Tonight's patreon strip; Roz forcefully outs her sister to the media and Willis is oblivious to why people are mad about it

Don't worry. m8, nobody faults the effort but in the end, you're trying to inform people whose brains have been put through a blender.

I mean, obviously Cerb has been put through the ringer by whatever mental issues they were born with and whatever life threw their way, but then so have like half the serial killers I've read about.

>straight girl calling others "queer" and thinking shes on their side

>you're never crusty around the edges

I have no idea what that means

I think it's referring to sandwiches?

okay, let me rephrase that:

I have no idea what that means in a colloquial sense

I was looking in the archives, and it seems like people were mistaking Joyce for a lesbian in both universes.

I assume it's supposed to mean that Dorothy is straight-edge and clean, while Roz's snatch is so loose that she uses a cable support system to keep it intact.

>Roz's snatch is so loose that she uses a cable support system to keep it intact.
I'm wondering how that would work.

see that's what I thought

or that Roz is some kind of sea faring vessel and has barnacles on her undercarriage

Wait Robin's with Leslie in this universe too? And Roz outed her to win an RA position? And people are defending her?

I used to have a friend (very Christian) I liked who I wasn't completely certain wasn't a lesbian, the way she seemed revolted, disgusted, or generally avoided the topic of sex.

And then I fucked her

>roz
>likeable

Yeah, calling bullshit. She's the single most self-righteous, hypocritical and abrasive character in the comic. How the hell is anyone supposed to buy this!?

Are you a boy or a girl?

The Robin/Leslie relationship is a new development that could go either direction.

Roz has been attempting to out Robin in a bid to ruin the latter's political aspirations as well as to win support for her own professional aspirations as a new RA to replace the now rehabilitated Ruth.

People are ignoring Roz because Mary is in this strip.

Long story short, Roz enrolled Leslie in this plot to seduce her sister and ruin the election for her, and Leslie went along with it because the possibility of fucking Robin overrode the moral sensibilities that she usually has. They didn't fuck, but Roz took a picture implying they made out

Ok I was just wondering because like no other relationship is the same as it was in the main universe, so Robin/Leslie being an apparent thing here surprised me.

>win an RA position
friend, those aren't elected offices, they're picked by university staff. which makes this ENTIRE STORYLINE pointless and asinine.

except this is the willis-verse, where the only person over 30 is puddinghead, so i guess we'll see election posters in the hallways in two months

>as well as to win support for her own professional aspirations as a new RA to replace the now rehabilitated Ruth.
no Willis retroactively made this about the RA position because Ruth was still RA back when the stupid "Leslie seduces Robin" plot was hatched

I'm a MAN

I have always hated Roz since he made that fucking shortpacked strip making fun of people who didn't know what the clit tickler on a dildo was for

if a straight couple can be broken up to be made Lesbians, it will

if the danger of Lesbians being broke up is present, it will be deflated in a few strips

atta boy

Now that I think about it, this new subplot is the first time I've seen Roz with people legitimately liking her for her personality. She and Joe just use each other for sex; Jacob figured out that she's basically a nympho and thinks of her as such; she was at the party but anyone will party with a girl who'll fuck anybody unless they piss her off.

HOW MANLY ARE YOU?

yeah but like I said every other main character in the walkyverse is with someone different

>31 Dec
Does this mean that we've been making threads for more than a year now?

To recap: Once I get back to my desktop from holiday vacation, I'm going to look into making a Python script that can:
1. Generate a URL based upon brute-forcing (a; b; aa; ab; aaa; aab; etc.) or through a dictionary approach (aardvark; abacus; acolyte; etc.).
2. Ping DoA.com to see if the URL exists on the server (if so, it returns 200; if not, it returns 404).
3. Copy successful URLs to a text file.

If possible, I'd consider finding a way to scan an entire month's worth of comics, looping the process whenever a 200 URL is found. But I'll get there if/when I get there.

Nah, we're gonna get a debate or two, followed by some kind of election.
Also, the only people over 30 are Puddinghead and The World's Most Awful People (aka Parental Figures)

We hit that point back in November.

