th Spider-Man film. >>Supporting cast altered drastically to keep franchise on life support. >>Peter has Ganke-I mean, Ned Leeds discover his identity to be minority friend like every other hero of the MCU. >>Villain is the Vulture. >>Shocker isn't Shocker but a group of guys who don't wear the Shocker outfit. >>Redoing the Train scene but with a boat (even though that doesn't make much sense. >>Tony Stark has to carry most of the film.
This film is going to be mediocre and people will claim it's the best film of the MCU.
Ryan Morales
He's really giving that pyramid the business isn't he?
Hudson Morris
It's the Washington Monument. But yes, that's exactly what he's doing
John Foster
Now he needs to sit on it.
Samuel Ross
>Redoing the Train scene but with a boat (even though that doesn't make much sense.
Yes, Sam Raimi invented Spider-Man doing amazing feats of strength.
Benjamin Davis
Yes, I know it's supposed to show his strength, but holding a boat together like that doesn't seem to make sense because even split like that, the boat would take on water.
Connor Russell
Someone needs to edit that text into "I do it for free"
Well it would take a while for said boat to take on water and he'd be buying the people time to escape, it's not like he's going to patch it back together with webbing.
Daniel Powell
>feats of strength Guess it comes in handy during Festivus
Logan Harris
And at the rate that train was going, Peter would have expelled more webbing than there is fluid in his body
Suspension of disbelief
Aaron Watson
I predict the Wonder Woman movie will be objectively good, but critics will deride it for not being exactly what they wanted. Meanwhile, the Captain Marvel film will be objectively awful but receive rave reviews.
Evan Butler
So what does Spider-Man have against the Washington Monument? Is he showing how progressive he is by taking on the single largest most erect phallic symbol of the patriarchy?
Liam Cox
I know this is bait, but I already fed the troll in the Ego the Living Planet clickbait thread so I'm kinda out. Will you take an I.O.U.?
Owen Watson
Okay, but I expect at least 5% interest upon your return.
Hudson Scott
>Redoing the Train scene but with a boat (even though that doesn't make much sense.
I'm just happy that they're finally showing Spider-man as a power house in the movies, i remember all the normies saying "How can Spider-man defeat Winter Soldier he can barely lift a car" i know i shouldn't get triggered, but it surprise how many people forget that this fucker have super strength and durability
Noah Myers
I'd forgive everything, but goddamn, why two fucking shockers. Why.
Dominic Gonzalez
The problem with making Spider-Man so OP is that it contradicts when he loses, like how Falcon was able to use Redwing on him without his Spider-Sense going off.
Adam Nelson
I predict this is what DCEU apologists will tell themselves to continue propping up their metaphorical asymmetric high bars for more mental gymnastics.
If only it wasn't for Hollywood Jewish Nepotism and Disney Dollars we'd all be able to recognize Wonder Woman for the triumph of the film that it is in showing that in this day and age even an anorexic woman can play the role of the strongest woman in the world. Truly I marvel at how far we've come as a society.
Except he already said he doesn't have full control of his senses, particularly when he's distracted due to shit talking. Even then him being strong has nothing to do with that scene anyway.
Jason Diaz
#jasonalexanderforuncleben
Ian Williams
>I predict the Wonder Woman movie will be objectively good I don't have a smug enough reaction image for this
Jayden Thomas
Exactly, I mean just compare scenes from raimis spiderman, it makes mcu Spider-Man look like garbage
Henry Hill
Because introducing two costumed bad guys in one movie might've seemed a bit rushed so they're probably just going to set up the shocker as something that can potentially be touched upon later.
Luke Robinson
Inorite, how can white guys even compete?
Nathan James
>(Dead)th Spider-Man film. LOL
Jonathan Adams
You don't know how much fluid he got in his body ;)
Ian Taylor
>recognize Wonder Woman for the triumph of the film that it is in showing that in this day and age even an anorexic woman can play the role of the strongest woman in the world Welp, Carol gets btfo again.
Hunter Baker
Tomato juice, user. A pornstar told me it's great for generating semen.
Chase Jenkins
Maybe Marvel can make her black to earn extra Token points to compete with WW's anorexia. It's not too late to recast!
