I finally saw Get Out. I was expecting SJW trash from the descriptions and trailers, but found it to be more of an interesting take on how white people think blacks are "hip" today.

The movie is a fucking shit that only Takes advantage of sjw.

>'hey Sup Forums, today i saw this well received movie hoping to hate it for stupid meme politics reasons but instead I enjoyed it because it was a good movie. stay tuned for the deeply interesting for everyone to hear about mental gymnastics I'm performing to make this fit with my bullshit posturing I perform for the benefit of my image on a Burmese tapestry forum

Imagine living like this

this

i'm black and this shit movie directly panders to sjws who think theres a white class literally so envious of blacks they'll mind swap with them to exploit them for...WE WUZ tier reasoning

You are to gain more by fighting than by surrendering, Jamal. Do not let wh*Toid rhetoric fool you.

Jordan Peele had politics in mind when he made it. What kind of a pathetic heel of a human do you have to be to be bothered by someone reacting politically to political art, but not bothered by the political art itself?

The TSA friend was the most enjoyable thing about it

TSA friend was hilarious.

Also, they didn't just want black bodies because black is "hip" these days. They also took into account the perceived superior athletic prowess.

The movie was aimed at taking a shot at genteel Liberal racism using interracial relationships to validate their legacy of class oppression.

It’s making fun of White Liberals so that they don’t even know they’re being made fun of. Fucking ingenious.

>surrendering
>Jamal

I don't enjoy being misrepresented by jews and hanging around self conscious overly polite white people trying not to be seen as racists

Shut up pleb.

I saw it out of curiousity

Its a movie made by a black person who's never hung out with black people, for black people who have never hung out with white people

My friends wanted to see it in theaters, I'm so glad I convinced them otherwise, there are literally parts when it was obviously meant to elicit an outburst from the black audience members

>"SHEEIT THAT WHITE BITCH CRAZY"

Yes, like how the grandpa is out doing laps in the middle of the night.

>take on how white people think blacks are hip
>shitting on white people
>not SJW
I swear lads, we have gotten to an age where SJW's don't even realize their SJW's. Its a scary thought

shut up jew

why does he have to specify that, isn't it obvious? most normies think black senpaitachi are cool, fuckin autistic retard

If I want to watch niggers acting like niggers I'll watch a policing show.

It was honestly a 10/10 movie. I really thought it was going to be a meme film but its really great all the way around. The microagressions from everyone then the 'twist' or reveal was great and scary. I also thought it was funny that in the originally planned ending that the mc was going to be arrested though the currebt one is better because that was one hell of a trip.

No it's the same negro delusion as Black Panther: an echo chamber telling each other that whites fined them desirable.

Some will naturally like black people , but jew media is forcing it in a "you hate gays because you're secretly gay".

>you hate gays because you're secretly gay
That's true though

Not white eople, op.
Jews.

Nice work telling us you didn't watch the film.

Fuck off booyega

>movie goes out its way to shit on SJWs and the left
>Sup Forums retards bitch about a SJW/black propaganda film

It's not about 'the left'. It's about how white people are racists, even the nice ones who talk about how much they like black people/culture.

>It's about how white people are racists
No.
>even the nice ones who talk about how much they like black people/culture.
Confirmed for not watching the movie. The line "I would've voted for Obama for a third term" should've been a clear clue to you. Did that go over your heard?

Yes, they're supposed to be an outwardly friendly contrast to the racist cop we see earlier in the movie, so they mention how much they like black people, including Obama and Tiger Woods. That doesn't invalidate my point.

Even Peele said its about the left pretending racism and bigotry dont exist when they're some of the worst offenders. The character of the brother versus his family was meta

None of the villains of the movie hate black people though. The villains are white liberals. The dad isn't lying when he said he voted for Obama.

i didn't think it was that interesting, it's not a film I would recommend to anyone or ever watch again.
Nothing about it "scared" me, and the family were just unreal in their behavior.
Maybe if they turned out to be insectoids that burst out of their skin in the last act I would have enjoyed it more

Is this movie worth watching even if you kind of know the plot?

>racist cop
That cop is literally the least racist person in the entire film.

Um i don't think it's saying it's happening today...it's more like a reversed racism nightmare.
It began nicely, good tension, but at some point it was almost too much, like a dark snl skit. And then, turning it into horror is just a little ridiculous.
As a director though, the guy has skills.

>the racist cop we see earlier in the movie
Proof he was racist in the movie? He was doing his job. The character froze because he was afraid of a potential racist but his girlfriend intervened before anything could really happen.

