C/D-Listers Thread

A-List bigshots need not enter

>these robots have more personality than Cyborg

Next Big Thing, right here.

...

Never enough love for the legendary protector of Jews
And powers crazy enough that he's a hard sell to noncape readers.

good taste everyone

...

...

Z-Listers > C/D-Listers

DC's got some nifty space heroes. Whatever happened to Space Ranger?

...

Come on, Way. Young Animal ongoing when?

I ain't got a pic of him on my phone from the comics but I mean the comics version.

Mal Duncan should have been one of Arrow's recruits though. Fuck Jimmy

...

We need more Rocket Red

Well, this thread's off to a good start, already.

Wonder if we'll see any new stuff in 2017...

Man, I miss this ornery ol' cuss real bad.

I miss these kids.

I like that Wolfman and Perez realized the sensitive artist being gay was too stereotypical so they turned him into a horn dog ladies man.

Only time I've read anything with Adam was Swamp Thing. What a silly character.

For as dated as his concept is, Adam's one of the most consistently enjoyable characters in DC for me. I can't think of any Adam Strange story I've read that I've actively disliked.

...

Is that seriously just a guy in a fucking Halloween costume?

...

B-list, at least.

>he doesn't into the best Batman villain of all time

She's had so few appearances that I wonder if she even counts as a D-Lister.

...

speaking of which

Green Lantern isn't C or D lister

>tfw 2017 is the 10th anniversary of her creation and still no solo story

he might just be a generic flying brick but I like his design

Oh hey I just read about him in the Animal Man trade. What other stuff is he in?

...

Literally the best Starman, by far.

I wish he wasn't abandoned

I appreciate your dedication, Mania user

>netflix series never

kek

That Morrison run was FUCKING WEIRD and I want MORE

How were these dudes received?

I remember when they were kinda big.

...

...

I like the left more.

...

Judging by Alonso's last interview, they're really thinking about making a Netflix series about MK.

My body is already ready.

I fucking love 80s and 90s c/d lister Marvel villains. Because half of them should have been super badasses but just get jobbed so bad it makes it enjoyable or they are so pure camp it just makes you smile.

...

both these guys

That's Wild Dog right? And who's the other guy?

Cave Carson. His series is low key one of my favorites ongoing right now

Thank you

I'm glad he's not around for people to shit up, honestly.

But seeing his staff around when he technically doesn't exist hurts a little.

blue beetle cameo when?

I wanna say he dies in Cry for Justice to give Congorilla a motivation

Well once the JSA comes back maybe most of that history can be restored and we can still headcanon that Stargirl's staff came from Jack.

they had that one shot in National Comics....He showed up in Teen Titans right before the nu52, even though he was killed by Calculator

I do think he has a really cool power

he's actually immortal or unkillable or whatever

>implying he's not the greatest villain of all time

I miss him :(

kek

Why the fuck would you add "low key" to your sentence?

>generic
He's not.
Read his original series.

...

The Phantom Judas bullshit is still one of the biggest blows of the N52 for me.

It was a great comic and people thought they were a wild success.

I loved when every issue ended with Adam staring quietly into the sky.

Okay, so he's a flying brick with warrior training and a knack for alien super-technology.

>Victor Mancha died without being a hero, arrested for killing his brother's son after going all junkie on vibranium
I loved Vision but i fucking hated this

All right, I'm gonna need context or at least a source.

Sigh

I loved how in Batman:B&B the Faceless Hunter went nuts & told B'Wana "Do you realize just HOW powerful you are?!?"

Nah anons...if they got a movie? Even a shitty one? They are at least B-list

Nuff said

Source is Primal Source. A team book that faced mostly magical threats with an odd collection of characters.
Context - Short Version

Red became the Air Elemental of Earth and after deciding to not kill all humans incarnated back to robot form. His evil aspect stayed elemental and bad things are happening because of the it.

*Primal Force

C-list Lanterns are best Lanterns.

He got his happy ending literally riding into the sunset.

Jack Knight is one of the few superheroes who was able to walk away from the business and not look back. Be happy for him.

Wes is awesome too, but damn Sandy had a lot of cool concepts rolled into his character, and I'm still sad he got pushed to the side so often in the JSA series.

One of my favorites but with no proper rogue gallery and a costume that hasn't changed since his creation, Dead Man will forever be a C-Lister.

It's especially disappointing consider how he started off leading the new team for a good long while

He also had a solid design, felt like a natural successor to Wes' own costume.

He was an interesting intermediate step between the old guard of original Society, and the legacy characters that made up the team under Johns/Goyer.

>Wes gets killed in Earth 2: Society
>Sandy doesn't fucking exist anymore

Rebirth please.

Give me my Sandmen back

Good power set too, fit in a lot of areas and stories.

I agree

...

Me too.

Much love.

moon knight is upper c-list, normies are gonna swoon for him when they finally give him his netflix series

How much Adam Strange are we getting in the near future? I know we have Death of Hawkman, but he's not particularly well written in that. Also that Future Quest crossover.

And Xavin was sent into space never to be mentioned again. The Runaways can't even enter limbo gracefully when they are not stuck in shitty shock value comics...

those appearances are ass.

Judas Stranger>uhh look at me I'm enigmatic and cryptic and mostly useless

He's a nice person who doesn't deserve to be dead.

...
