Why was he such a fucking wimp?
Why was he such a fucking wimp?

His encounter with the neematoad scarred him for life. He even convinced himself it never happened and was just a "haze the new kid" snipe hunt concocted by Roger.
That is messed up.
Doug was clearly not for kids. It teaches kids to be wimps and how get far in life (not).
Also, Skeeter should stop honking or he will get cancer
Am I really going to be "that guy"? Doug is an inevitability. Eventually everyone faces the fact that their dreams won't ever come true. All that they're destined for is mediocrity. Doug just realized this sad fact before most grown adults. He isn't a wimp or a loser. He's just a normal guy.
I'm willing to bet a good portion of Sup Forums was like Doug when they were kids. Awkward, overactive imagination, took lighthearted jabs too seriously, and self inserted themselves as superheroes in their minds.
I am living a great life though.
I was more like Arnold when I was a kid. Optimistic, smart, calm, acted like a mature kid, got good grades, and actually lived a good life.
Because he likes it up the ass
youtube.com
This. that was the point. it was a show for the losers of the world so they could feel better
you guys have it completely wrong. doug didnt 'realize' anything, he still tried.. and the show didnt teach kids TO be wimps, it taught wimps to be kids
Doug Button
something something nick arcade
requesting doug prime flow chart
Because the shitty cartoon was based on the creators childhood. He even got cucked by irl patty pancake years latter when he found out she was married.
God damn it, I know I have it. Why isn't it in my Doug folder?

I've been looking for an animated episode of Nick Arcade with the original Nicktoons cast from the Nickelodeon cable launch. it was 1979, or close to it. Doug hadn't given birth to his younger sister Judy yet, but as we all know, he would within days of the episode. the games were green screen as was the style at the time. one was Sonic, that much I remember. there might have been a Resident Evil too, and of course Call of Duty.
Doug, as most celebrity guests were, was awful at the games. he constantly died and then would look at the camera and give a "Dear Journal" speech. somehow. he came in second to Ginger Foutley, which I was surprised to see considering she had killed herself a few years ago. beating a pregnant Doug was still an accomplishment, as Judy was also given a controller and their scores counted together.
since he lost, he was deleted from the show. as in, completely deleted. it was like when a film strip catches on fire. I was scared that he would be deleted from his own show as well, but luckily there were different animators and he did not disappear from Doug like he did Nick Arcade. it was quite haunting though, and I can still hear his screams when I close my eyes.
the animated Nick Arcades were hard to come by especially since most betamax players from that time were damaged in the nuclear war with the Soviet Union. still, I distinctly remember this episode and hope to see it again. I think Doug could have gotten more points in Sonic if he had used the spin dash.
Here's a scary thought, the vast majority of people working in the media making industry are wims and pussies like Doug. Just look at Alex Hirsch.

Somebody just fucking explain this to me. I see it all the time. Is it an edited version of a different copy pasta? The awkward phrasing makes it seem like Doug references were edited in.
That's a parody of shitty scanlations.

Not the image, I meant the text about Nick Arcade that's been in every Doug thread.
Some user did and a bunch of other MS Paint comics making fun of Doug.
Then some other user did a thread about which characters Liefeld should draw and someone suggested Doug. And then some other anons wanted to see Doug Liefeldized so I went and scribbled some. Then I thought it would be funny to do a Liefeldized version of And after that someone else thought there should be a Greg Land version and did that themselves. It led to the other variations.
Thank you. I missed that, so I've never known the origin.
I can't remember when that one user did the MS Paint comics, but it was around at least before 2008, cause that's around when I started doing the Liefeld Doug. I haven't done it in a long time, though.
This?
Also, I always wonder why there's so many fucked up Doug fan comics.
Kind of yes, but the one I'm thinking of actually had the Seraphim chart image behind it. The one that was in NGE. I've gone through my shit, but I can't find the damn thing.
That makes sense. I was transitioning from Sup Forums to /tg/ back then. I never once visited Sup Forums until the Nazi Mod purges.
user to the rescue.
It's called the Sephirot or Tree of Life btw
thanks my man
Thank you very much. Sephirot/Tree of Life. I didn't grow up religious let alone Catholic, so NGE was the best descriptor I could think of.
It's Jewish.
Okay, same explanation. Though that does actually surprise me. It really looks like a Catholic thing.
He really was a wimp. I often think of Patty Mayonnaise crushing Doug's testicles under her sneakers and then holding one leg up and dabbing at the mixture of blood and sperm and being like "Oh, is this mayonnaise?" haha.
As a diagram it's a little reminiscent of the "Shield of the Trinity", I guess.
but doug is doug
recess isn't doug, fucking TJ is not a fucking doug
With the risk of sounding like a crazy person, I'm wondering if Doug was actually an actively bad influence on kids.
I mean, what kind of behaviour does he reinforce? That you should autistically obsess over everything and just asume the worst in every situation, instead of dealing with your shit? God knows I was dangerously close to being Doug when I was a kid, I sure as shit didn't need this show to make me think Doug was some sort of role model.
Can't you argue that Doug's overthinking constantly makes a fool out of him, so the moral is the opposite?
Maybe, but Doug being confirmed as a stupid loser doesn't really help kids there either, am I right?
I can't really remember a Doug coming out on top, is what I'm saying.
I'd say that's it, but I've never seen that before. For me, it was an almost indefinable Roman Empire seeping into Vatican art quality. I can't really define it or justify it, I just know it's a mental connection that I've somehow formed during my life. I would have bet money that the Sephirot was purely Catholic. It just seems like it must be to me.
One of those weird things that aren't based on facts, just associations you unconsciously make during your life.
