Has anyone ever noticed the resemblances between Batman and Dracula?
- Both live in huge, magnificent but empty homes - They employ a single male servant - Extravagantly rich - Lives in isolation - Both have lofty titles (Count and President & CEO) - Mostly awake at night
And what's more.
- Locals are either not bothered or hesitant about them - Both have an obsession with bats, one dresses as them, the other turns into them - Occasionally seduces young girls with the help of Alfred/Igor
Would a comic where Bruce is actually a young vampire count in medieval Transylvania, fighting werewolves and other undead work?
gee, in that other justice league alternate timeline with mexisupes had a vampire batman
its a common thing
Oliver Collins
Bruce has already been a vampire before.
Leo Taylor
>They employ a single male servant
Did Dracula? I haven't read the book in over 10 years but I can't remember one.
Christian Carter
>- Occasionally seduces young girls with the help of Alfred/Igor
The fuck is this about? Timm, is that you, motherfucker?
Chase Edwards

Bruh
Andrew Wilson
Almost every version of Dracula has an Igor of sorts, usually it's RENFIELD!
Luis Anderson
If Batman is Dracula, what would the other JL members be?
Gavin Brooks
Damn. I like that.
Make superman into a Frankenstein creation.

Jordan Ramirez
Aquaman would be the creature from the black lagoon.
Aiden Green
Wonder Woman could be Diana Van Helsing (new and original concept) using guns and a lasso, who teams up with the Batman after learning there are much worse things in the dark.
Benjamin Cooper
I can see Wonder Woman as a Frankenstein's Monster.
Josiah Harris
Well, since Batman was a plagiarism of The Shadow, who was inspired by Dracula by Walter Gibson's own admission, it makes sense to draw this comparison
Charles Kelly
But in-universe Batman is inspired by Zorro.
Dominic Jones
I don't see the resemblance really
Leo Butler
During a crossover comic, Batman acknowledged The Shadow as his biggest inspiration. And the Gray Ghost episode in Batman TAS is partially a reference to The Shadow too.
And even if Zorro is stated in-universe to be the primary inspiration, this does not change the indisputable fact that, by Bil Finger's own admission, Batman plagiarized The Shadow.
Logan Miller
Could Flash be some kind of literal speed demon?
Tyler White
I can dig it
Lucas Thompson
So what, Frankenstein made her out of clay because he always wanted a daughter?
Jacob Thompson
Hippolyta stitched her together from fallen amazons because she wanted a daughter. And the gods laid their blessings upon the corpse thing, with Zeus sending a great bolt of lightning to grant it the divine spark of life
Lincoln Howard
I feel like there was an Elseworlds for this.
Jaxson Allen
>And even if Zorro is stated in-universe to be the primary inspiration, this does not change the indisputable fact that, by Bil Finger's own admission, Batman plagiarized The Shadow. For like, two stories. Shadow really didn't have much to do with what Finger, Robinson and the gang made Batman into later on.
