Tfw the Brad Pitt cut is the kitschy bubblegum rainbow normie version

>tfw the Brad Pitt cut is the kitschy bubblegum rainbow normie version
>tfw the Cate Blanchette version is far superior
>tfw ruminations on the nature of existence, time, death and suffering interspersed throughout cosmic scenes of primordial beauty and desolation

I was really looking forward to this, and watched the longer cut. It was meh. Really meh.

Like meeeeeh. Malick is just meh. And this is like the 4th film of this that I've seen.

The only one I really liked is The Thin Red Line.

>not smoking a fat ass blunt while watching it
>not literally touching the infinite in the comfort of your own home

Never gonna make it.

The pleb filter works lads.

>tfw plebs won't get the symbolism of this shot

>the longer cut.
how much longer is it?

vagoo with teeth symbolizing innocence in the womb?

>I need drugs to be able to feel something
Sad!

God/nature/time as the beautiful devourer of its children.

Blanchette cut is an hour and a half, so like almost twice as long. Different music and mood too, a lot darker

Wait why does Sup Forums hate the Pitt cut?

Nothing wrong with it but the longer cut is definitely the one with more meat on its bones

Thanks!

it's just vagina dentatta

Pleb detected.

bvS is a better pleb filter, honestly.

>no HDR10 release

sorry chrisfag, the IMAX experience is better

>no British narrator
DROPPED

How do I see this? Is it coming to blu-ray anytime soon? Criterion maybe?

It's out on blu ray.
see

looks like cock going into pussy

But...that's what drugs are for, you feel something else.

While I like nearly all Malick's films, except To the Wonder, The Thin Red Line really is his masterpiece. Days of Heaven and The Tree of Life come in at a close second. Nothing wrong with disliking his films. They're not for everyone. However, I suggest returning to them in like 5 or 10 years and see what you think of them then. I've also yet to see Voyage of Time. Looking forward to it.

duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudeeeee...LMAOOOOO

longer cut is about twice as long
while I enjoyed it I could have done with a more focused creation story rather than have it bloated with tree of life outtakes

>smoking a fat ass blunt
>touching the infinite

I thought the op made it clear this isn't a pleb thread
