>The Year of our Lord MMXVI >not believing in universal, free healthcare
Why do you hate the sick, poor and needy, user? I thought your "God" said to care for them? A true Christian would support universal healthcare and a ban on assault weapons and 30 round assault clips.
We =/= gov't I'm trying to care for the sick but you keep taking my money...
Brody Ramirez
I don't see healthcare in our bill of rights
Parker Ward
>Why do you hate the sick, poor and needy, user? They are weak, and the weak deserve to die.
Nathaniel Gonzalez
The government isn't paying for the guns
Joseph Parker
Pretty sure a true Christian would support both universal healthcare and guns.
Shoot the poor, then pray for forgiveness.
Landon Wood
You can have free healthcare when everyone can have free guns.
Ryder Anderson
You have a right to access healthcare if you can afford it.
You don't have the right for the government to pay for your guns.
Dominic Jones
Last time I checked I wasn't asking for the government to pay for my guns.
Asher Butler
I don't expect to government to buy everyone a gun
Justin Hughes
liberals are fucking retarded
that statement qualifies that the government would tax half the country to give free low quality assualt rifles to everyone whether they want them or not....
the ability to BUY assault weapons is an american right, just as the ability to BUY healthcare is an american right.
all fucking liberals should fucking hang
John Wright
just as you have the right to own a gun, you have a right to buy healthcare. Nobody bought me a gun so the better question is; should liberals create a constitutional amendment and provide universal healthcare on the taxpayers dime will they then be willing to help fund my second amendment right and buy me a gun on the taxpayer dime?
Lucas Ortiz
Spending your money to get assault weapons is a right, spending your money on healthcare is a right.
Getting government money to buy assault weapons is not, and getting government money to buy healthcare is not.
Jack Russell
...
Nolan Garcia
Good idea, Occupy Democrats. We should tax people so that everyone could get free assault rifles.

Assault weapons are a constitutional right, healthcare is not. Human rights do not exist unless declared by the ruling government.
Also, I don't believe in helping the poor, I believe in eradicating them through better opportunities of employment.
Dylan Hernandez
Last I checked the government isn't paying for people's assault weapons.

>mom im sick can I stay home from school? >you can go to school or dig your own grave
Leo Bell
w-w-w-why not both?
I don't want some state run bullshit, just for the cartel (mostly insurance companies) that jacks up prices to get shitcanned
fags who point at bloated SS/medicare budgets and say "see, government run anything is bullshit" are missing an important detail. Whenever the government creates a system in which it is obliged to pay out for such a large number of services that people are always going to need, it creates a very perverse incentive for a cartel to form and keep prices inflated. Antitrust law has largely gone out the window in this country.
Sebastian Phillips
No such thing as free
Oliver Gonzalez
Because "The Right to own Firearms" means that you have the RIGHT to buy weapons with your own money....
And the "Right to Health-care" you speak of is stealing money from others to pay for your healthcare.
Not exactly the same thing, yes?
Adrian Nguyen
Universal healthcare is not "free". It's paid for by the taxpayer.
The right to bear arms is a constitutional right in the USA. Healthcare is not.
If you want to add an amendment for healthcare, then by all means petition for it.
You don't have to get rid of the 2nd amendment to get """"""free"""""" healthcare.
Besides, illegals often get free healthcare by going to a clinic and simply leaving afterwards. By law, the clinics have to treat them anyway.
Personally, I support universal healthcare - in theory. A pack-a-day-for-sixty-years smoker should not have his lung cancer treatment paid for by the taxpayer. A healthy athletic medical school student who gets cleaned up by a drunk driver shouldn't have to pay thousands of dollars to get their broken bones fixed if they can't catch the driver.
That's the big problem though. You can't easily draw the line. You have to do it on a case-by-case basis, and that adds costs.
Lincoln Diaz
I mean, unless you guys want to be taxed to pay for other peoples healthcare....
Dominic Gonzalez
>Reduce freedom of the population to take care of some sick people who made poor choices. Healthcare was actually cheaper before Obamacare.
Noah Cook
So you are all moaning about paying for others healthcare but if you were hit with some life changing injury or disease you could not afford wouldn't you want help? Yes you might not ever need anything significant but chances are someone you know will. Would it not make you feel safer knowing your mother/daughter/whatever would have access to treatment without any extra costs needed from you?
Joseph Cooper
I am a Christian, I support healthcare that is reasonable, not an Obamacare utter failure.
Also, I don't want to ban assault rifles, I'll keep my second amendment rights, thank you though.
Austin Rogers
>assault clips
Why do you nu-male faggots insist on making these threads a joke? Where in the Bill of Rights does it say i need to pay for some lard asses insulin shots, or some chain smoking low life's cancer treatments?
