But you know what really gets my goat? What really grinds my gears? Jeph is a hoarder.
Think about it: everyone that leaves either just slowly fades or walks off with a Frosty-esque "I'll be back again someday!" promise. The only ones that for sure left were yelling bird, chick and other animals. Jeph's idea of plot is introducing a new character, and people reacting to them. Interesting plots that could come from trying to grow up are either discussed and ignored, ignored completely, or resolved in a way that doesn't change anything. When Jeph's car runs out of gas, he goes and buys a new one. He has so many tattoos because he gets used to looking at the ones he has. Ditto with piercings. Jeph gained weight because he thought more=better, reflected in the cast of his comic.
I'll be honest; QC was never meant for GOAT. Jeph was always going to be a Bob-Ross-Student level of webcomics, but a large mediocrity just shows what you lack.
Remember early QC? How we got to see Marten's and Dora's relationship crack over a large period of time? And even then, it still felt a little forced. It was still better than this pig swine though.
