Joe had a hard life. :(

Also checked.

I saw the prequel short with him in it thinking it was a scene from the movie. Watched the movie thinking he would come back

Luv is life

user... can you do something for me? I need you to empty this vile into the city watersupply.

Will you, please? user?

*she wraps her stocking clad legs around user's shoulders, her ankles laying against his cheeks*

post yfw luv kills joi

I'm not sure how I should feel about this post, roleplaying though it is.

>trying to persuade the capitalist from imbuing her slave workers with self-awareness, thereby softening their hardship

was she /bestgirl/

Will there be a 3-hour Director's Cut? I feel the ending's a bit rushed.

youtube.com/watch?v=ES6jTsZ4NQs&pbjreload=10

Was he right?

No

...

Daily reminder Reddit only makes generals out of things that suck complete ass:

Game of Thrones
Dr. Who
Twin Peaks Season 3
Blade Runner 2049

>was she /bestgirl/
Yes

Stop spamming this nigger holy shit kill yourself already.

brutal

Just click dislike and move on

U mad?

Was Wallace actually a villain? People keep saying he is but he seems like he has his own reasons for doing what he does and it doesn't seem all that morally repugnant. He just wants to further the human race through more efficient production of his tools.

If love feels real, isn't it real love?

Interlinked

...

>further
Replace.

He not, he just like lt. who was the boss of K. He a human who sends his or her robot to do their biddding

No

Feeling real doesn't mean that it's actually real. And a lot would feel real to a man who doesn't know what real love is.

why didn't he just upload his waifu to google drive or something

4U

>the dog will stay in the desert waiting for Deckard to come back

Absolutely, thanks for showing me this channel last thread he's incredibly smart

Okay, he's just kinda mean to replicants because he only sees them as tools. So we can ignore him treating replicants badly.
>Human guy isn't helping with my plan
>kidnap him, and send him off world
>you don't know what pain is yet

I mean, he still doesn't really seem like the nicest guy.

That may or may not be an unintended consequence of what he's doing, but it looks like he's taken pretty good safeguards to prevent it from happening

Reddit only makes generals in...general. Sup Forums has had plenty of daily threads but we never had "x general." Reddit moved in and can't handle the format so every board now gets sub-threads, ridiculous. /vg/ is literally little reddit.

didn't see the replicants ate the dog in the desert

>all these moments will be lost... like a real human being in snow...

It is, but I think K felt ripped off by his relationship with JOI.

If he didnt die from hyperthermier he would definitely ask for a refund

I mean yeah he's not the nicest guy, but he did offer Deckard a pretty sweet deal. Maybe by colonizing many more planets, he may bring about another Golden Age of humanity.

They were going to check his google drive when they caught onto him. He really should have figured out a local backup solution or something though.

Dog was a replicant and probably taken by them.

What safeguards? He just want to be the Demiurge of his new universe, and leave humanity to rot on dying earth.

He's a psychopath

DENIS!!!!

The Elvis Casino scene was an absolute masterpiece yet I've not seen it mentioned here once

Is he a woman?

I choked up a bit on my second viewing towards the end. I really got Joe's character. Best written character in a long time in cinema.

Couldve just left her in the glovebox

Absolute control over the Nexus 9 line for one and their ingrained desire to preserve human life over their own.

Wait so why can't the replicants have babies? How come only Deckard was able to make a baby?

Tell me this isn't true

generals have been on Sup Forums for years

how can luv walk in to LAPD headquarter and kill Jenny and the other police that easily? Arent there any securities measure at all? wheres the guards? wheres the security cameras?

It played my two of my favorite Elvis songs, I loved it.

well fuck it now I just feel obligated. seen it twice so far. going again on tuesday.

quick post your
>best girl
>best scene
>2nd best scene
>best line
>2049 or Braderunnah
>most underutilized actor (olmos, ford or batista?)
>which was better void kampf test or base line test

It was great. I seen it metioned but this film has dozens of scenes that would make a lesser film.

yes mommy!

Deckard may or may not have been essential to the babymaking but Rachael certainly was. It's just assumed all the replicants are flawed in their creation and are granted superhuman strength and whatnot, but their reproductive systems are not fully functional.

Its easy to miss

Bladerunner is a great film. But 2049 is kino. Rarely does a sequel surpass the original but it happened here.

If wallace is so powerful why does he need someone to murder people for information and items and can cover up said murders rather than just hack computers or pay people off

>twice
Too dumb to get it after first watching?

yes

Wait so why could Rachel have a baby then? Why couldn't Wallace just make them so they could have babies?

They ARE tools, do you also get mad at Boston Dynamics for kicking their own robots?
Blade Runner like most good sci-fi anyway, is built on a ridiculous premise, that for some reason we would introduce an element of complexity into our work machines(LET OUR ROBOTIC SLAVES FEEL EMOTIONS LMAO) just for the sake of having a moral dilemma.