Please fuck off until you can come up with an actual argument other than "gimme free shit in exchange for your most important rights, its 2016"
Pic related, same stupid "Im a godless scumfuck but still appeal to religion " argument
Ethan Clark
Exactly. Its 2016. You are living with rights laws and ammendments written hundreds of years ago!
This thread further proves that litte gullible conservatives vote against their better economic interests
Bentley Thomas
>i have a right to have slave doctors spend the money of white, non-jewish people on my diabetic fat ass >also more free shit to boomers, yay >also, we have to pay for our own guns and ammo, and you parasites are welcome to pay for your own healthcare
and you're not allowed to defend yourself goyim
Nicholas Reyes
It's hard fucking enough to see a doctor with my insurance, I have to call and bring in like 10 pieces of paper. Imagine the wait to see a fuckign doctor when all 300 million peope have a "right" to see it before you do.
Jaxon Watson
The constitution was written 229 years ago. It was before healthcare was much good and before a healthcare system would he possible. Now however it is but you all want to live like its 1787?!
Carson Collins
Adding on to this, I should be able to pay for better healthcare if I can afford it, or if my insurance allows it. I don't want to see the same physician that deals with little nigger kids all day, because I know that physician has stopped giving a fuck.
Leo Brooks
One of these things require another human beings work and thus can't be a right (at least outside of a white society), the other one doesn't.
Isaac Butler
You have right to pay for your own assault weapon. You have right to pay for your own health care. You have no right to force others to buy you either.
>Why do you hate the sick, poor and needy, user? Because in 90% it's their own choice because getting welfare is easier than doing a job.
>I thought your "God" said to care for them? A true Christian would support universal healthcare and a ban on assault weapons and 30 round assault clips.
I'm my own god, I don't follow Jewish imitations.
>Prove me wrong. Already done
Jonathan Allen
Right? Who needs a fully semi-automatic military style assault rifle anyways?
Caleb Jones
People have the right to both healthcare and guns, they do not have the right to get either one for free though.
James White
Oh and there is private hospitals and healthcare in the UK too as well as our NHS. So if you want you can pay for better health care which would probably be cheaper due to people having a choice of "free" healthcare.
Christopher Ortiz
nobody is forcing you to pay for my guns. As I should not force you to pay my medical bills because I love to suck down burgers with extra pepper bacon and chedder cheese that eventually lands me with high blood pressure.
Fuck off ignorant nigger
Nathan Ross
the right to have weapons isn't a human right, but instead a right that americans have because it is in their constitution. healthcare can't be a human right either. you can't make the argument that Party A has the right to something that Party B consume resources (spends money) to produce. that is like saying i have the right to potatoes, so i can come and take them from your field. i am british and we have the NHS. it isn't a right, but a benefit of British society that it is free at the point of use. it isn't free though, it is paid by taxation of individuals and businesses.
Brandon Torres
>assault weapons? wut? you mean assault rifles? machine guns? dumb libs. also free healthcare will fuck you with how fat your people are
David Stewart
If you agree with that image you haven't read the Constitution, which does indeed give you the right to own weapons, and doesn't say a damn thing about healthcare.
Chase Miller
assault weapons are healthcare, they stop people from being injured or killed by others
Oliver Brooks
>government using tax payer money to buy assault weapons for everyone That doesn't happen. This macro was made by a retarded person.
Liam Sanchez
I'm actually all for single payer health care. Countries that do it spend less total on healthcare and have better results. There are certain things that the state can do more efficiently than the free market and healthcare is one of those things. But the US is so fucking corrupt with politicians like Clinton you know that some lobbyist would pay for a 500k speech to someone and get a 10 billion dollar bullshit contract. So I am skeptical it would work here. We otta just contract the Netherlands to run our healthcare system for us.
Oh and suicide should be legal for any reason. You would see a drastic decline in gun deaths if people had a better way to check out of life.

IF YOU THINK DRIVING CARS IS A HUMAN RIGHT BUT HEALTHCARE IS NOT, YOU'RE WHAT'S WRONG WITH AMERICA
Gavin Nelson
Apparently Salafist rebels.
Austin Hall
I personally agree with both, but in modern society we cannot have universal healthcare without going full retard. It would just end up like welfare or Social Security
David Davis
Both are basic human rights, I think everyone should be able to purchase whatever they want
Adrian Martin
I believe in charity and helping those who don't deserve it.
However, those who don't deserve it should not demand it, and those who demand that others help those they are not willing to help are hypocrites, disguising the demand as pleading for a "right" diminishes true rights. A right is ones freedom to act, it does not dictate how others act or impose the burden of one mans life choices on the rest of society.
Jaxson Foster
I'm not a christcuck so you're up shit creek with this strategy and you don't have a right to enslave people "for a good cause" so you're fucked with this jewism as well.
