Co does Earth-2

Ok we can all agree that DC shat on Earth Two as a whole. Anyone on co want to give it their own spin that remains fun and faithful to the original concept?

No, I just want everything involved in it to die and never be seen again.

Reset Earth-2 back to golden age.

I'll start. So Earth-Zero is the main earth post flashpoint right? Its basically the focal point of the multiverse borrowing heavily from nearby 5 Earths. From Earth 4 its Charlton characters, from Earth 5 its the fawcett guys.

Earth 3 has an owlman and deathstorm which Snyder and Johns introduced separately into the main DCU (hell grail could be an earth-3 superwoman analogue since she is an amazon with heat vision). So it's safe to say elements are borrowed from all these earths.

So Earth 2 will be heavily inspired by Kingdom Come and New Frontier. Think New Frontier in the early days but minus your silver age heroes like Barry or Hal.

Jay will be the Flash who thinks he is in over his head. He goes through that same arc as Barry did. The Justice Society stay the same.

The twist will be that the teen sidekicks to form a team called the Teen Titans. Keep in mind there was an Earth 2 aqualad and speedy during the pre-crisis days. Have Donna be a teenage magical duplicate of Wonder Woman and voila we have our teen titans minus kid flash.

I am thinking however Wally still exists in this world. Meaning in the future he does transform into the kingdom come flash.

Alan Scott meanwhile discovers the Gaurdians exist in his world after meeting Earth 1 Hal. He finds them to be long dead in some ancient cataclysm. The lantern ring was one of the last remnants of said apocalypse. He builds New Oa as tribute to those guys as we see in Kingdom Come.

The lantern ring is still magical too tho, its a blend of technosorcery. The green lantern ring was slightly defective when it came in contact with whatever magical trouble that disconnected it with the rest of the GLC eons ago.

The nice twist of change is that there is no Powergirl or Huntress here. Bruce had a kid with Talia. Who went on the shack up with Dick and Starfire's daughter.

Stories of JSA characters in their prime in a modern setting. No Trinity.

Bruce is an old man. He had a hand in Joker's death the same way it went down in Miller's dark knight returns. He never took a sidekick after Jason died. Batgirl was murdered in this reality. Wayne Manor itself was demolished by him as his identity got leaked public.

The JSA here fought the Justice Lords in an alternate reality OR they were the ones who intervened in a version Regime Universe of injustice. That's why when Lois dies Earth-2 Superman choses exile rather than go crazy.

Ofc we can't talk about Earth 2 without bringing in Earth 1.

Earth 1 is basically where the JSA never happened etc etc. It is the modern setting of your regular justice league. However here Teen Titans never formed together. The original Titans anyways. Only a version of the New Wolfman Teen Titans exist (think the terrible TVshow lineup). A nod to the fact both versions exist in Earth Zero- the earth that is an almagation of five earths.

Here Bruce Wayne loses his fortune, his public persona becomes a more humbled person. Eventually a model citizen that becomes police comissioner like we see in Original precrisis Earth 2. Bruce here marries Selina and has Helena. He later dies in the line of duty due to his age.

Kara's rocket lands on Earth as Clark and Lois adopt her as their own daughter.

The two grow up to be huntress and powergirl and join Infinity Inc. Stargirl and Stripes are members, Nuklon, silver scarab, fury, and a bunch of similar members of infinity inc that were featured characters from the series 52 like nikki jones as Jade.

Another distinction probably is that Dick Grayson we all know and love never becomes nightwing. He became an adult Robin much like his Earth 2 counterpart, (a nod to infinite crisis when Batman asks E2 Superman whether his Grayson was a better man than nightwing).

One funny thing would be that the heroes of both E1 and E2 will constantly refer to their Earth as E1 and vice versa. It makes sense since some of the history is kinda flip flopped.

infinity inc in E1 and JSA/Titans in E2 etc.

It will also feature two of the most likeliest versions of Bruce. One a bitter old man that has turned anyone close to him away. Second a hero that sadly died in the line of duty.

Found out that Earth 2: Society is going to end with issue #22. Has DC said anything about what's coming next?

Proper JSA (older heroes who have been forgotten for some reason) was strongly hinted at in Rebirth but we have little/no idea of what form it will take.

Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman should be immortals.

They're the only ones that never went away and never changed much even after all the reboots, retcons and whatnots.

See the way I'd do it is ya know how Forever Evil set up e3s as having a polar opposite primary personality traits from e0s? I'd make e2s like that with secondary one. Like Barry is always on time so he never gets his powers. Hal's a family man. The Guardians are less dramatic and just fuse the Manhunters to dieing cops. Wonder Woman is more driven. Superman is more political. Batman and Green Arrow have swapped personalities. Aquaman is Namor without an Atlantis.

Kill these 3 was a mistake.. worst than destroy his earth..

What would origins of Alan and jay be? Also if E3 is E0 opposite and E2 is secondary then what even is E1? Pure superhero distillation that mimics the DCAU?

Unh... but Wonder Woman is driven as fuck. Both Batman and Wonder Woman are the most driven JL members there is. They live and breath for their mission.

>Ok we can all agree that DC shat on Earth Two as a whole.
Yes. I want my old JSA back without the Trinity. We get enough of them in the other 51 universes.

Let's do this.

The Story on Earth-2 starts back with prince Khufu, with his millenial love Chay-Ara and Black Adam, we get to know some Nabu and we start prepping a world that is more magical than technological, we talk about Shazam and work with egyptians fighting invasions from Starro, meeting Gaiman's Sandman, from there we start jumping to different eras.

We spend most of the time on early 1940 where, in a world with a Superman, a Batman and a Wonder Woman, governments are too scared to start a world war so it's much more peaceful but more tense world, Black Adam is still alive but Khufu anc Chay-Ara are in the middle of another rincarnation. And we go along wo making the JSA with the usual characters, embrace magic, let science be science.

Make Terry Sloan leader of the JSA.

As a whole? No. When Robinson was writing, it felt like Ultimate Justice Society, and was IMO one of the best books being published by DC. Then depending on who you ask, editorial wanted to give Tom Taylor a seperate book set in the same world, and Robinson lost his shit, or he didn't want to write what he was being told to abd resign. Either way, the book and world quickly because the shitty shitty absence of anything good its become on the whole known as. It has been better since Abnett took over, but at this point he's effectively giving Lindsay Lohan plastic sugery to get her looking decent again before putting her out of her misery.

Earth 0 is main earth (Pre flashpoint new earth, post flashpoint prime earth).
Earth one is actually a young earth (I think it was silver age themed to mirror the original earth-one while earth 2 was golden age themed). Think of it as DC's Ultimate universe.
Earth 2 was supossed to be golde age themed but something (maybe editorial mandate) happened and earth 2 become earth progressive/earth SJW.

So I fell off the wagon and don't know what's up anymore. There was Earth-2, then Earth-2 Society. Is this still going on, or did they kill off the book entirely?

Final issue in March IIRC

Earth 1 is those GNs mang.

Society ends in March, then there'll probably be a JSA Rebirth later this year

Yes, giving this concept to Blunderobinson was definitely a mistake.
