>protagonist shoots/throws something
>antagonist catches it
>it was actually an explosive
Or
>protagonist throws/shoots something
>"you missed"
>it comes back like a boomerang and hits them in the back
>"no I didn't"
Protagonist shoots/throws something
Why are you describing every sharpshooter/speedster encounter ever recorded.
>protagonist throws/shoots something
>"you missed"
>"Did I?"
You forgot the ever popular
>protagonist throws/shoots something straight at the bad guy
>"you missed"/"I'm too fast to hit"/Passes right through them
>"no I didn't"
>Turn around to see that there was a switch/something behind him that he hit instead
>"yeah, you did"
Fucking Bullseye man
>We're not too different, you and I.
>ITS YOU WHO'S IN, GOBBY, INSANE!
...
>Pretend to like my son's girlfriend
>Actually think she's a slut

>Antagonist catches it and then throws it back
>Protag tosses something at Antag
>Misses
>Antag cracks a joke and throws something back at Protag
>Protag catches it and throws it back at Antag
>hits him in the face
>Protagonist shoots/throws something
>Misses
>Antagonist laughs so hard he dies of cardiac arrest
>Antagonist gets hit by something
>Protagonist threw it before he even entered the room
Or a more downplayed/realistic approach
>Protagonist misses
>Antagonist laughs
>Protagonist uses the opportunity of their adversary's laughing to catch them off guard.
>Protagonist throws something
>Antagonist catches it
>It wasn't supposed to hit him, it was just a distraction so the protagonist could do his actual attack
I'm DYING, Barry!
>protagonist shoots/throws something
>antagonist catches it
>protagonist just shoots/throws again
>antagonist throws caught projectile at second projectile to deflect it in front of protagonist face
>before protagonist has finished reloading and can shoot a third time, antagonist has already leaped at him and is aiming his weapon at point-blank range
Does it count when the antagonist desperately WANTS the hero and himself to be the same?
OP would probably say yes, so yes
That's hype. What's it from?
>protagonist shoots/throws something
>protagonist died in the very next panel
>Crimson king just works.
>antagonist shoots a gun
>completely misses or lightly grazes shoulder
>because "think of the children"
>every child grows up thinking guns aren't dangerous at all because nobody gets hurt from them
>gun protagonist shoots bullet at sword protagonist who cuts the bullet enough times to hit multiple targets
closest thing i could find right now
youtu.be
>gun protagonist shoots sword protagonist like a bullet so he can stab the antagonist harder
>>Protagonist throws a projectile
>>Antagonist catches it
>>Projectile explodes in antagonist face
>>Smoke clears, Antagonist has no visible damage
>>Antagonist gives death stare to protagonist, protag knows he just fucked up
>Explosion also had poison gas emitted
>Antagonist falls down
>>Gets back up again
>>Tells the protagonist "Thanks for the nap"
>>Get ready to beat the shit out of the protagonist
Huh that was cut from the tv version. Knew something was off on that scene.
>Someone fires explosive
>Protag catches it
>tosses it away because not retarded
Thank you District 9.
...
Bazett's fight in Prisma Illya was a delight, I really wish they focused more in their actual plot and action scenes rather than Loli fanservice,
Read the superior manga
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
>smoke clears, antagonist has no visible damage
>protagonist has long since escaped
Honor is for AFTER the winning.
>protagonist throws/shoots something
>"you missed"
>it comes back like a boomerang and hits them in the back
>that crossover where Hawkeye does this to Flash only for him to catch it and say "I deal with a boomerang guy back home"
>These cliches are mentioned in-story
>Protag gets a trickshot out
>It bounces of walls and hit antagonist
...
i find that hilarious
Do you think it's better if they mention these cliches, only to use a different one that they never brought up?