>mfw Cerb admitted to spearheading efforts to forcefully out politicians who might be troublesome and is proud of it

I'm no SJWackjob but I wonder if certain peoples within Willy's comment section have just revised their opinion of this fellow.

Also, question for science:

>If one accused Cerberus of having a hateboner for Mary, would they off themselves?

Fun fact: there are actually two relationships that are apparently canon in both universes: Becky/Dina and Robin/Leslie. And besides Dorothy/Walky, every endgame relationship in DoA is expected to be gay.

I think it's implied that Joyce / Joe is endgame too

who is joyce gonna get with then if she's gotta be in the gay singularity

Didn't we discuss a day or two ago that Dorothy/Walky was on the rocks and in danger of breaking up in favor of Dorothy hooking up with Joyce? Or was I thinking of something else?

I think that was more wishful thinking than actual discussion, user

>Becky/Dina
you what

yeah, he made that shit canon in an epilogue to SP!

Dina and Becky are on a motorbike together shooting soggies into the sunset

FUCK SP!'s ending was dumb

I've got half my bets on 'Joyce finds a hidden bi side and ends up with Becky because God Answers Lesbian Prayers' and 'Joyce never gets a partner because Willis is too much of a pussy to write her getting over her fear of guys after what Ryan did'

Honestly, is there anything you can think of that took such a sharp turn towards shitty as the ending of SP!?

I had blocked that from my mind due to how bad it was

Maybe. I remember thinking that there would be another "You'll fake it for her, but you won't fake it with me" moment between Becky and Joyce when Joyce began dating Dorothy.
I also recall Carla fucking the heterosexuality out of Dorothy too.

I believe it was a unicorn, but yeah, Dina/Becky became canon for no reason.

So what was this week's slipshine?

>harp turn towards shitty as the ending of SP!?
homestuck

Paranatural

shit, i'll reclarify: the only person on campus over 30 is Puddin'head

I hope Joyce gets with Dina and Becky dies

Is there any way we can make Willis stab himself over this shit?

I don't think you can use the phrase sharp turn to talk about paranatural

Billie/Ruth

But we don't have it because pornanon lost his subscription

Bringing Vriska back was one of the worst possible things he could have done, honestly

I said sharp turn, not gradual decay over a year of hitball, ya mook.

>Homestuck's ending
>a sharp turn

If you consider at least half a year of hiatus a "sharp turn", then sure.

No, but we could get him to start drinking obsessively, maybe.

>Bringing Vriska back was one of the worst possible things he could have done, honestly
How I met your mother syndrome man. It's fucking awful.

He didn't say ending he just said a sharp turn to shit which it did in act 5. and act 6

ahhhh you got me. It was slow death, kinda like a candle that finally used up all it's wax

SP! was like a car pile up in NASCAR with no survivors

Paranatural's gotten worse, but not as bad as Homestuck or SP!

If Zach fixes his hand up for good, finishes this slog of a chapter and plan the next one alright, he can make a comeback. There's no comeback from Homestuck's retcon or the fucking soggies

I don't think Willis knows what a like-able person looks like. He must not have any (good) friends. Nothing about her is quirky or endearing.

>SP! was like a car pile up in NASCAR with no survivors
At least Dina was brought back.
But then they confirmed that becky x dina was canon in the Walkyverse as well.

If anyone cares, this is how Joyce and Walky ended.
Chronologically, it's way before the end of Shortpacked, but I believe it was finished after the end of Shortpacked because Willis is a procrastinator.

Also, appantly Walky was TIME's 2003 person of the year in the Walkyverse.

>AOL Keyword: TIME
Shit

It was 2003, after all.

How tasteful

For comparison, here's how Roomies ended, back in '99.

And here's how It's Walky ended in '04.

Happy New Year!
Greetings from Happy Dick Edit user!

>shitgun
NINTENDO SHITGUN

It's a callback to an earlier strip in the finale storyline.

If VA user is lurking around, I would like to request this comic, but after the first two panels, have Walky read out Big Smoke's Order.

Man, what the fuck happened to Willis' writing

The man's not fit out for College Drama.

I have never read or heard of this comic before, I hav't been on Sup Forums for months.

