the fact that Rebecca likes putting that stuff in SU sometimes, like Garnet just being a gay couple, it still wouldn't seem just funny, because that fanbase has a huge collection of those kinds of people who think that shit like that is "so brave of rebecca to put into the show!" and yes, in this case, the fans do sometimes cause the output on the show. Society is very different now than when bugs bunny used to crossdress. Now it's seen as some progressive gay statement rather then a sorta gay joke. Even people who wouldn't see it as a progressive thing will eventually because not just how society latches onto it but because if people like it for that reason, there's always a chance the creator had that deal in mind.

Isn't that the reverse?

God, you know when this really grind my gears? When the character is horrible to one person in particular, but when the person acts horrible in return only they are at fault.

Like Starscream and Megatron. When SS is awful he's justified, when Megatron is awful he's suddenly abusive and terrible.

he can't keep getting away with this

>when threads get infested with waifu fags

You can have a nice thread going then some guy decides to take a shit on it and dump 100+ images of his waifu

It's hard to not ship those when the creators bait it fervently.

I hate that fandoms constantly want to be validated. Like how there's a large group of fans who want them to say "Science Bros" with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.

>Fandom shit

i was thinking more about that star vs marc shit. we have a thread about that right now on the catalog.

It is not the first thread and every star vs thread devolves into marco-trap shit. I just find it to be a nice gag into one episode and people here are blowing it out of proportion.

In steven universe case we can clearly see it has a shitload of faggotry on it, it is not a secret to anyone, i could stand that if the show was decent but now i know people only watch it for the waifus.

Star Vs is by far the worst offender.

>le zany older warrior is a bad role model XD
>OMG GAIS IT'S ABOUT PTSD AND VETERANS NOT GETTING THE CARE THEY NEED!

>1/3

Fuck this bullshit right here and fuck fujoshits for this shit, mostly.

Goddammit. If two characters in fiction fucking hate each other, maybe they just fucking hate each other.

Are you referring to the Lich?

Let them ship eh....

icarly.wikia.com/wiki/Creddie

As someone who does this, it's because most writers can't write genuine dislike + the longer a show/comic goes on, they tend to run out of excuses for characters to stick around each other despite their dislike. The result is that their relationship works like a weird obsession that more often that not has good chemistry on top.

>character has an Alternative Universe / Elsworld story
>Fandom believes that's how said characters should be all the time

everything in the YMMV section of tvtropes

>tvtropes
Can't fucking stand that place
>"in this tropers opinion"
>stupid puns thrown in sometimes
>theories where they shouldn't be
>people's opinions on a section like "omg that was so fucking cool! sorry sorry, i mean, so freaking cool!"
Kids are the fucking worst.

to them, not just to tv tropes
>focus on things that are extremely trivial, while, not focus on things that are important
>muh overrated and underrated
>deny the obvious
>remain delusional
>edit things I don't like or barely know about

fandom sure is unbearable

Azula has done nothing bad really. She wouldn't fall into that category at all.

Exhibit A

What has she done that is so bad?

>[real-life event] IS TOTALLY LIKE [in-show event] GUYS!!!

so sick of people trying to connect Parks and Rec Season 4 with the 2016 election when there wasn't a damn thing to compare with

.
>X person is a hack because there's something from that how/movie/comic they don't like and credit all success to Y person while clearly having no idea how show/movie/comic came to exist or how the industry works.

Attempted murder, led an evil empire.

>female character is single
>fandom declares her a lesbian even if she's had male love interests because "MUH COMPULSIVE HETEROSEXUALITY"

She never tried to kill anyone and the empire was aggressive not evil

What is Bort?

>any female or male character is close to another unrelated character of the same sex
>THEY'RE TOTALLY GAY FOR EACH OTHER GUYS XD

Fuck this shit and fuck the creators who pander to these fuckers.

We're out of Bort license plates.

People so sensitive that they get offended at a bad guy doing bad things (eg Apocalypse choking Mystique).
"The villain is problematic guys" yeah no fucking shit

Honestly fuck that shit. I don't understand why content creators are pandering to psychotic shipper.

>Character is horrible to everyone
>Has a mysterious past that developed his sadistic personality and actions
>After being popular for 7+ years, every fanart and fan fiction is based around softcore gay sex
I swear to Christ on his throne; the year my drawing skills drastically improve is the same year he receives hundreds of delicious gore/guro art.

Most m\m shipping is like this. I cant get into it for that main reasons. Fujoshits cant accept their shit will never be canon and have fun. No its always the writers fault and are homohaters and shipbaiting.

No you shits. Its your fault you think two dudes being friends means they wanna fuck. Their logic is basically
>male A cares about male B's safety
>A yelks and berates B
>A and B say hi to one another
>omg they wanna fuck. Writers when are they gonna fuck

"Fandom" pisses me off. It sounds so fucking obnoxious. Also almost all fans are too.

That recent phineas and ferb thread quickly comes to mind.

>they end up holding hands in the last episode
>SEE? WE WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG! THEY TOTALLY WANNA FUCK

>retards that believe a stand alone episode somehow affects any future episodes in terms of quality and has any relevancy outside of its episode.
Boils my blood

I don't mind the porn, but a similar thing bothers me.

>character crossdresses for a joke, or does some gay shit for a joke
>THEY'RE TRYING TO PUSH FAGGOTRY ON SOCIETY!!!
or
>SO BRAVE OF THEM TO FIGHT AGAINST BIGOTRY!!!
or
>HOW DID THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS?!?

Sometimes a dress is just a dress, and a joke is just a joke.

>and a joke is just a joke.
I wonder if the Jin is a prostitute joke stopped being a joke and people just started to believe it.

How about how people try to force characters into "morally good" and "morally bad" boxes. And how if two characters with opposing views clash, and one loses, the show is somehow trying to push the morality of the winner.

I heard that one recently and couldn't remember if the show actually implied it at any point. So I guess I came close to believing it.

This. For shame Sup Forums.

I can say with full confidence that it did. it became one of those 'see how smart and cynical I am' hot opinions the same way people swear blind that Spirited Away is 'actually' about a brothel

Can you give some examples?

This. I tought Steven in a dress was hillarious and adorable. I did not see it as a meaningfull statment of any kind, but maybe I'm wrong. ( Let alone erotic.)

>Hatedom is just as annoying if not worse than fandom
>it's ok and never gets called out.

I really hate them. Used to be a time where you actually could do that, but then the ponies came and "justified" the hatedom for anything.
>Muh keep them in check

>everybody is more interested in talking about the female characters than the game itself.
>basically everyone loves the series for different reasons to you, and those reasons are terrible.
each day i become more convinced that becoming a recluse is the only route to happiness.

(OP)
>Show has mildly dark aspects
>People blow it out of proportion and run wild with BAD END headcanons
>Repost them ad nauseam like they're bound to happen eventually
>Actually get upset when the creators don't cater to their suffering fetish

For fuck's sake, just let the show be itself. Not every new show has to be the American Evangelion.

>Game
Don't know which one you're talking about but for cartoons it's fucking Wonder over yonder