>Bad guy starts shooting at Superman knockoff
>Superman knockoff slowly walks toward the bad guy, smiling evilly as the bullets bounce off
>Superman knockoff walks right up to gun which is at mouth level
>Superman knockoff starts felating the gun
>Bad guy desperately empties rest of the gun until it clicks
>Superman knockoff steps back
>Lets bullets drip out of his mouth as he smiles
>baddie has the MacGuffin
>"HAND IT OVER, SCUMBALL"
>baddie throws it off a cliff
>"Oops how silly of me"
>Characters try to defuse an explosive
>They always shut it down when it's one second away from detonating
>They always have the exact same "PHEW THAT SURE WAS CLOSE" reaction
...
I really need to watch this show.
>protag actually has a sidekick hiding in the shadows
>downed antagonist is taken advantage by executing the protag's plan
>antagonist gets a blade by his neck
>protag looks him in the eye
>we're not so different, you and I
It really bothered me in Batman v Superman that Supes catches the kryptonite bomb then a few minutes later when he recovers he just runs straight through another one without attempting to dodge.
>protagonist uses joke move
>team berates them for thinking it'll work
>villain actually did get distracted and protag gets a good shot in
that last sexy reverse harem jutsu was pretty funny
>It smells like...victory.
>have a battle going for two years irl
>entirely made up of action scenes and plot twists
>throw in a gag move at the last second
I will never understand this series
>Character defuses explosive with lots of time left
>Timer starts up again a few seconds later
My sides.
That being said, it always struck me as rather weird how the bad guys never let go of their weapons when that happens, instead of holding onto it and getting killed. Must be shock for seeing the good guy doing that or something.
>Protag and group downed by Antagonist
>Protag just starts dancing in hopes to distract antagonist
>It works
>Team mates shoot him
I have and even tho I loved the Shirou Arc now we're back to Loli Fanservice which is less than ideal to me.
>"you missed"
>"no I didn't"
I hate this so goddamn much.
wh-what?
If you're going to frogpost, just use a frog.
...
>Villain actually legitimately means this as they have similar flaws and ambitions to the hero, who is guilty of crimes of a similar magnitude
>protagonist shoots projectile
>"You missed"
>"Yeah, I'm new at this :c"
What is this? A general Hawkeye thread?
youtube.com
relevant?
my fucking sides
...
Does the fact that this shitpost/meme exist mean Marvel succeeded?
Is that Colonel Sanders? Is there KFC in space?
Why wouldn't there be KFC in space?
>DaS1poise.png
>Antagonist is chasing down protagonist after winning the fight
>Protag hinds behind something while the Antag monologues in his search
>Antag sees the boots of the protag, or the tip of his headgear from under or over the obstacle
>A ha! Gotcha!
>the boots are by themselves, or the headpiece is resting a top a broomstick
>Joke character uses a joke move
>It turns out to be the most powerful move there is
>High level fighters
What's this from?
>whyboner.png
Reminds me of Spring Breakers where a guy sucked a girl's gun-dick because she made him, and would shoot him otherwise. It wasn't desperate, nervous, shaky lip action either- he onew what he was doing.
I believe it's from Lisa.
wow that was great, no, I was thinking of a scene in Big Trouble In Little China were Jack kills Lo Pan.
>that one Wonderella strip where it's explained why they do this
>it's on purpose
>told she has to wait around doing nothing until the last second
>"Do you believe love can bloom on the battlefield?"
>Protagonist throws a projectile
>Antagonist catches it
>Projectile explodes in antagonist face
>Smoke clears, Antagonist has no visible damage
>Antagonist gives death stare to protagonist, protag knows he just fucked up
>Suddenly Antagonist grabs his own throat
>Protagonist smiles and walks over the antagonists falling body
>Antagonists suddenly stops pretending and grabs the Protagonist collar/cape/unnecessary clothing accessory
>Protagonists slips out from his clothes
>Antagonists teleports behind him and snaps his neck
>It was a Protagonist double all along
>Protagonists is actually watching the entire thing from a roof nearby and activates bomb
>Explosion then the smoke start to clear
>Laser beams shooting out from the smoke destroying the Protagonists roof
>Unharmed antagonists smiles
>It was a dream all along and the Antagonist and Protagonist is the same