Brandon Anderson
Well i would be okay with it but the problem is that America is full of non-whites. So healthcare cant be implemented anyway beacuse of America is totally dependant huge corpartions. Raising taxes(Bernie Sanders style) will lead to an mass exodus of rich people.
Ryan Lewis
These libtards are fucking retarded.
Christopher Evans
>Assault weapons >Human right
No. You don't have the right to "assault weapons." You have the right to buy them with money. Same as healthcare.
Jose Ortiz
>implying any political entity on earth has the authority to outlaw gun ownership
Chase Anderson
WTF are assault clips?
The sick need to die. The poor and needy need to die.
William Parker
Why do liberals confuse rights with entitlements? He's comparing apples and oranges.
Jackson Russell
Pretty sure if you call 911, they show up if you are fucking dying they try to help. Americans are so unhealthy and (((health industry))) is gonna rip us all off. I don't want to pay fpr beetus needles and Guadalupe-Martinez-Sanchez-Gonzalez-Rodriguez-Juan-Guerro's family of 17
positive vs negative rights troll thread, everyone go home
Anthony Adams
what if you think both are rights?
Asher Bailey
Rights that are positive are extremely difficult to enforce and maintain. Rights themselves are not given by the government, but are rather guaranteed.
The right to bear arms is not the right to arms; the state is not obligated to provide you with arms. Thus, the government will not interfere with your ability to bear arms.
Likewise, the right to an attorney is a relatively new nuance of the sixth amendment. The sixth amendment contains a clause about a right to fair trial including the right to be represented and assisted by counsel. Before 1938, this was understood roughly as the right to have a lawyer on your behalf rather than be provided with one.
Likewise, to have a right to healthcare in a negative sense is frivolous as healthcare is roughly understood as care that allows one to live and the state can't deprive you of life without due process. In a positive sense, this would make the state responsible for your healthcare until your death which bears a whole host of complications.
Luke Peterson
you are conflating 2 separate issues... Guns and healthcare are not mutually exclusive... Guns are protected by the 2nd amendment, and healthcare is a not.
Gavin Clark
Fundamentally misguided statement. You are guaranteed to be allowed to possess a gun, not that you are guaranteed to actually possess a gun (i.e. you still have to pay for it). I don't know much about American laws, but there probably isn't a law directly stating that you're allowed to seek healthcare, which wouldn't change much even if it did exist as you still have to pay for it.
Jonathan Walker
>free healthcare gonna see a decline in people studying to be doctors if you pay them nothing ladm8
Colton Clark
Don't you think something is wrong when weapons are in your countries foundations and healthcare is not?
Sebastian Flores
Liberals ladies and gentlemen and non-binaries. >Forced to pay for government mandated healthcare for yourself... and everyone else. >You can purchase a gun at your leisure. Mmmmmm
Brody Howard
who needs a Ferrari? who needs a private plane? who needs to learn Karate? who needs a million dollar home? who needs a color TV? who needs a mobile phone? who needs an image board? who needs porn? fuck off commie. We don't live according to needs alone, and where do you get off telling other people what they need?
Easton Stewart
No. It's even simpler for that.
Let's say that tomorrow the Great Dictator declares access to fresh produce to be a "fundamental human right." And he has the Treasury Department print up checks for everyone in the country for one million billion gorillion dollars, redeemable only in fresh tomatoes. Now, do you think that tomorrow, the price of fresh tomatoes is going to go up, or is it more likely to go down? Explain your answer.
When you have explained your answer, then explain to us how medicine and medical services are different from tomatoes.
It's the law of supply and demand. Supply and demand and Gresham's Law (bad coin drives out good) are the only universally repeatably true conclusions in economics.
Socialized medicine hands out blank checks to nursing homes, to hospitals, to doctors, do medical specialists, to drug companies. They create all this new demand. They pour all this money into the market. But the government doesn't create any more goods and services. The government doesn't manufacture one aspirin tablet, one bandage. They don't train one doctor. So more dollars are chasing the same amount of goods and services, and the bureaucrats are shocked! SHOCKED! to see prices rising. "Gee, you know what'll fix this? MORE MONEY! Quick, raise taxes so that we can give out more free shit and keep our voters voting for us!"
You want to see the price of medical care come down? Get the government out of the insurance business. Get rid of Medicare, get rid of Medicaid, root it all out, 100% of it. Then there will be fewer dollars chasing the same goods and services, and as if by magic, you'll see prices come down. This is what happens in a free market.
See also, food. See also, housing. See also, higher education. See also, every other fucking thing our government does that isn't building roads, guarding our borders, and delivering mail.
Jace James
No. It's called "liberty."
Matthew Reed
Without weapons government can stop all the healthcare and then shoot every person that wants healthcare, because nobody has anything to defend themselves
Opinion is a opinion, people who judge who is "what's wrong with" are the worst, because there is no discussion
