well, they aren't the same kind insofar as they are "different" tribes. Language-groups somewhat help divide them up into different peoples, then into smaller tribes.

I had to take a mandatory course called Race & Racism when I was going through college. On the very first day of class, the teacher had everyone present themselves by their ethnicity and oh what a wonderful rainbow it was: Pakistani-Canadian, Armenian-Canadian, Lebanese-Canadian, French-Canadian, and on and on it went until it was my turn.

I'll never forget how the teacher pursed her lips, tilted her head to the side and turned her chin up,

Man I always here free uni but it's even better than that. My band paid me almost $1k a month when I was enrolled for living expenses. I think it's closer to $1.5k a month if you have a kid too. The only people I've met that were over 50% native were the ones on my reserve and I'd be damn surprised if more than 1 even made it to college/uni per year. I've seen the kids' test scores and the majority of highschoolers score around a grade 3 level.

The situation is so bad up there. The Inuit woman have figured out that they can get like $300 a month from the gov for each kid they have, so they all have like 5 kids so they can just live off that and get drunk every day. Then they have their grandparents raise their kids. The kids are pieces of shit who just sleep all day (I don't know what's up with Inuit but all they want to do is sleep).
