Twisted Toyfare Theater Storytime

Hi Sup Forums, this is my first Storytime. Growing up I was a huge fan of Wizard Magazine's Twisted Toyfare Theater. Their largely the reason I got into comics.

While I own most of the printed issues, I don't know how to scan images onto the Internet. Luckily was able to find some of the better stories online.

Enjoy!

Thanks user!

Where's his orange chair?

Neat
Have a bump

I've never read this before, but this seems pretty good so far.
When was it made?

Nvm I can prolly guess at the "when".

90s Wizard magazine.

That's all for "Hello Kitty"

Coming up next, "Up and Adamantium"

Early 1990s-Early 2010s. I prefer their later stories.

90s?
But it just referenced a song from like 2004 earlier.

...

>alba

Remember when that was the worst thing about FF movies?

...

Did they ever collect these or are there just the regular scans?

This perfectly sums up Wolverine's role in the X-Men.

...

Their are collections. You can buy them on Amazon.

I got mine at comic book store, but I doubt they sell them anymore.

...

...

...

That's all for "Up and Adamantium"

Coming up next: "Crisis on Infinitive Megovilles"

That "for teens" line cracks me up.
Do you have any of the banned stories with DC characters?

Thanks user, these are really rather enjoyable.

I should note that Megos refers to the fact that the action figures used here were made by the Mego Corporation.

...

This is a work of art.
One day Imma print this and frame it.

Their are some continuity jokes here, but I think its enjoyable regardless.

Jews Gone Wild is still my favorite TTT joke.

But I'm Jewish, so I'm biased.

If you're wondering what the deal with Pumpkin-Batman is DC threatened to sue TTT for using its characters.

As a result the early stories that had them weren't added into collections, and knockoffs of those characters would be used in the future.

>no they're just southren.

...

Afro universe is best universe.

This was the first time I heard of Bendis. Its insane how big he ended up becoming.

...

R.I.P Bendis

That's all for "Crisis on Infinitive Megovilles"

Coming up next: "Clean and Super (Part 1)"

those two middle captain america panels have me dying kek

I hear Sup Forums doesn't care for Dark Horse's work on manga production.
Idk enough about it though so I can't tell ya if Dark Horse does a good job or not.

Afro Universe is reference to a previous TTT story that sorta spoofed Saturday Night Fever

Cool.
Is most of this able to be found online?
Either download or read online I'd be interested in the whole shebang or whatever I can get my greedy hands on.

>Alan Moore fighting Oscar Wilde
best part.

...

...

...

Their a bit tricky to fine, and I'm still looking for a few of them.

...

>A Fred Flintstone PEZ dispenser is one of the characters
Jesus Christ this shouldn't be this funny.

You guys are going to hate me. but I've never been able to find Part 2 of this story online. Sorry.

Here is the end though: ic.pics.livejournal.com/marienomad/31953364/4103/4103_640.jpg

Coming up next: "Halloween at Castle Doom"

This an older TTT story. You can tell because the humor is cruder, and DC characters appear.

...

Fun Fact: The DC characters would be replaced with Marvel characters when this story was added to the collection.

...

...

It always baffled me how TTT went from doing loads of issues based on actual stuff happening in comics to being basically Robot Chicken: The Comic. That 300 parody set during the Console Wars seemed so out of place in a toy magazine.

Oh god, Macarena jokes.

That's all 4 now, I gotta take a break. If this thread isn't archived I'll continue.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks much, Toyfare bro. I missed being able to read TTT.

Alright I'm back. Anyone still intrested in more stories?

Bring on the fun!

>that Daredevil

Jew Time

Thanks 4 reading.

Coming up next: IF THIS BE MY ROAST

...

...

...

...

>Kang's schedule
fucking kek

...

>I prefer their later stories.
Me too. However, I haven't been able to read most of their final years because they're hard to find.

There is probably a lesson to be learned here about pop-culture jokes not aging well.

...

Thanks 4 reading.

Coming up next: Everything Must Go

I never understood why Lizard and Green Goblin were the ONLY Marvel villains to get Mego figures. Why them of all people?

...

...

...

...

...

Sorry 4 the crookedness.

Thanks 4 reading.

Coming up next: That '70s Twisted Toyfare Theater

...

...

...

...

I wonder what would have happened if Mego had agreed to do that Star Wars toy license when they had the chance.

...

> That ending

Man, that really is dark
