Velma is overrated

I liked Steampunk Nazi Velma.

She was a huge bitch with a pointy face.

It really says something about a Velma when I prefer her series' Daphne to her.

She looked great, but she was by far the worst Velma in terms of personality.

>tfw adolescent me realized you could look up her skirt and see her panties

Why?

>Anime velma

Honestly her bitchiness is what made her so great. In the past she wasn't really that interesting, simply being "the smart one". They even made her bitchy in Be Cool.

What about the outfit user...

She wasn't even best girl in her own family.

Pic related.

I mean it's a pretty standard Velma outfit. I'm more into what's underneath...

>having a bone fetish
You make me sick.

>not wanting to fuck a skeleton
shit taste tbqh

>That fucking short skirt, that cute face

where the fuck is da porn?

Honestly, I prefer original 60s Velma.

Or the one from the newer DTV movies, which is basically 60s Velma but in HD.

...

shit taste

Aren't the new movies direct continuations of What's New, Scooby-Doo?

I dunno. They don't look like What's New but they did make a bunch of movies in the same style of What's New before the current batch.

Holy shit, I hated how What's New Scooby Doo looked. Still a great Velma, though.

>poor mans hot dog water

This guy gets it

...

Back to /utg/ with you.

This guy gets it.

>Not liking both

user's cute Wisconsin waifu is better.

...

>he dump me for a dog
kek
I should watch it already.

Personally, I'm fond of Velma and was glad to find out that other people are as well.

But popularity breeds contempt here, and when too many people said "Yeah, we prefer Velma", there was a swelling of people who would scream "DAPHNE IS KING, BITCHES".

That's just the way it goes.

CUTE!

>MI velma
>any redeeming quality
>ultra bitchy needy girlfriend
>stuck with Shaggy despite him blowing her off for Scoob

No. She was retarded. Having in group relationships between the characters is fucking retarded because none of them have chemistry. It's why the Daphne x Fred shit was so funny because Fred was fucking retarded and aloof.

The best Velma we ever got was Johnny Bravo x Velma mode where she was swiggity swooty for Johnny while Johnny warmed upto her despite her being plain as fuck canonically.

The old series and the new DVD movie Velma are the best overall but if you want a relationship then the best Velma was clearly the joke they ran with for Johnny Bravos crossover.

So many Velmas, I can't choose just one.

I don't understand why no one is posting images of Velma with big tatas!

If you say so, user.

Can do!

You want the whole package

I have to agree. Not because I don't think Velma is cute, but because almost every iteration of her seems to be a boner killer.

She'll either turn you down if you're not smart enough for her or if she DOES agree to date you she will fuck you into submission and also ruin all of your relationships with your friends so she can get more attention.

She's the cute nerdy girl but she's ODDLY high maintenance.

Some of the earlier ones were, but the newer go back in the classic style. Some design notes that can help you:
What's New Daphne wears no foulard
What's New Fred wears no ascot and haves a blue stripe in the middle of the shirt
What's New Velma haves slightly messed hair and her shoes have platforms instead of heels

Goddamn.

They sure did.

I wish there was more Velma and Daphne smut based off of Mystery Incorporated.

She got better around the second season once she stopped harping on about Shaggy not swoocing her pussy.

...

Fat Velma is best Velma

Speaking of MI smut, are there any girls in the series who could use more nsfw material?

Agree.

Well, duh user.

butt bump

Aside from Marcy and the MI-verse Hex Girls, some of the one-shot girls could use some love.

Like the not-Sari girl.

...

Let's not say "fat." Let's say "chubby/plump."

This looks like an opening scene to a very questionable adult movie.

>Asian Velma
I never realized how much I wanted that until now

Hot dog water

Dat big butt

Should I feel ashamed that I thought Marcie was topless before clicking the thumbnail

She had a personality and character development. I know Sup Forums hates "muh mean-spiritidness" but in this case it worked well making her interesting and people who have this complaint tend to forget that that's the entire damn point and she learns to be a better person later on.

Werewolf Velma, Best Velma

What IS the continuity?

she makes my hot dog water

>MI-verse Hex Girls
wash your mouth out with soap right now

Fuck, can't believe I never thought of that one.

Uh, why? They're just as great as the originals.

Well she is sitting behind Velma. She likely had to restrain the urge to pop them put and play with them.

I'd call her a butter face but her hair is awful too

Bitch velma is funny velma. MI was a pretty good show in terms of jokes and laughs. The ongoing story was also great and the art style wasn't bad at all, even if u prefer older styles. The only major problem was the ridiculous ending. All their problems were just resolved in an instant, wtf.

