Only if they are keepers

No. I'm not a thieving nigger. I buy and rent the films I want to watch.

>rent

this isn't still a thing is it?

My format has always just been:

>Movie Title (Year)

no, i'm not a degenerate.

I always think it would be rude to yfiy if I renamed his 10/10 rips plus I get annoyed when people say wow thats like a bluray are you sure you downloaded it and I have to tell them about his rips

You can rent digitally. I also use Netflix's DVD program.

>rent
>digitally
lol

you can also "borrow" ebooks from that library that terminate after a period.

how embarassing

i don't. plex recognizes it perfectly, so why should i care?

and this.

I download only if I want to keep it. HD or BR AC3 rips. I currently have a library of 160 current or past TV shows, 577 movies and 68 docs, thanks to RARBG

Shit is cash

If you use Plex, you have to know you give full read/write access to your content to its user.

Like some people got their entire Kindle library remotely erased, you could lose everything.

im sure this sounded better in your head

Film title (year) [quality]
i keep the quality label so if a better quality version is out later i can replace it

The truth always sounds like a lie to a liar

take some time off and work on your bait

Don't (you) me faggot

yes

>VLC

Yes. I go beyond that; sometimes I edit films a bit to improve them. Like if the director stuck in some annoying high-pitched tone or a bunch of static to convey a sense of unease or chaos, I'll wipe that out for a more pleasant viewing experience.

I also edit music files to remove feedback, rap interludes, and other debris, which enrages Sup Forums to no end whenever I admit this.

As a disgusting Pole, for several years I have been deliberately renaming all the movies in my collection using the most atrocious translations I can think of. There are more than 1000 of them.

Surprisingly, very often I find my "title" matching the one from official polish release.

I hope that when I die, someone discovers it and I'll be posthumusly awarded some sort of advanced autism title.

This is just the stuff from my PC, I had to split it into 3 hard drives.

Only the ones I intend on keeping. The format I use is: director - [year] title. It's useful for sorting purposes if you have multiple films by the same director.

Do people not like Yifi or something?

Netflix DVD program? What's this

disgusting

No? What am I a fucking gay?

>Title (Director, Year, Country)

>he isn't using git with tags to store his films and then using fzf to search them and watch any movie in the blink of an eye

pathetic

this

Why would you keep a movie after seeing it?

need to be sent to the popcorn mines

You're such a fool.

I rename the folder, but I keep the filename the same so that I can easily find subs if later desired.

use git, then you don't have to worry even if you rename them.

i used to but i relaised it's a pleb thing to do

>renaming
Are you autistic? When I finally get around to watching a movie I delete it afterwards.

I only do this if it was turned out shit or was something I downloaded just to fap too, these are usually lower visual quality anyway
I keep everything with rewatch value

Are you Dunkey?

>2017
>downloading anything
>at all
Poorfags shouldn't be allowed on this website.

I make multiple shortcuts to the movie and then filter them by director, year of release, leading actors, genre and distributor

Can't decide if this is brilliant or retarded.

Still, I need some sort of tag system for windows explorer to catalogue my stuff (when 2 different things belong in 2 different folders but they have something in common so I can bring them up at the same time when I want to).

Is there anything like that other than the clanky buit-in windows tag system? Win 7 btw.

How the fuck do you even save your movies when they are 1080p, you know how much fucking space they take up? I fucking remove them after I watch them.

>saving 3D porn

literally fucking kill yourself normalfag

No, I don't have aspergers

>storagelets

Film Name (Date of release)

yeah rebuilding my library cause I lost all my data recently

am I misinterpreting that or is that 750GB just of the Sopranos?

yeah, but I haven't added season 1. It's blu-ray remux

is everything you have 4K or something? Why the fuck are the movies all 20-30 GB?
I have all of the Sopranos in 1080p and it's

I can see how this user could get such high figures. I decided to download the newest season of Twin Peaks in I think it was 720p and the entire season ranked well over 100GBs by the end.

idk man here's the mediainfo of s02e01. Also I downloaded it from rutracker so russian audio tracks are added which adds to the size. This episode however does not have those tracks.

Oh yeah forgot to add: your files are probably compressed in some way. I try to get remuxes only. Resolution often doesn't say much about the quality of the video.

rename folders
keep filename

standard remux figures. a single BD holds up to 50 Gs

it just seems like you're taking up 10 times the necessary storage for the exact same resolution
I guess there would be some minor-to-unnoticeable improvements in other areas of quality since you're getting an exact image of the bluray or whatever, but that doesn't seem worth the space to me
but fair enough, if you've got the storage and like that sort of thing

sickrage and couchpotato automatically do this for me

>russian audio tracks are added which adds to the size
lmao
like not even 1% of the size is audio

it is not worth it no if storage space is practically finite. high-quality encodes are practically lossless. remuxes are comforting tho since they are untouched

not him but sound quality matters a lot (to me) and i'll download larger files to ensure it isnt shit

Nah I'm not bothered.

Maybe some day when I'm bored. My old hard drive broke so I only started a new torrent collection the other day. Not much in there atm.

>he fell for the 40 GB rip meme

On every episode there are 5 russian tracks, one of which is DTS. Combined they take up 1GB per episode. I have now 73 episodes so that totals to ~73 GB.

LOL, if he really want to keep fullmux bluray he would realize after a few years you can get all these movies at bargain price. Not worth the hassle of having shitton of stuff you won't rewatch anyway don't kid yourself.

You do know it's incredibly simple to remove the unnecessary audio tracks with a remuxer right

Yeah I know but it's a lot of work

>dad
>sis
>brother

get on my level

Why are you pretending you can tell the difference?

could you upload pajamas.mp4? i haven't been able to find the full thing in ages

>winamp
>real player
>avi
>flv
>wmv
hello 2006

sure.

>winamp

If I keep them, and only the folder. That way I can still see what the quality is from the filename.

>2017
>downloading and organizing movies and tv shows manually
plebs, learn how to configure flexget or some other software like that i'm sure is freely available

sure
