Invader from Mars, I guess. It's about a kid trying to uncover a UFO mystery in a town where the adults are all against him.
I assume you've seen The Monster Squad; it's the most Goonies-like of the Goonies knock-offs. Also The Lost Boys.
Personally, The Gate is my favorite of the films from that vein.
