Who is best clone and why is it Rex?

Second for good friends

Who is best Inky and why is it SS?

Third for What is she, /swco/?

Rex is sex
trips confirm

Opinions on Tarkin's CGI?

Seventh for Skybridger

Because trips confirm

The only best clone is a dead clone.

This shot/scene wasn't in the final film right? I don't recall it at all.

it was pretty good CGI, yes there were some problems, but it was really convincing most of the time

Eighth for flat-chested, assless Sa-beanstalk

No.

No it wasn't

...

Horray!

Yeah, it ended up on the cutting room floor somewhere along with many shots from the trailers

Shame because it's a good visual

to be fair, no one has an ass in rebels

Fuck off CIS Scum

Kix is second best clone just cause he's still alive during the ST era

Is this what he means with studying different cultures?

...

According to Ben Mendelsohn who plays Krennic, over 30% of the original scenes were removed or reshot after Disney executives stepped in and called the whole thing a disaster waiting to happen.

The trailers with the cringyworthy "I rebel" line was from very early in production, before almost every scene with dialogue was redone.

no, grand inky is

to be honest I just thought it was the look alike from episode 3

>Clones hate this clanker, find out why in one easy step

The CGI was good and nearly entirely convincing.
The people I went with did not know that it was fake, but they still thought he was kind of creepy, they just couldn't specify why.

I believe that the CGI Tarkin was a very good idea because of all the characters, Tarkin really gains from being somewhat unnaturally creepy.

That's where you're wrong

...

Did the Hailfire ever appear in TCW?

>when the force is with you just right

This is a blue board, user

Why was there uproar for this but Robert Jr and Douglas got a free pass in Ant-Man and Civil War?

Fordo now and forever

Can you make Kanan do the chicken wing?

Because normies hate CGI in Star Wars

Haven't seen Ant-Man but RDJ did look a little off in Civil War. It was good CGI but it looked unconvincing.

I mean sexual exploits are part of culture, so I assume Thrawn fucks a lot.

...

Nope. Neither did Homing Spider droids, SPHA-Ts or NR99s

Wow.

I think he's interesting and an interesting choice to still have around. I'd love it if just for shits and giggles they had Temuera Morrison cameo as Kix and meeting Luke in Episode VIII. Maybe showing up in that casino with the Crimson Corsair.

It could happen. It's just very extremely unlikely. Still I like that with R1 they were happy to add in as many little tidbits as they could.

wrong
youtube.com/watch?v=vdArdpXMSCE&ab_channel=IShadowStalkerZI

Because RDJ and Michael Douglas aren't dead and the work done on them was making the existing actors young as opposed to completely recreating them via CG.

What if he shows up in episode 8 or 9 played by Daniel Logan

Porkins can.

No V-wings either if you want to include things from RotS

Now take out a soldering iron and burn out his eyes!

>yfw Ezra is alive in VIII and Luke has just been living with him on that shitty rock-island.

>The trailers with the cringyworthy "I rebel" line was from very early in production, before almost every scene with dialogue was redone.
That really makes me wonder if the rumors are false and that the original cut was actually lighter then the final cut and Disney actually made it darker.

That's a shame, there are so many interesting designs from the movies that never made it into the show

But keep away the shitty mask.
His character design without the mask is far better.

That's about as chicken as he's gonna go

>>NR99s
They appeared in the movie and in a Zillo beast episode

Because using animated textures to remove wrinkles from an actor's face so they look like themselves, only younger, works better than using an entire 3D model to make one actor look like a different actor. What they did with Tarkin is the same thing they did for Clu in Tron: Legacy.

Well what did you expect.

>Initial Rogue One director Gareth Edwards appears to have taken an unorthodox approach to filming. In an interview with Yahoo! Movies, one of the film’s three editors, Colin Goudie, noted that he began assembling a crude cut of the film in 2014 using nothing more than a story outline, cannibalizing scenes from hundreds of movies like Aliens and War Games, which helped them figure out how to structure a movie.

...

So how is Luke the "Last Jedi" if Kanaan and Ezra were around?

That's amazing articulation for a model that small.

CLU was computer animated?????

...

He didn't say as much as that, at least not unless he clarified his earlier statements

hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/rogue-one-alternate-scenes-ben-mendelsohn-says-enormously-version-exists-959791

Gareth filmed a LOT of shit he knew would never be in the movie just because he thought it was interesting and wanted to see how it looked. A lot of random stuff that marketing later picked up on and ran for the trailers.

io9.gizmodo.com/why-the-rogue-one-trailers-most-iconic-shot-never-appea-1790910745

This MIGHT be why it was so hard to find reliable spoilers? Nobody knew what might be real and what might be Gareth getting the urge to film random crap he knew would never be used.

...Yeah?

I would legitimately be OK with that

Oh, Rey. What are you doing here? I was just stepping out for some fresh air, come back inside and meet my only surviving trainee Ezra Bridger. What you thought I was just alone on this island the whole time? Come on, I'm not some kind of weirdo.