>mention how much they like black people, including Obama and Tiger Woods
They weren't being nice. This was more or less director commentary of how some conversations liberal whites have with black people. There are two very good interviews with the cast and crew that get into the scene.

I thought it was a good take on how some blacks see white liberals.

hit a little too close to home for you did it?

Yes, my family swaps bodies at all of our get togethers

IIRC the cop was asking mc to present a license without being charged anything, and then when girlfriend intervened he backed off. that suggests racial prejudice.
>inb4 AM I BEING DETAINED???

>inb4 AM I BEING DETAINED???
"I do not consent!"

The movie plays with the idea but it is not implied racial prejudice.

The issue I had was the believablility of motivation was hard because of the clash in messages and tone (nothing to do with the science being believable, don't care about that).

They are liberals that think they're doing good yet they do this while kidnapping black people and condemning their psyches to eternal hell pits in their own heads? I've seen the "blind progressives" thing thrown around a lot and in one breathe movie seems to have that view "i would have vote for obama a THIRD time if I could!" but then in the next breathe shows they only want black bodies because they are.... stronger? In fashion?(what does that even mean, being black would be way harder than being white, especially where they live).

If they just wanted stronger more youthful bodies they could just body snatch strong white people, or hispanic people, or asian people. It's like the movie wants to have a pertinent message about race yet ends up fetishiszing black people just saying "these white people want black bodies" and one could argue it was meant to parody how the media fetishises black people (they're so strong, good lovers, have great rhythm) but it ends up just fetishizing them, and without a wink. The villian who isn't racially motivated (blind guy) even fetishizes black people by saying "some want you because you're stronger"....

really makes you think

>If they just wanted stronger more youthful bodies they could just body snatch strong white people
It was a play about the media being obsessed with black people because its cool these days. The asian character sums this up with one line. You're taking it way too far.

oh and the blind guy's motivation was fucking stupid as well. They didn't keep the black person's consciousness when switching so he would just have his physical eyes but not his "eye" as he seemed to claim he wanted. I guess this could just be explained away with "he's crazy" which frankly, feels fucking lazy, especially when this pertains to every member of a massive extended family, just stretches the believability even thinner.

in addition the "wrongly progressive" theme is ruined with the painfully obvious allusion to slavery when they are bidding on the main character. Also why did the grandmother and grandfather act so creepily? It's like they were writing the white people in black bodies and they were like "haha we're gonna have them act WHITE by speaking articulately!" then realized it would be insulting to black people if that were the sole giveaway, so they had to make them creepy by smiling at the end of every sentence as well.

this movie was clearly trying to use extremes and metaphors to hold a mirror up to our current society, but ultimately fails in my opinion because too many of the elements ultimately clash. And as a white dude frankly its hard to look at this mirror in a reflective way when every black character is a victim and every white character is a maniac. Really thought the son was gonna realize this was wrong and help the black dude out but nope, just another crazy white wrongly progressive liberal who's idea of being progressive is kidnapping black people because they want to be them but while not have anything to do with black culture and just want their strong bodies or something. Like the motivation is just so cluttered and unbelievable. And believability with motivation is important if your movie is supposed to have some sort of social message.

it is suggested but ultimately there's no telling for sure whether or not the cop was influenced by racial prejudice. how could one determine such a thing?

passing a entire family off as representative of the media is a stretch and shit

>but then in the next breathe shows they only want black bodies because they are....
You really don't get it?
You know how BBC/Blacked porn threads are spammed? Think from the perspective of the people posting those threads if they weren't just trolling.
As if they genuinely believe the BBC meme and such.
Now remember that thought process and put it in context of the film. If Blacked was real, wouldn't you want to be black too? From the perspective of the antagonists, Blacked and the BBC meme is true and they have the ability to become it.

>It was a play about the media being obsessed with black people because its cool these days. The asian character sums this up with one line. You're taking it way too far.
No he's not. He understands what Jordan Peele was going for better than you do.

That was kind of the point of the scene.

>using copypasta instead of watching the film

but that obsessions and fetishizing isn't shown to be silly or without merit. The guy fucks a hot white girl, is a killing machine, has an eye for photography and in the end he's told without a wink to the audience people want to be black because they're stronger. It doesn't have that *wink* we're making fun of the medias obsession and fetishization of black people. It just does it exactly that

he wanted his "eye" in the sense that he wanted his perspective, the perspective of a hip young ideal african american.

Except Peele says the opposite in interviews

I've seen it, I wrote that "copypasta"

refute some of the garbage mentioned. The blind guy who wants his "eye"? what the fuck? consciousness clearly doesn't transfer.

