Why would an adoption agency let a young billionaire in a dark creepy mansion isolated from the city take a child in?

Why would an adoption agency let a young billionaire in a dark creepy mansion isolated from the city take a child in?

Legacy.

Billionaire is the key word there.

Anyone giving him grief got their palms greased.

When your name's on the agency

money talks, user

Gordon allowed that so he can practce his skills for preparation for the main course

Gotham is a shithole, adoption standards are at the bottom of their laundry list.

>Warm house
>Father even if he's a bit creepy
>Not in a bad part of Gotham which mostly everywhere
It's a city kid's dream life.

He's a WHITE billionaire living in a creepy mansion isolated from the city

Bruce originally took Dick in as part of a witness protection program but then told gorden he was gonna keep him. At least that's what the show presented.

I remember a thread here some time ago where it was discussed and a rather amusing idea for a short arc was pulled together where a CPS agent is trying to go after Batman for child endangerment but also does a surprise visit to Wayne manor, she has a dislike for Bruce and his playboy image, but feels as long as that nice English gentleman is running the household it's quite fine.

What's funny is that CPS DID pay a visit to Bruce at one point in aughties Batman. This was back when Cass was Batgirl and Tim was Robin.

Bruce hilariously trolled the inspector by having Cass come in in a men's white shirt and act like his lover, but of course this didn't constitute evidence so the inspector left butthurt.

DC actually allowed that to be written?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bruce wasn't actually trolling there and wasn't in the mood for it because it was about Jason's death.

Cass was just being Cass and didn't know what she did was inappropriate.

Same agency that let a kid from 2 rich and influential families be raised by his butler instead of any of his living relatives.

>OP thinks that rich people can't do whatever they want

At least it's for a good cause.

>billionaire

You answered your own question. He can do whatever he wants.

They figure either he's too busy fucking hot chicks and the english guy is raising the kid...
Or Bruce and the mr pennyworth are gay and have an adoptive son together.

he donated them a new orphanage "no strings attached *wink*"

Alfred is probably more capable than that shitty uncle who likely never even wanted the custody.

Orphanages don't actually exist in America anymore

Yes because rich people do whatever they want

where the fuck do they keep the orphans then? The fridge?

Is it wrong if you're missing half the story?
Bruce wasn't really upset because it was about Jason's death, he was upset because a strain of the clench virus had jumped species to the bats in the cave, mutated, and infected Alfred with all their guano. Alfred was lying sick and dying when the caseworker came by.

You get to see Bruce fail at cooking and you get to see Dick reading Shakespeare to Alfie sick in bed. Then the caseworker guy insinuates that Dick and Bruce roped Tim into a gay pedophile sex ring. It's an interesting arc.

We call them group homes but they're the same damn thing.

They're either put into the foster care system to live with relatives or put into "group homes".

>shitty uncle who likely never even wanted the custody
Why wouldn't he? His nephew is the heir to the Wayne fortune. Surely he could find some way to make money off of him.