I'm so mad that this is the first post I see on my arrival back that i'm going to explain why I am so very mad about this comic. I have no context so I'm only going to be talking about this strip.

>First panel is randomly obviously larger than the rest of the panels by a lot.
We meet the two subjects who i'll be calling blondie and david bowie. All characters are completely out of perspective with the wall. Blondie looks concerned, and is approaching david bowie seemingly to confront her about something she's done.

>Panel two is obviously smaller that panel onw but im pretty much positive it's still larger than panel three, enough that I almost want to measure it to make sure. Blondie and david bowie have swapped locations breaking basically the number one rule of cartooning. I guess she just concern-stomped right past her then turned her head back to talk to her? Since we cant see the door from this angle it's more likely that upoin reaching her she immediately said her line and turned around and is now walking away and the camera just randomly swapped directions drastically. David bowie has the most autistic retard child smile ive ever seen in this panel, My gut instinct is that this is the author self-insert whose like totally zany and quirky in horrible ways but is a super genius for no reason and probably will make a robot sidekick at some point. Blondie has forgotten why she came to talk to david bowie explaining why she immediately about faced and began walking away, and since she has no object permanence in that time shes forgotten she was concerned/angry/whatever. She now wants to know about the outfit which im sure is to set up that she seems to have flipped on some previous stance, but because of how the previous dialouge is about there being a lot of queer people here, it really just looks like Blondie is saying david bowie is dressed like a fag.

1/?

wow i can't believe willis ripped off Watchmen

This art style just shows you his art can be good when he hasn't spent the past several years phoning it in. Those expressions have way more emotion.

Or maybe I've just been wading through this shit for too long.

I'll say a bit of both.
His good comics are long behind him.

>panel 3 starts up, and this panel is the smallest, even though it has relatively the same amount of dialogue as all the other panels. The author unintentionally (I assume) makes blondie tell david bowie she looks like a fag twice in two panels time. The dialogue of panel two and three reads like this; "Theres a lot of gay people here", "So you dressed up to look like them?" "Yes!" "You kinda look like a gay" "And yesterday you didn't want to be gay" This panel brings up some prior motivation that im assuming david bowie has flipflopped on, Im going to assume it makes absolutely no fucking sense because I can't imagine someone saying that them getting a job was just "The will of the people" if they didn't want that job, unless blondie takes everything autistically literal.

>Panel four is randomly layers on top of panel five and im pretty sure its larger than panel 3, does this person not own a ruler or did someone tell them they should try panel diversity and this is what was made up. David bowie is angry that blondie called her a fag twice, and is now talking about how shes dressed pretty casually for what appears to be a casual setting as if that was a really bad thing, Blondie continues to have no object permanence, between panels she's looked away, and has forgotten that shes vaguely concerned/angry about the second thing shes vaguely angry/concerned about in four panels. Instead of saying "what the fuck are you talking about?" or "what does that have to do with anything" she says "I am approachable" which means nothing,

>just look at panel 5, just look at it. What david bowie says here makes me think that this is supposed to be an accidental "Freudian slip" moment where she reveals that maybe she thinks what she just did wasn't such a cool thing to do. And that shes made a mistake.

>nope never mind, she thinks that shes a cool slyfox. Blondie has looked away at some point and doesn't seem to know why david bowie is speaking to her, because she has no object permanence. So we're at panel 6 and six panels have been incorrectly placed. Which is a pretty bad average of zero good placements. At some point they managed to make it to another door thats to their left, while walking right, thats not the same door because yhe paper shits not on it. So now I know someones going to say "they never were meant to be walking right, they are walking left the entire panel, but then david bowie exists STAGE FUCKING RIGHT, which means that in this time they've walked just far enough to reach a second door in this hallway, after blondie randomly passed her, walked in that direction for no reason, and then david bowie was like "oh yeah im walking this way" and walked back without any of that being mentioned.

This is one of the WORST laid out comics ive ever SEEN in my LIIIIFE, what the fuck HAPPENED who draws this GARBAGE?

>Those fucking faces
>Babies first ruler perspective hallway STILL Fucks it up
>A plot development SINGLE SLIDE FORMAT COMIC WITH NO PUNCHLINE OR JOKE.

