I saw it twice. Both alone. Made me feel even more lonely after getting out of the theater.

why is she so perfect?

3, once at an IMAX (an actual one)
>tfw its being pulled from IMAX and normal screenings at my VUE cinema (printworks in manchester) on thursday because of capeshit

Going to see it a second time tomorrow

once
I need to see it again I know

I saw it yesterday for the first time, it's not being shown in my town anymore after today. I was one of four people in the theatre and yeah I was alone.

Because she's the best angel

Absolutely heartbroken that I can't see it in IMAX again. I'll see it again in a regular screening but it won't be the same.

>mfw every time a gun is shot in the IMAX
>"WHERE IS HE"
>"GODDAMMIT"
>Sea Wall soundtrack
The sound is honestly the main reason to watch it in IMAX rather than the visuals imo

Once at it was tedious and not the piece of art you all are jerking off hoping it is. Pretty movie though and will definately win best art.

>tfw I thought it was way to loud in iMax

>Even see's where the camera is just panning over the city or street food court has music and techno sounds blaring super loud

Best scene right

I can get behind your luvposting but that is nowhere near best scene
>Baseline test
>Sync scene
>Sea wall fight
>First scene outside vegas before entering the casino
>GODDAMIT scene
>Factory scene (leading up to the horse)

If we count camrip watches 10 times.

Would have been better if she was getting her toenails done

>Put off seeing the movie because it was long and the original didn't blow me away
>Finally decide to see it
>Felt blown away in more ways than one
>That sound, that acting, that cinematography
A lot better than the original. Fantastic fucking film. I can only imagine how great it would have been in IMAX.

...

I blew some reward points to watch it in an AVX theater for free and the audio was fucking glorious. Saw it a second time this weekend in a regular theater and it just didn't have the same punch to it. Might have to try and sneak in another premium viewing before they relegate it down to the shitty small theaters, it's one of the few times I was actively glad to see something in AVX

So wait, do i need to go see it again on my own? Does it heighten the kino sensations?

Once. Am I still doing my part if I buy it on blu-ray immediately after it's released?

>K flies to LAPD
>REVVING INTENSIFIES

youtube.com/watch?v=6vThgFwt4Kg

Only once, there are no more showings of IMAX within a reasonable distance to travel, so I won't be seeing it again.

I think both Joi and Love are some tragic characters, I sympathize with them both, they have equal constraints that hold back their desires, and hopes, and neither can feel fully human, or recognized as possessing a soul, disposable items to a disposable society. Really, that whole world causes me nothing but misery as I consider its implications.

That revving is intoxifying

In my second time around most of the people in the theater were solos. By that point I think the normies have all been shaken off, the only people left paying to see it are people who are in it for the kino. Felt comfy man

Just got back from my 3rd viewing. My fourth and final will be this saturday

You consider your abject endless virginity and wish you were a robot so you could at least have a weird cyber noir story behind it?

>K flies to sea wall
>youtu.be/NujlXgBmUoU?t=23 intensifies

>Love

Get out!

I can spell her name however I wish, it was not specified in the film

How does your brain come to conclusions? Really, that's what you gather from my post? I'm disappointed.

>6:10 when the fight kicks off

twice

Is 5 times too many...? I want to see "You look like a good Joe" one more time and cry...

>the spelling isn't specified in the movie
>he didn't stay for the credits

This movie is evil and degeneracy and you know it.

>He didn't stay for the entire credits, then sit in the theatre for an additional 5 minutes making the cleanup boys wait as he tried to contemplate the kinology of what he had just witnessed

staying fro the credits was not an option, and going to back to the film, it isn't specified, I'm not going to spell a characters name as Jawn because they had John written that way in the credits either.

*VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMSSSHHHHHH*
I'm watching it again just to feel my seat vibrate to the sounds in this movie, lads.

that bit at the beginning where he returns to the LAPD after the confrontation with the rogue replicant was akin to a religious experience

there were tears welling in my eyes as I saw the glorious overgrown and decayed urbanity

Is there any chance of this returning to IMAX if it finds a big following down the line?

I doubt it, but that would be amazing

Where is LuvPoster?

hell no, they're not going to schedule something like that retroactively when they could be using that time screening whatever the hot marquee action movie happens to be that week.

Best we can hope for is a Dredd type of situation where a tenacious cult following makes up for the box office and convinces studios to let directors just do what the fuck they need to do.

>depicting our future and in many ways already our present is evil

Seconded

>talking with my brother on the phone
>what are you up to, user?
>families worried
>borderline shutin
> tell him I'm going to the cinema again tomorrow to see 2049
>wow it must really be a good film, that's' the third time

mfw

Is four times too many?

it's your call what you want to do with your money, if you like living in that world for three hours, why should anyone stop you? Just don't let it get in the way of any obligations, it is a large chunk of time in the day.

I've seen it twice
I would go a third time but shit's pricey.

The Drowning scene actually did something to my ears.
I heard a hissing sound for good 10 or so minutes after it concluded.
At first I thought it was the ending scene, but then I plugged my ears to test and still heard it.

What the fuck.

