would post mine but it's kys worthy trash

I wish people just had the titles of the movies within the pictures, these threads are annoying for that reason.

>Nosferatu
>Barry Lyndon
Very nice

Titus, Dark Eyes, A Field In England
Queen Margot, Barry Lyndon, Network
Come And See, Holy Motors, Baraka

>to find new kinos by attractive cinematography
Except when you want to ask about any of them you get called a pleb for not recognizing one frame of some obscure polish arthouse film from the 60's and never get the actual title.

Last of the Mohicans
Tale of Tales

Nope, but added it my dl list

Post the titles you piece of shit redditors otherwise go fuck yourselves.

dersu uzala desu, last of the mohicans, luna papa
NCfOM, last life in the universe, the fountain
cave of the yellow dog, white son of the desert, ulzhan

jauja, slow west, Darjeeling limited,

give dem names boi

Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, La Cité des enfants perdus, Inception.
A clockwork orange, The bothersome man, Léon: The Professional.
Stalker, The skin i live in, Lolita.
They're not ranked in any way, and this 3v3 is kinda old. I've swapped the skin i live in with The fountain, which is my now favourite film.

Hey newfag heres a pro tip: if they don't give you the title then its a meme

Oh sorry. maybe Man on the Tracks or Repentance (1984).

I'd never heard of Angelidi before, I will definitely check her films out

Star Trek KINOgraphy

can someone explain why you guys don't just have the titles within the image? are you autistic? it cuts down on asinine replies

you mean mis en scene?

Isabelle Adjani was so fucking hot...

mise-en-scène

1. I imagine people like the clean, textless look.
2. Most of them use mosiac maker, which would then need an addition photo edit.
Though it's probably a good idea to spend the extra 2 minutes.

>babby doesn't even know what it means

all the shit in front of the shot, meaning these images. doesn't account for motion, but it's more accurate than cinematography which is the distance, camera movement, lens and filters, etc

>all the shit in front of the shot
no. you're exposing your brow

please enlighten me

Any recs would be appreciated

...

+1 for City of Lost Children
Can I have the bottom right?
Also, taking a look at your 3x3, I recommend Tae Guk Ki [2004] + The Road Home [1999].

1929 and 1919 were the best years for film

Black Narcissus. Also, thank you for the recs. I've been looking for more foreign language war films to watch, so Tae Guk Ki seems like a good choice.
What's the name of the animated film in the top middle?

...

5/9 are close up shots: yawn

Thanks for the film, going to watch it tomorrow.
Top middle is Nocturna [2007].

That's The sixth sense? I thought it was much better than Man with the movie camera, both came out the same year and both kind of deal with a similar topic.

It's a wonderful film. Jack Cardiff's technicolour cinematography really elevate Powell's films for me.
Thanks lad, putting that on my watchlist

so the thread gets bumped

Get on my level plebs

Sup Forums is way too fucking fast. 15 minutes since a post and this thread is all the way on page 8. Pretty ridiculous

Bottom right?

Cannibal Holocaust

...

Ulsup my nizzles!

Lolita & Leon. You know man. Don't play the fool.

Ayyyyyyyyy, im not gonna deny it!
The city of lost children aint too bad either!
Lolita and leon... My nigga!

Big time bump

they're for pretentious redditors to signal their hipster cred to one another. SAGED

nice

So autists can complain about this board having a thread that isn't an RT circle jerk.

Okay

...

need to update this badly but cba

Not that there's anything wrong in posting covers, I'd recommend skimming through pics/taking an aesthetic screenshot from Youtube to pique the interest of others.

I didn't even pick up on that until you mentioned it.
I'll redo those other five.
