Now that we have that out of the way, what are the best movies for adults? I'm not talking family friendly and not porn either. I'm talking about movies made with adults in mind, not adults with their kids in tow or kids movies with adult jokes to keep adults from falling asleep. Obviously, capeshit and Star Shit doesn't count. Remember, most horror movies are really just for underage teens.

They begin in childhood without sophistication or much taste, and for example, like "Gamera'' more than "Air Force One" because flying turtles are obviously more entertaining than United States presidents. Then they grow older and develop "taste,'' and prefer "Air Force One," which is better made and has big stars and a more plausible plot. (Isn't it more believable, after all, that a president could single-handedly wipe out a planeload of terrorists than that a giant turtle could spit gobs of flame?) Great film, just make sure you get the director's cut. The theatrical is known as one of the worst studio hack jobs of all time. The extended directors cut is also very good, but unfortunately the extra footage comes from old sources so it looks like shit compared to the rest of the movie.
