It can't be

It can't be...
She's more powerful than Yoda, Obi Wan, Mace Windu, Qui Gon and the entire jedi council combined
She's more powerful than Darth Vader, Palpatine, Darth Maul and Count Dooku combined times infinity!

WE STAR WARS NOW WHITE BOY

why did they pick the most simian looking nigger they could find?

She's a fucking freak force abomination. That's what I'm getting. If Anakin was the Chosen One, she's the Anti-Christ.

To be fair, whatever sex the new Jedi main character was, they were gonna be more powerful than previous people.

And frankly, as of the original trilogy the amazing power of Darth or Luke was slowly swinging a sword in predictable arcs and occasionally doing a little flip. It's a relic of the time and of the SFX tier of the 70s/80s. There's no way they actually wanted the showdown between Obi Wan and Vader to be this embarrassing scene of two old men slowly rotating.

The uglier the nigger, the more virtue you signal.

t. retard leftist logic

George clearly wanted the flippy fast motion fights from the prequels all along

i find it funny how all of his friend thought he'd just get a role as some extra as he told them he would star in the new star wars movie (i wish they were right)

He definitely wanted flips because he has that at the end of Jedi. He definitely didn't want this

But it's all they could do. It was funny even at the time, the crew would frequently laugh at what was going on. The prequels are shit in another way, they involved too much of what had happened to SW since, namely the videogames. The Darth Maul fight is probably like the original vision more, the Anakin vs Obi Wan at the end of Revenge is fucking horrendous though.

>But it's all they could do.
That's true. This was before stunt doubles existed.

Yes on that day I truly became Star Wars: The Last Jedi rated PG13 in iMAX and 3D

>We the cis white male will bow before the coming of the one true Jedi master
Did anyone else find this a bit too heavy handed?

>But it's all they could do.
>implying this slow paced scene isn't as twice as impactful as the Darth Maul fight.

it's funny how sometimes George completely ignored what made the first 3 movies so great

>Rey's not a Mary Sue!!
>Luke confirms she is one

FEMINISTS BTFO

Yes, stunt men in some form have existed for centuries yet action scenes in movies clearly get more advanced over time as they get more advanced cameras, editing techniques (and don't literally have to slice the film with a razor blade at the right place), bigger budgets, etc. Even within the original trilogy they visibly get more advanced. Remember, in ANH that was meant to be it, no trilogy, there wasn't even an Emperor until the next movie. That Vader vs Obi Wan fight was originally the fucking pinnacle of on-screen Jedi action.

And it's not impactful, it's comical. You see an old man who hated the film and thought it was pathetic, slowly turning and slightly moving a plastic stick around while the Green Cross Code man of the 70s does the same in a suit he could barely see out of.

But the emperor was mentioned in episode 4 you moron

>one type of person
You just know he didn't want to say color to not sound racist. But the funny part is if he had said color, he'd at least be honest. With that, he's implying that color is the primary characteristic of a person, which is pretty much the basis of racism.

To be fair, wasn't Luke a Gary Stu in the originals?

Because they're deliberately trying to make ugly people seem attractive through media exposure. to be fair, it works -- just look at Jennifer Lawrence

She's not a Mary Sue. The force is female, shitlord.

No at all
He started as dumb innocent kid who became braver and wiser with time

Kinda of

But at least Luke had Obi Wan to guide him and nobody ever told Luke that they were scared of how powerful he is.

What's Rey's excuse going to be this time?

>trying to make sense of this mess

Oh you

So, she's like... the Chosen One..st?

>To be fair, wasn't Luke a Gary Stu in the originals?
Not at all. He got his ass kicked a bunch.

How many movies until we get some godlike force user? I mean its getting pretty silly at this point.

Same stuff with capeshit and powerlevels gotta increase every movie or else

>has to be saved by Obi Wan twice in the first hour of the film (Sand people and the cantina)
>meanwhile Rey is a master martial artist in her first fight

He's a naive young kid who knows how to drive and shoot.
He get's his ass handed to him by a sandperson, he's completely at the whim of his family, who he sees brutally murdered, he gets picked on in a bar and someone has to save him, he get's in the way of han solo who tells him to pipe down, he's taught to trust in the force and is later reminded to from beyond the grave.

Firing a gun and driving is something most americans can do.

His main character arc is discovering the empire is evil, doing the right thing, becoming brave and joining a terrorist group.

Compare this to Rey, a slave who has the freedom to bargain a droid for food, the martial prowess to defeat multiple assailants in hand to hand combat, can speak droid, fix hans space ship better than he can, fly the millenium falcon, operate the hyperdrive, slaps a resistance fighter's hand away when he tells her to run, is taught to shoot a gun by han solo in less than thirty seconds, backs the fuck out kylo ren with his force torture, mind tricks a guard without training, pulls a lightsaber without training, defeats a darkside member of the skywalker family who had been trained by luke himself.
and is gifted the millenium falcon, chewie, the love of princess leia, a gun from han solo and the skywalker saber for no reason at all.

The only time, she fails an obstacle is when kylo makes her go to sleep, only for her to break out of prison by herself. She solves all obstacles, has zero flaws and is more capable than the villain.

So no. Luke is not a gary stu.

Took him 3 movies to beat the Darth Vader of the OT.

Rey beat the Darth Vader of the sequels in the first film, right after she first touched a lightsaber.

Not even Anakin was this bad.

Anakin in the first one was. Luke was kinda.

but anakin made sense. it was established right from the get go that he would be a very strong force user. we all knew this off screen from a new hope, aswell.
And Anakin also received years and years of training.
Rey just whipped Kylo's ass, was able to force-manipulate a solder, can best multiple opponents in hand to hand combat. theres a lot of stuff thats wrong with her character.

*soldier

No one can equal the power, imagination, and the projection of Kathleen Kennedy, female trends, and Di$ney'$ ble$$ing$.

The Force is female and must deconstruct the OT at all cost.

He wasn't talking about Rey

Now that would be a twist.
Won't happen, though

Anakin
>blew up space station as a child by what is clearly shown to be luck
>wins a podrace with help from his new jedi friends
>Gets wrekt and loses half an arm when fighting Count Dooku
>gets manipulated by Palpatine and slaughters a bunch of children
>Gets wrekt by Obi Wan

Luke
>Gets wrekt by sandpeople
>Has to be saved by Obi Wan again when some guy in a bar nearly kills him
>Begs for Han's help to save a space princess he falls in love with
>Has to be saved by C3-PO from a trash compactor
>Has to be saved by Han in the first 5 minutes of episode 5
>Fails his Jedi training trials badly after failing to recognise Yoda
>Gets wrekt by Vader
>Has to train again
>Eventually beats Vader an entire film later only when Vader clearly stops trying...
>then gets wrekt by the Emperor

Rey
>Literally doesn't get wrekt once
>accomplishes everything through skill/talent - nothing is implied to be luck
>Beats Kylo Ren (the grandson of Anakin and trained) on their first fight with no training
>Constantly shown to never need anyone else's help

No, they're not on the same level as Rey