The grandparents acting creepy for no reason? c'mon this shit is stupid

I should know considering I just explained it.

but the consciousness is clearly replaced with the old white guy's. He wouldn't see the perspective of a young hip ideal african american because that person wouldnt be in his head anymore. stupid as fuck motivation

>What kind of a pathetic heel of a human
a liberal american millenial

>“For while when we had a black president, we were living in this post-racial lie,” he added. “The idea of, ‘We’re past it – we’re past it all!’ For me, and for many people out there – as all black people know – there’s racism. I experience it on an everyday basis. This movie was meant to reveal that there’s this monster of racism lurking underneath some of these seemingly innocent conversations and situations.”
latimes.com/entertainment/la-et-get-out-race-horror-sundance-jordan-peele-1485477812-htmlstory.html

I think it was a more symbolic thing. I agree, I would consider that a narrative flaw.

Or you know he could just be looking to verify his identity like any regular civil servant.
The idea that liberals push that needing to present ID to officers or for voting is racist is completely retarded.

literally comes down to this.

I get it and thats a funny way to put it, but it doesn't stop the motivation from feeling any less cluttered and wish-washy. So being overly progressive and concerned for black people is a front for... wanting to body snatch them then going back to living their normal lives just with black bodies? Are they retarded?
They seemed like reasonable people otherwise. I don't know in terms of villain motivation, it was asking a lot in terms of brain-turn-off

but he wasn't driving, right? and if it was so important, why did the cop back down after white girlfriend told him off?
even if it wasn't racist you could consider it an abuse of power.

How does that contradict the idea of being black is hip? Especially after the Asian guy's comment?

>make Get Out
>Jews churn out nothing but rave reviews with their lugenpresse Fake News machine
>Jordan Peele proclaimed most important person ever
>months pass
>now the coon is doing Lyft commercials with no speaking role
LOL
LOL
LOL
BTFO NIGGER

...

He clearly says that the film is about the racism black people experience in daily conversation. You said it was about something else. The director's own words disagree with you.

The Get Out critic understands Jordan Peele's intentions better than you do.

>be white in 80s
>get body switched with black body
>be faster and stronger
>dies at age 40 because blacks are more susceptible to diseases
Biggest plothole of the movie

Yeah the cop was being a bit of a dick but jumping from that to full blown racism is something that only a racist person would try to come up with.

>The guy fucks a hot white girl
Yes that is what the film is criticising.
> is a killing machine
I think every one of his kills is a sneak attack, and he botched the first one. That's not a killing machine, dumbass. That's someone backed into a corner needing to kill to escape.
>has an eye for photography
Nothing to do with race
>and in the end he's told without a wink to the audience people want to be black because they're stronger.
You are literally retarded. You don't have the ability to separate the characters in a film from the writers beliefs. You are THAT dumb. You are so stupid, in fact, even if it was satirized directly you still wouldn't realize and would still be making this same argument.
The blind guy would have the black perspective via the treatment he would get from being black. He would have an entirely new perspective because he would have first hand experience of how people treat you because your outward appearance is different despite being the same person.
>So being overly progressive and concerned for black people is a front for... wanting to body snatch them then
It's not really a front if they are looking out for their own self interests and beliefs. If they successfully switch, they are essentially just complimenting themselves.
When you take the statement "Black people are stronger" they have different subtext coming from a white person and coming from a black person.
>going back to living their normal lives just with black bodies? Are they retarded?
Don't forget they are also old. So they get all the benefits of experience ( and connections for those in the know ) but with none of the drawbacks of age. And then there is the whole affirmative action aspect.

armond white calling him "sambo charicature" was utterly hilarious

but given the insidious nature of most racism it is not a stretch of the imagination to think there could have been racial prejudice. that's the feeling the film is going for anyways, naturally it is exaggerated for heightened tension.

solid masterpost

Racial prejudice=/=racism
This is one things leftists will never agree understand or agree with.

>You are literally retarded. You don't have the ability to separate the characters in a film from the writers beliefs. You are THAT dumb. You are so stupid, in fact, even if it was satirized directly you still wouldn't realize and would still be making this same argument.
Yes, I'm sure Jordan Peele putting words into a white man's mouth about how much more Aryan black people are than him isn't racial wish fulfilment at all. White people talk about that shit all the time.

>white liberals will hijack blacks to speak and act through them

Honestly, pretty redpilled

But is "racism" not prejudice? How are the two different user?