33 and a half times, but something is still missing. I think I need to watch it with interactive temperature controls in a pressurized isolation tank to get the full effect that Denis intended.

in imax?

regular tickets are only about 10.50

It was the first time I saw something in IMAX (no IMAX in my old town). The sound was fucking insane, got so many chills especially from the soundtrack. I wasn't even aware that you can actually get better surround sound compared to regular cinemas.

reduced prices on Tuesdays nigga

And IMAX doesn't even have the best sound setup either, that goes to Dolby Atmos

6. going tomorrow morning again since its cheaper on tuesdays.

>user I NEED THAT CALANTHA REPORT ON MY DESK IN 5 MINUTES!! I'LL PICK YOU UP FOR OUR DATE AT EIGHT!

do you want to see it again? If so get a cheap midweek ticket, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are casually dead so cheaper tickets, that's why I'm going again tomorrow. You'll probably never see it again all alone on a big screen

Shit

I need to catch up to you

honestly this is the average sort of girl i wish i had been having one night stands with in college

nothing really noteworthy about her but it would be a good night of feeling like you're normal. i'd almost rather bang her than someone objectively prettier because at that point you're like "ok you're banging me but you're out of my league, what's your angle"

with this girl you're like "ok shes just horny like me, we're both average. cool"

anyway whats this thread about?

youtube.com/watch?v=Z0cYCxAfk0w

Guys, I-i'm worried

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I think I got permanent hearing damage from watching it in IMAX.

Fuck 'em.

nope. sex scene was best scene.
luv being strangled was more erotic though.

...

no. lower your head in shame.

>Dolby Atmos

Hoping to experience that someday. Sadly BR2049 screenings seem to be stopping very soon.

Also really loved the Mesa soundtrack, when the floodgates open and it pans to K and Joi flying above the seawall.

youtu.be/WcLzUZSGT6Q?t=39

Saw it twice. Not much interruption by the audience both times, which means they're bored or well behaved. Not complaining, but not gonna go anymore. Will re-watch on Blu-ray.

kek nice

Once. My autism prevents me from seeing it multiple times, but I will be buying the BD day one.

so fucking glad my friend who sees everything in imax invited me to this. it was incredible. ive seen only a handful of movies in imax, but none compare to blade runner 2049 the most recent was fucking force awakens and it was of course trash i wonder what my friend thought about it considering he experiences imax like every week. we didnt talk about specifically imax, just that the audio and visuals were amazing in general.

was br2049 released in rpx? is rpx actually better, or is that a false claim?

I've seen it three times, and everytime it gets more kino

>want to see it again
>physical/digital release hasnt happened yet
>don't want to go back to the theater and pay for the same thing twice

>that first flight to LAPD scene
>later find out the LAPD building is miniature

We don't deserve this movie

Three times, the third one was the best.

if I was a billionaire I'd buy everyone in my town tickets

No movie does flying cars better than this one

>being poor
i bought 3 tickets and it cost me about $80 bucks

how the hell can it be this expensive, do you get lobster at the theater?

Crab legs, duh?

those are terrifically overpriced

I'm not in a small market, and the max price is imax tickets at ~15 ea

>wanna go for a ride
>youtu.be/WcLzUZSGT6Q starts playing at 00:45
>driver and joi flying over the wall

shivers errytime.

run jenny run

Everytime i see it then leave the cinema a real human bean starts playing in my head and then i play it on my phone and light a cigarette after.

they bring it up a lot in the promotional interviews and shit on youtube. lots of sets, dennis no like green screen.

Sources say that blu ray will come December of this year

no meme i could see this movie 10 times at my theater before i spend 80 dollars

>nope. sex scene was best scene.
I'm so glad it cut away when it did, otherwise it could have come off as cheap and tawdry

Also spellcheck for thawdry gives Hathaway as a possible match, really gets the noggin a joggin'

i keep listening to these two over and over recently

>I AM THE BEST!
what did she mean by this

Someone answer me.

What happened to Wallace or whatshisname blindfuck? Why is Deckard so weak and old? Is there gonna be another sequel?

Do I have to go watch it again?

She meant that she was best girl

Two times

It somehow felt like i watched it more often though, its just a very memorable movie and i remembered every scene and dialogue.

i really like that it cuts away to the giant ad of joi
not this one but a similar one

I'm listening to the soundtrack and I can see the exact images playing out in my mind. I've only seen it twice.

hes ok hes a regular human bean or an aging replicant bean no which is a good sign

yes you stupid fuck

Once at an IMAX theater. Please Help:

- What was the motivation of Jared Leto?
- What was the motivation of Ryan?
- What was the motivation of the Rebels?

Didn't they all want the same thing? To allow replicants to have babies?

Sea Wall is definitely my favorite, truly a track fitting for one of the best climaxes I've ever seen in a film

>What happened to Wallace
he's mourning the loss of his waifu

actually ive no idea

Saw it for the first time in IMAX being tipsy and looking through the blurry lenses, with a dude I drink with sometimes who’s a total simpleton and fell asleep several times, thinking “maybe it’s shit like the trailer predicted, if it’s good gonna watch it several times more anyway, why bother”
