Godzilla Comic Marathon 2017 - #1

Over a year ago I marathoned every Godzilla comic ever, since then IDW finished Rulers Of Earth and published two more miniseries, plus I discovered a few obscure Godzilla comics I'd never seen.

So now you've read your Wednesday releases and/or are mourning the lack of any Godzilla news from IDW, satisfy your hunger with a kaiju-sized marathon of EVERY GODZILLA COMIC PUT TO PRINT

We start at the beginning, with this promotional comic for the US release of Godzilla vs Megalon

>every Godzilla comic ever made
You are a madman, A MADMAN!

Please, continue.

Yay.

Now we enter Marvel's run, the longest running Godzilla series until Rulers Of Earth edged it out by one issue

I'm prepared to go down that rabbit hole

Some great action-packed art by Herb Trimpe

AWWWWWWW yeah!
It's hard t find a story where Dugan isn't awesome.

There was a different artist team for these next two issues, but I think they maintained Trimpe's style very well.

This issue also sets up the first monster vs monster tussle of the series

Fuck your magic space bullshit, Godzilla's here

>the champions

Ah yes, the only team that's a bigger joke than the GLA. The only reason I even remember this team is because one of Spiderman's books had a postmortem story to wrap things up after they got canceled.

Trimpe came back as the main artist for the rest of the series starting with this issue