Literally, Garfeild and heathcliff are better than this.

i like you. we should hang out more user

idk man, It's Walky was great, Shortpacked was good for a while too, it's once he realized he had to go full tumblr to make up for years of right wing parental abuse that he went downhill

I think it's more he realized he could get equal returns for less effort. Why try for artistry when people eat up anything?

why make a good comic when you can draw your characters awkwardly fucking and charge for that?

More like, if you draw a character in a setting that makes the audience believe that they may one day see a nipple, and occasionally deliver on that, then you can cock tease them onwards for thousands of pages.

Willy obviously cared about his work at some point. And I mean cared about it for its own sake rather than how it'll be a liberal masterpiece (which it isn't).

But at some point he stopped liking it, and since then, he just does it to make cash and stuff it in the face of his critics.

I was wondering when we would get our own Cerberus.

As satisfying as it is to blame tumblr for every bad thing that happens you've also got to consider the possibility that Willis is just really fucking lazy

But this user is way better.

>big smoke
who?

Well, good luck. If you can do it, go for it.

youtu.be/qMDRiVj1Lz8?t=18

He's not even fit for reality

Imagine if we found next month's comics and toedad came back at the end.

vocaroo.com/i/s1muCLNJIp7c
thoughts?

Fucking Golden.

You gotta give us the transcript, m8.

"What I want?

I want 2 number 9s, a number 9 large...
A number 6 with extra dip; a number 7.
TWO number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda.

But...but what I'm getting IS known. Horrible meals WILL happen to Joyce. She'll eat alone. We won't have dinners together-- we'll...we'll have SNACKS, and she's WASTING them with ME.

Dinner isn't guaranteed to be delicious. Sometimes you can't possibly change what you want into what ACTUALLY gets ordered. The person who orders you lunch can be happy eating out with somebody else. You're NOT the center of their eating habits. Meals...go on without you. "

>music track is 'His Cheeseburger', from Veggie Tales.

I don't like that lesbian

So what will happen here, will lgbt republican politician ride the pro-gay Trumpish wave to get elected on a nationalist miloesque platform or will we descend into willisworld where she gets murdered in her sleep by her own supporters?

Which one?

what a masterpiece

I refuse to believe Willis is setting up Roz to be the right one at the end of this scenario.

It's fine to be imperfect, it can be smart to out people for their own good before they get in too deep, and it's definitely fine to be charistmatic on occasions but it is not fine to act holier than thou about it, same as anything else. It's not a 'likeable' trait, to say the least.

She must be being set up to have a reflective period. Being 'crusty around the edges' is what got Trump elected, so unless Willis has pulled the shock 180 of 2016/17...

So Leslie will be the one on the brink now that she's ruined the life of the person she lusts over?

Would Roz even cared if Leslie tried or actually killed herself over this (yea the latter likely won't cause Willis doesn't have the balls)

But would Roz even stop to consider her actions. All sources point to no from what I see.

And Mary would be the bad person for calling her out.

Oh anything to shit on Roz would be great. Didn't harm the campaign only expanded it Bigly.

Wait, so Roz forcibly outs her sister essentially pulling the same kind of "horrible" shit Mary's done (i.e. using someone else's misfortune, her own sister's in this case, to leverage a better opportunity for herself) and in all of this Mary is still the evil one? I mean I don't think Roz as presented is meant to be in the wrong according to Willis, just somewhat misguided but well meaning. If she was wrong, she would've had more than one person half-assedly confront her and not immediately shifted focus to "DON'T FORGET MARY IS EVIL AND NEEDS TO DIE" and then have Leslie show up to just Wojack all over the place uselessly.

Roz, in reality, is probably the shittiest major character in the entire comic but will never actually be treated as such as she's basically Willis' Id made manifest. Sure, she doesn't think about who her actions might affect but what's important is that they're for the "right" reasons and she just does theme and some times you have to break a few eggs and all that.

As noted Leslie would have to have some remorse about ruining a person's life. But that likely won't happen as this isn't wrong in their minds.

She got what she wanted, but it won't happen because I doubt the persons life you just wrecked will feel a thing towards the person that hurt them.

Good on ya, user.