Jacob Gutierrez
I miss Monica Rambeau ;_;
Ryan Baker
Better yet: Take a cue from Apple and use all the courage they have to put Brie in blackface.
Tyler Garcia
Will she sing a blues?
Austin Adams
She goddamn well better!
Nicholas Taylor
I've never seen a bait thread so underwhelmingly fail to achieve its goal of rustling Jimmies.
Leo Garcia
>This film is going to be mediocre and people will claim it's the best film of the MCU.
So business as usual? MCUcks is a sickness...
Mason Turner
see I mean there's alot of bait threads on Sup Forums right now, you can't expect me to have enough (you)s for all of them do you?
Angel Watson
Evanposting is a good sign of jimmies rustled.
Brandon Turner
Uh-huh, that's nice.
Gavin Parker
Ahem:
Lincoln Baker
I don't get it, are trying to damage control my post? Kill yourself faggot
Christopher Cox
It is.
Jacob Hall
As someone already said there's so much bait and Sup Forums on Sup Forums right now it's just getting too hard to stay interested, especially when the bait is this weak. I mean OP should have at least posted a shitty clickbait article or something.
Tyler Wright
What? Did something happne?
Cameron Garcia
Agreed a clickbait article taken out of context would have probably gotten me a little rustled, but this. I mean it's not even in a timely manner after the trailer debut. Trolls these days, you gotta strike when the iron is hot.
Grayson Davis
I think the problem is that they're so desperate to make it not seem like the other films that they are going against all the iconic moments created before.
Cameron Kelly
In that case, why don't they use Miles instead?
Jordan Sullivan
> If I respond to myself maybe it will trick someone into thinking another person took the bait.
Nope. I can't even think of a funny way to respond to that right now. "Something something, SJW tumblr?"... nah, I'm just not feeling it right now.
Angel Sanders
>that "Sup Forums should be like reddit" user again
Ryan Scott
Because people like Miles and to completely destroy the old image of Spider-Man they have to use numale quipmeme parker to do it. Don't you see it, Marvel has to destroy it before they can make it their own! Because that makes sense enough to make someone angry right? Right? No bites?
What? I thought we were on an anti-tumblr kick lately. Is Reddit really the current scapegoat? Man I just can't keep up with the times.
Jack Brooks
Tumblr, reddit... the angry user doesn't care, he just needs Sup Forums to stop saying things he doesn't like. >to completely destroy the old image of Spider-Man they have to use numale quipmeme Parker to do it I'm OK with this. >people like Miles lolno
Cooper Lopez
Awwww, we'd made it to page 5 before you bumped it again.
Justin Ward
It's your fault for answering my posts.
Henry Wright
Naw, I saged.
Colton King
>saging a Spider-Man thread What's next? Reporting the thread and announcing it?
Jayden Walker
>Shocker ONORE
Joseph Cooper
>wasting another talented actor on a one-movie role Jason Alexander for MODOK
Joseph Campbell
I wonder if shocker will be a terrorist organization with global reach that makes cyborgs
Oliver Jenkins
Someone had to give Spider-Man his powers before he rebelled.
Thomas Harris
>This film is going to be mediocre and people will claim it's the best film of the MCU.
So par for the course with every MCU movie?
Jason Wood
> Thread keeps plummeting to page 4/5 > OP keeps bumping his own thread in hopes of some one taking his bait.
Kek
Jordan Wilson
>butthurt user helps OP Lol.
Robert Jenkins
> how does "sage" work?
Austin Jenkins
>40 minutes pass >the thread was about to 404 >butthurt user cannot help bumping it with a butthurt answer
Ryan Foster
> how does "sage" work?
Carson Cook
You tell me, bot.
Bentley Morales
> Does it feed?
Zachary Reyes
>Could have finally given us the Spider-Man we like and skipped the highschool bullshit. >We could have had a story based off of Spider-Man Blue from the start. >It could have stared a mature Spider-Man who struggling to support his Aunt, social life, and being Spider-Man. >The audience could have seen him move up from being a struggling photographer to being a school teacher. >There could have gotten a marriage. >Finally we could have done thrilling arcs like Kraven's Last Hunt, Gauntlet and Death of Jean De'Wulff.
Nope, instead we're getting.
