One thing doesn't add up...was K a replicant or not?

One thing doesn't add up...was K a replicant or not?

just like the original movie.

no.

There's no such thing as replicants. They are all human.

Just a term to dehumanise the bioengineered humans into slavery.

no you dumbass, pay attention

WATASHITACHI WA NINGEN DAAAAA

This is the only correct Blade Runner take I've seen on this board.

There are some serious hints that he's a hologram in the movie.

yes, he was a copy of the real child meant to be a distraction

If Wallace got Rachel's bones and was able to recreate her
How hard would it be to figure out how she got pregnant ?
He has all the info he needs. Why does he need the baby?
Hell the Bubble Girl is a terrible replicant anyway ...she has to live in a bubble

/Blade Runner threads forever.

Actually everyone in the movie was a replicant. They implied that the black out was caused by a virus that infected everyone
Except for the girl in the bubble , she was still human
That's why Wallace wanted to find her

he doesn't have her full DNA to clone her. He just knows enough about her to make a Nexus 9 version of her

He's a real human bean.

In fact she probably doesn't actually have to live in a bubble.

Precisely, exactly this.
Notice how we never actually see the process of a replicant being made. The closest we came to was the weird flypaper drop in this movie, but the actual process of the replicant being bioengineered is never shown, very intentionally.
They're people.

This series I could really see getting the Hollywood treatment. It could easily be translated into a 2-hour film and could be some of the best sci-fi in recent years.

That's why I think Deckard was a replicant as well, and why Wallace needed him.
Wallace even says that he basically has half of what he needs to create replicants capable of reproducing.

Makes sense, especially with Wallace speech of how we became too much pussies to use slaves again

its true

It's true. All of it.

replicant male = narcissist
replicant female = borderline

This is the best post I've read on Sup Forums in the last years. Bravo!

So were they biologically made to be infertile before or after the slavery?

In the first movie we see the chinese dude, Chew making their eyes. And JF Sebastian created/designed their brains/neurology.
I have a feeling in the world of BR that human cloning is illegal and the get-around is synthetic humans.
They're knock-off humans. Which is why they're infertile. Because no-one was ever able to synthetically reproduce that function, until the Nexus 6.

fuck off moron
