Literally how?

Some people will watch literally anything solely to spend their money and engage in a social activity and feel better about themselves.

>t. viral marketer

>engage in a social activity and feel better about themselves

oh shit bruh

>plebs flock to shit-tier movies
WOOOAAAW WHO WOULDA THUNK

next you'll be arguing the bayformers/capeshit loving chinks don't have a penchant for coprophagia either because LOOK AT THE BOX OFFICE WOOAAAAAAW

>beauty and the beast is one of the highest grossing of all time
Still don't fucking see how. Maybe the chinese singers were really good or something.

>Ghostbusters is moderately successful
uh no peg

>Ghostbusters is moderately successful
Why do you lie?

This thread is about Sup Forums always wrong. If it was as obvious as you say then why didn't Sup Forums predict this?

>Box office $229.1 million
>Rotten tomatoes 74%
>Critic Consensus: Ghostbusters does an impressive job of standing on its own as a freewheeling, marvelously cast supernatural comedy -- even if it can't help but pale somewhat in comparison with the classic original

>Did not make twice its budget
>Taking obvious astroturfing seriously

>successful because it made a lot of money
the west needs to be purged

>Box office $229.1 million
Funny how you forget to mention the $144 million budget (which doesn't even consider money spent on advertising).
Anywhere you look they will tell you a movie that fails to make twice its budget is considered a flop.

It didn't make any money though.

you forgot It

Ghostbusters was a failure.
BvS was being memed by contrarians who wanted DC to beat Marvel so bad they fucked up their delusion.
Warcraft didn't flop but it did only succeed because of China. That's a wash there.
Force Awakens was hugely successful but once the nostalgia wore off everyone (or most people at least) has now realized that TFA was incredibly uninspired.
You're right about Rogue One.
You're right about WW but also consider that the DC track record to that point suggested another failure.

what didn't make any money

Always hated this way of doing it. Because it works out how much it cost as well, not how much it made. Spider-Man earned more than WW, but due to it's cost it's lower.

Ghostbusters. It didn't show a profit.

Sup Forums was also wrong about their critical rating too

Ghostbusters was successful in triggering all the Sup Forumskids.