You really are that stupid.
Fuck me, you are a dumb cunt.
Read a book nigger. And make sure it's non-fiction so you don't mistake fantasy for reality.

Maybe I should go read some Ayn Rand and pretend like her shitty characters totally aren't speaking for her, too.

>Yes that is what the film is criticising
perhaps from the perspective of fetishizing black men, the black guy still gets the hot white girl. The issue is that both sides get what they want. This theme falls flat

>he isn't a killing machine
he massacres everyone in that house. I'm not saying he's an unstoppable mary-sue, but he doesnt do much to negate the "fetishized" theme of "they're so strong". Do you see where I'm coming from? Seems odd to have these people be a satirical portrayal of the fetishizing of black people, then in the next scene have your black protagonist murder all of his enemies. I don't think he should have died or been more hurt or something, its just an inherent issue with setup. The finale makes it so that there is no "wink". He IS a strong badass black guy that they would want to be.

>You are literally retarded. You don't have the ability to separate the characters in a film from the writers beliefs. You are THAT dumb. You are so stupid, in fact, even if it was satirized directly you still wouldn't realize and would still be making this same argument.
come now, there's no need to get violent. Like i said earlier, no wink is there, I'm only left with a confused message about how they were right for fetishizing this guy but fetishizing is also bad

>The blind guy would have the black perspective via the treatment he would get from being black. He would have an entirely new perspective because he would have first hand experience of how people treat you because your outward appearance is different despite being the same person.

no where is this stated or even implied. He simply said he wanted his "eye" in reference to his photography. There is no mentioned of a black perspective, in fact he makes it very clear that his choice has literally nothing to do with his race and nowhere does it mention it has anything to do with how people perceive him

also why do old wealthy people need affirmative action?
stop samefagging

Jordan Peele is the one doing Lyft commercials with no speaking part

Racism is the active discrimination of races.
Racial prejudice is the proactive discrimination of races.
You are always either one or the other whether you realize it or not.

nigger, what the fuck are you talking about?

Why are the mulattos always the angriest ones about race?

I just described the underlying plot of the entire movie.

>The issue is that both sides get what they want.
Neither of them got what they want.
The girl was actually an allegory for white girls who get black boyfriends because they are black, trophy boyfriends essentially.
The girl was using the protagonist for his body, the same way said white girls are using black guys for their body. She didn't get what she wants because he got away. The protagonist did not get what he wanted, because he is human and wanted a companion. He didn't want her just because she was white. He loved her. She was using him. Neither got what they wanted from the relationship.
>but he doesnt do much to negate the "fetishized" theme of "they're so strong".
Don't make me watch the film again to break this shit down. He used weapons and sneak attacks. He didn't beat anyone in a straight fight.
>He IS a strong badass black guy that they would want to be.
Did you even watch the film? He's literally limping at the end.Yeah the ending could have easily been done without killing the antagonists but it's hardly badass.
>He simply said he wanted his "eye" in reference to his photography.
>There is no mentioned of a black perspective
>also why do old wealthy people need affirmative action?
Oh god you are really a brainlet.
Seriously man read books or something. Take English courses.

no you didn't, you said two sentences that are nearly identical except for one semantical difference and overall haven't clarified jack shit.
What the fuck is the difference between "active" and "proactive" discrimination and what has it got to do with your interpretation of the films plot?

>whites adhere to the one drop rule
>you will never be considered even half-white only black
>blacks denounce you for the same reasons

Mulattoes have no identity, they are neither black nor white, a bastard abomination unto the racial spectrum.

this. furthermore it is society that ultimately decides what race you are (society is not always correct)

>a bastard abomination unto the racial spectrum.

so americans?

oh, makes no sense since key and peele was frequently very funny and superior to get out

Essentially, yes.

>What the fuck is the difference between "active" and "proactive" discrimination and what has it got to do with your interpretation of the films plot?

Jesus Christ, do black people actually pity themselves when white girls sleep with them? The victim complex niggers wear on their sleeve has become legitimately fucking insane.

>this is what racist projecting white people actually believe
We'll talk mad shit about their lightskin ass but we acknowledge them as black.
It's when we perceive them as believing that they are better than us darkskin/fullblooded negros ( which they do) that is when we go from banter to genuine anger.

This is probably the worst attempt at pretending to be black I've ever seen on this website.

Not any different than when women cry that a guy is just using them for sex.
Or when a guy cries that a woman was just using him for his money.
The victim complex Sup Forums wears on their sleeve has become legitimately fucking insane.

I mean shame on me for expecting Sup Forums posters to have any idea what the fuck they're talking about