>"LOL! WHAT A GEEK" Benis-verse Spider-Man. >Will build up to kid arachnid. >Spider-Man will always be stuck in highschool. >Not even good variation of highschool Peter. >"OMG! THE AVENGERS! I LUV YOU GUYS!" >Movie synergy will follow. >All other forms of media will be based off this version. >Miles will /always/ be endgame.
I want to die.
Brayden Kelly
If people aren't taking the weak bait in the OP I doubt they're going to read that small novel you just dropped.
Asher Sanchez
Don't forget >forced diversity down our throats
Nathan Ward
Because Miles sucks.
Gavin Campbell
>Miles ever being relevant Hi, Bendis.
Aiden Gray
He's getting an upcoming movie and is a main character in the last Spider-Man cartoon. He will also be a main character in the upcoming one. It's pretty clear they're building up to put him in the MCU.
Daniel Cruz
I'm an unapologetic MCUfag, but I have zero interest in this movie.
I still can't believe they bumped Panther and Ms. Marvel for this.
Aiden Peterson
I'll admit I am not excited to see this but the movie will do good just for being Spider-Man and Marvel no matter what.
Gabriel Reyes
>another irrelevant character shoved down our throats
Samuel Brooks
It's even worse in the comics, holy shit. He's been popping up in pretty much every other book there. Not to mention he was a key player in last year's event and will be one in this year's too. They've been really pushing this Miles meme.
Aaron Mitchell
>everyone is Miles Prepare your anus for the next Marvel event!
Nathan Jenkins
Is Pete going to suck Tony's dick? The trailers seemed to imply it.
Noah Bennett
>black bands He's his gimpy boy.
Evan Evans
>The costume is just a high tech gimp suit, because Tony has a spider fetish.
How deep does the rabbit hole go?
Anthony Robinson
People agreeing with people online?! That's absurd!
Aiden Diaz
Please God no. I really fucking hope his movie is a flop and Marvel, in typical Marvel fashion, just kinda blacklists everything Miles.
Eli Foster
they'll both be shit because men are shit at writing woman characters and women are shit at writing interesting comic stories.
Easton Torres
>Villain is the Vulture. Norman needs to be in the movies in some capacity; I like the Vulture as the main villain; but I really want to see Oscorp and how he's essentially wiping the floor behind the scenes. Fuck have Dark Avengers after the whole Thanos story wraps up. Real Iron Patriot and BESTeye.
Leo Sanders
I agree, DC could handle Spider-Man better than Marvel can
Landon Nelson
He honestly fits the mold of the DC universe a lot more than he does the Marvel one. Didn't they attempt to buy him at one point, or am I thinking of something else?
Sebastian Cox
No, in the 80s WB had intended to outsource the DCU to Marvel but it didn't happen in the end.
William Nelson
cause fucking Byrne couldn't keep his mouth shut
Ethan Jackson
No, according to Shooter it was because First Comics had sued Marvel due to some distribution problems or something, so they couldn't go on with the plan. The full story is in his blog.
Parker Ortiz
>everything that disagrees with me is bait
This why Sup Forums is dying you stupid little faggots
Andrew Hill
Holy shif faggot kys
Isaiah Peterson
Why would you even want Norman in the MCU? He d just get quipped away by Tony.
Lincoln Fisher
You cant bump your own threads anymore you literal retard
Gabriel Collins
>Why would you even want Norman in the MCU?
To give us the multi-film build up that Shane Black cock-blocked us out of with The Mandarin. Besides, someone had to capitalize on Stark and Hammer not being the top weapons contractor for the US military. The MCU presents a lot of options to take Norman in. It'd be a huge waste not to have him.
Jayden Smith
the sad part is that you are probably right
Xavier Ross
It probably will be but most Spider-Man movies are. Even the "critically acclaimed" Spider-Man 2 was junk to me. I thought Raimi's 1 was ok and Amazing was meh but the character does not seem to be fit for the celluloid screen.
After watching Flash and Arrow I feel like Spider-man NEEDS to be a live action tv series to get it right. He's heavily dependent on his supporting cast and the drama and side plotlines that come from being a young dude trying to juggle everything and movies don't have enough time to showcase that.
Luke Jenkins
It's more likely we'd never get him in the overall MCU just because of the very specific terms and date limits Marvel has on Spider-man with sony.