What in the goddamn

theverge.com/2017/1/15/14268850/star-wars-rogue-one-reshoots-disney-gareth-edwards-tony-gilroy

According to Edwards, the ending of the film was also subject to a number of changes. Initially, they had allowed several of the film’s main characters to survive the film, hedging that Disney might not allow for such a dark ending. Disney and Lucasfilm opted to go ahead with the darker overtones, and the film ended up with the entire team getting killed in the final Scarif battle. This all happened before cameras started rolling, so there likely isn’t any cut of the film with Jyn and Cassian flying out to safety.

Some of the reshoots appear to have made the film even darker. While Princess Leia’s cameo was always planned, Darth Vader’s film-stealing scene in which he butchered a slew of Rebel soldiers to try and recover the plans was one of the many scenes that was added as part of the reshoots. According to John Gilroy, the scene had been “conceptualized” late in the filming process, and required the production to bring in a new actor, Daniel Naprous, to play the iconic villain.

Maybe they weren't as of ESB
Maybe they were dead
Maybe they renounced being Jedi
Maybe they became one with the Force
Maybe they left limits of the known galaxy

We don't know

Also no AT-OTs, no UT-ATs, no ISPs...the list goes on. I have a feeling that, had the series not been cancelled, Filoni would've started to include more and more of these as the timeline approached ROTS.

I want a story where after Kix helps the Crimson Corsair find all the old Separatist treasures, he then finds out about Luke and goes to track him down just to tell him about Clone Wars stories about him serving under his Dad

>the rock formation behind Hera is giving a thumbs up too
Poetry or just plain weird?

Why are the bridges always designed so far from the hull?

And why do fighters and bombers never focus fire on these places?

This frustrates me in space battles.

Outside of 1 or 2 things I still really prefer the S1 and S2 character designs

1. they die
2. they aren't considered legit Jedi, since Kanan never made it out of the Padawan stage (except Grinky knighting him in the jedi temple vision counts).
3. he's the last jedi "from a certain point of view".

>grew up on a Tatooine moisture farm
He's probably exactly that kind of weirdo

>mfw just now realizing that Kanan and Ezra are essentially carrying on the soul of Rahm Kota and Starkiller, being jedi that are involved in the formation of the rebellion (one blind and war-weary, one young and cocky with a predilection for the dark side)

Huh

This thing looks like it could go about 10 meters in 1 minute

The Hovertank only appears in RO, right? So seeing as it's not in the OT, and not in TFA either, there's absolutely no chance we'll ever see it or the new troopers again?

Unless they decide to use it in Rebels, I guess.

I figured the Vader slaughter was a late addition. There had been rumors for a while that Vader would a small role with no action scenes, and the way Vader's presence was played up slightly in marketing they probably knew people would be disappointed if there wasn't a big Vader scene.

>never

But Daniel Logan can't age, so he'll always look like a cadet clone

They do. Those rounded structures on Star Destroyers? Those are shield generators. The generators for the shield are on top of the bridge. That means the shields there are particularly powerful. Still we've seen the generators destroyed, and by small fighters too.

There was also an entire episode devoted to a bombing run of the bridge of the Malevolence, Grievous' super ship, to not only destroy it but to take out Grievous himself. Unfortunately the bridge was exceptionally well covered with turrets and they lost too many of their Y-Wing bombers so they had to switch targets to taking out the main weapon of the massive ship instead.

Luke joins the ranks of the Jedi.
Last of the Jedi (Plural)

Who knows.

Moisture farmer? I just met her.

We could see it elsewhere. Not appearing in the OT doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't exist, just that it wasn't being used in any of the scenes we saw.

Really the only time it might've made sense to deploy it would be Hoth, but it wouldn't add anything to the battle the AT-ATs and AT-STs weren't already doing.

It's movie material, there's a lot more of a chance of seeing them again than, say, the EU vehicles brought back by that Commander mobile game.

Ezra even got the buzz cut

What the fuck happened to Barriss?

We've already seen one in the Han Solo comic.

Weird that Luke would refer to Ezra as his trainee, but what do I know.
I like it.

During Rogue One, the Mon Calamari ship Profundity had its command bridge located far below the hull. In turn, it also had massive shields.

Shielding such a relatively small area of the ship is much easier though, and although the TIE's focused fire on the bridge, nothing got through. That meant they could allocate less shield power to the heavy hull above.

Until we learn otherwise, she's either still rotting in jail or died in jail

we've seen what happens when trailers hype characters that end up doing fuck all

She was supposed to show up later on in TCW, so her story's just not done being told yet.

I actually like the UT-AT quite a lot, it's the closest the Republic had to an actual MBT.

>trainee
>Not co-instructor/co-teacher

What? That guy in my hut? Oh, that's Ezra. We met once when some weird guy tried murdering Old Ben Kenobi but I never knew that he was a Jedi too. The foce works in mysterious ways, eh? So how're Han and Leia doing? Have they made up with Ben yet?

>TCW Legacy Project is taking forever
AAAAAAAA

Why does Ezra keep going along with Maul's stupid bullshit plans when he keeps betraying them every single time?

Whatever happened to him?

Maybe a variant?