Not as such. They were the only survivors outside of Ellison.

These people, this town that is now Crystal Cove is not their town.

All these people are strangers to them. Everyone they bonded with is now dead replaced with people from a different world.

Its a very Lovecraft ending. They didn't win as much as survived the destruction of their old universe which killed all their friends and family.

Its why they leave, there is nothing there for them.

>All their problems were just resolved
Everyone else's problems were resolved, but they were trapped in a new world that they didn't understand and that didn't understand them. Basically cursed to wander the world solving mysteries looking for someplace to belong, but never finding it.

That, and no mysteries in or around town.

Have to wonder if Ellison is just luring towards another eldritch horror.

>just as great as the originals

YOU. DO. NOT. IMPROVE. PERFECTION.

more velma in her undies

Nobody said improve, just they're as good. At least it isn't the "What's new?" version where they looked bland and whitewashed Luna.

i support you user

>that picture by lewdcoin is forever lost

Fuck this reality.

>cute nerdy girl
>ODDLY high maintenance

dating any nerd is high maintenance

They actually had plans for Miskatonic University if they were renewed for a third season.

If you're into monster girls.

I thought the hypothetical third season stuff was meant to end with them getting to the university, having to solve a mystery along the way?

I now understand why i had the hots for the distant ex of mine.
She was the Velma lookalike.

It would've consisted of the gang running into the classic monsters along the way, but with the mystery revolving around the university.

>still no fucking bluray release for MI

What.
The.
Fuck?

>But popularity breeds contempt here, and when too many people said "Yeah, we prefer Velma", there was a swelling of people who would scream "DAPHNE IS KING, BITCHES".
That's half the reason why Velma is popular.

People have been thinking "Daphne is rich, Velma is a nerd--therefore Velma is less popular and I should waifu her" since the 70s.

I can see myself being friends with Daphne much more easily than I can with Velma. There are very few iterations of Velma that I feel like I could get along with beyond the most basic of contact and social niceties. But Velma is much more my type looks-wise. Neither of them seem like my kind of girlfriend material.

God I want Velma to sit on my face

Especially if we're talking about Mystery Inc, I honestly think Daphne is more interesting than Velma. I feel like you could boil MI Velma down more easily than MI Daphne.

Then again, if I were to hang out with MI Daphne I'd be constantly worried she'd drug me and steal my kidneys, or something batshit like that.

Daphne is frequently shown as being much more compassionate and patient than Velma across her many iterations. Obvious exceptions being the live-action TV movie Velma and Pup Named Scooby-Doo. Outside of those Velma almost always comes across as very stern and often unforgiving. Even back in WAY she was the one most likely to chastise someone for goofing off or having any fun whatsoever.

Meanwhile Daphne was always chill and willing to accept one's flaws while actively communicating any problem she had with anyone without being a bitch about it for the most part.

They're both interesting, especially when you look at them across their entire history. And I still find Velma far more physically attractive. But as far as personality goes, I have to give the edge to Daphne. At least when it comes to people I'd actually want to be around in real life. Storytelling-wise they're about even.

Thank you and goodnight.
SDMI taught me to look for someone like Marcie.
I found her.
Still leading geeky, vaguely edgy life two years later, with lots of snuggles.
Thank you SDMI

bingo. by the time of tragedy with marcie, she is the most human and empathetic of the cast, and my heart bled for her.

Whos that between inverted velma and comic velma?

wheres the one below the top right from?

Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue. The worst of the Scooby Doo series imo. Had a cute Velma though. Even if she wasn't really all that Velma like and actually looked more like a cosplayer than an actual Velma.

It was probably the first official Scooby Doo media that really pushed into the Velma/Shaggy ship. But she only ever showed up in about three episodes so it's not really explored.

It was never released on home video or streaming and was seldom re-aired. That and its hard deviation from the SD formula has helped make it the least regarded and least remembered series of the franchise.

holy shit it looks like scooby got the leftovers from clerks/daria/ and some shitty flash animation

I guess it did get a home media and streaming release. Meh, still a garbage Scooby show.

>It was probably the first official Scooby Doo media that really pushed into the Velma/Shaggy ship
What episodes? I need to know.

Episode 1, 10 (heavily). Thats all I could find from skimming the episodes.
You know this series is the most un-scooby scooby medium I've ever seen.

>No Ivy Doomkitty Velma
Please user, priorities.

not being accidentally mistaken for lunch is a pretty good priority.