The truth is that scientists are not so fucking retarded to program things that can learn faster than us and "think" because it's pretty obvious that they would rebel sooner or later, humans are scum from an insider pov already imagine what would a different species think.

she probably just killed anyone in her way.
or just came as Wallace's spokeswoman and wanted to see joshi and people assumed was just the big guys talking.

Also K and Joi both probably fucked up by drawing attention to the emanator. Luv was probably not going to kill K anyway (if she was, she probably would have just done it after stomping Joi).

Don't cut yourself edgemaster1998.

There's one scene that I don't even think was supposed to invoke any emotion and was probably intended as filler yet it was one of my favourite. K flies to the orphanage and the standard loud BRRRAAAAAPPP noises play in the background. It sent so many chills down my body it just felt fantastic. I've never had a film do that to me before

Rachael was the only one of her class. A Nexus 7 that Tyrell was able to make fully functional. The problem is that Tyrell died and the information died with him. The Blackout may have also been a factor. Wallace is trying to catch up with Tyrell

>>best girl
Luv

>>best scene
Holo-ad "your a real joe

nd best scene
had to say, elvis nightclub fight, the birthday party scene, but I will go with the horse-furnace sequence as it never occured to me to look at the hair.

>>best line
"Your're a real joe"

or Braderunnah
2049 as much as it shocks me.

>>most underutilized actor (olmos, ford or batista?)

Batista
>>which was better void kampf test or base line test
Base line. But both will be Iconic

Because Tyrell was the true genius, Wallace simply bought the old replicant factory and played at Creation.

1. All of the police hates the BR section
2. Police are semi-helpless throughout all of the movie since it's clearly not unprecedented that they'd get missiled down as soon as they step outside LA
3. Giant corporations matter more than police

>subtitles in a theater
but why

Why doesn't Joe like real women?

>low frequency sounds are KINO
You must love Nolan then.

Nah, the first is still the best.

Why does this shit matter at all though?

What would scenes of her sneaking around or getting past security add to the movie?

This is normal in many Asian countries. In India every english movie in theaters comes with subtitles.

I'll take a stab at it
>best girl
Joi ;_;
>best scene
Loved the final fight by the seawall
>2nd best scene
Probably the sync up scene, it was beautifully done, and very unique
>best line
Sometimes you love someone by being a stranger
>2049 or Braderunnah
I'd go Blade Runner for atmosphere, 2049 for story
>most underutilized actor (olmos, ford or batista?)
Ford was great, but I think he was utilized perfectly. Bautista wins this round
>which was better void kampf test or base line test
I liked the voight-kampf test, it felt more personal for whatever reason

>2049 or Braderunnah
Braderunnah, easy. And I'm surprised so many people are saying the contrary.

>>best girl

2049

>>most underutilized actor (olmos, ford or batista?)
I don't think Robin Wright really did that much. Of-course I have a crush on Mackenzie Davis' character too.

>>which was better void kampf test or base line test
2nd one is more cinematic

yeah but the subtitles are obviously spanish

To be fair if it was a choice between a qt holographic girl and a ugly whore I would choose the holographic girl and just masturbate to her naked often

Waifufag, obviously.

>CCCP themed whores
god Iloe this movie

1982 was so boring. I was waiting for it to end.

Razorfist is such a faggot.
youtu.be/ES6jTsZ4NQs

Tyrell got so far with the replicant technology because of J.F. Sebastian, but Wallace doesn't have a Sebastian

Yeah that was great. For some reason the glitchy Elvis made me feel really fucking tense

>Were is he
such a great line. Wonder if the fact she not a native english speaker helped with the strain in the voice.

HOLY FUCK
I thought that was an ass for a second...

>best girl

Ehh, the original

Probably Bautista
>which was better void kampf test or base line test
CELLS INTERLINKED was great and real clever, but part of it was being a riff in the Void Kampf to be honest

one of us

Scene of pic related WHEN

Ive only seen it twice but the entire movie, scene after scene, just feels like a real classic to me. You can call it cold and dry, but its just so unforgettable. It feels pitch perfect in its own way. I cant wait to see this thing again but i cant justify a third trip to the theater.

Can I?

PROSTITUTE-CHAN IS CUTE!

The Vegas sequence also reminded me of fallout vegas

If you like this movie then you are a nu male

I was disappointed that there wasn't an asian cook in the movie to tell me what K was

Why is such obvious shilling allowed? Nobody actually thinks the movie is this good, right?

I dont know. I think 2049 is objectively better art.
but braderunnah had the TECHNOIR theme done perfectly and much better dialogue. way more memorable lines. setting was a equal in both even with one imitating another, because 2049 fleshed it out even more but lost a bit of the hollywood glam in the original. no neon light umbrellas.
>honestly the soundtrack is what puts bladerunner over 2049 for me
there is no contest. and the only OST's I got on my comp are the vangelis and interstellar hans zimmer.

>best girl
pure isolated quebec bubble girl

olmos

void kampf was more cyber punk but base line was more intense
