Season 2, is your body read for more STD?

STD is my third favourite Star Trek after DS9 and VOY so far.

When will they reveal that Mike is a shemale, and still has his big black cock?

Real thread is here: Maybe don't make your thread 30 posts before bump limit, weirdo

Any Michael rule 34 yet?

I really fucking miss her, guys.

Why are so many old Trek writers, directors, and actors clamoring to get onto The Orville?

Both Garrett Wang and Gates McFadden asked to appear on the show. Johnathan Frakes also directed an episode.

>in the space of 20 seconds:
>i'm going to give this space caterpillar something to knock it out even though we haven't tested it
>oh no its out of its cage and going wild, i'm going to shoot it with a phaser that we said doesn't work
>oh no it killed me
>"don't let her death be in vain"

godawful

If this is an anthology:
Season 1: Their in mirror universe

Season 2: They become the terran empire?

Season 3: They become Section 31 and escape the mirror universe?

>Still not putting Discovery in the subject line
for what pvrpose

DS9 is the only one who can compete with Star Trek Discovery.

>"Captain, shouldn't we wait to see if our attack successfully destroyed the enemy Birds of Prey before warping out?"

>"Energize."

It took GoT 7 years to have 7 millions viewers.

It took Star Trek Discovery DIS 2 hours to have 9 millions viewers.

Writing 'Discovery' only reinforces the 'DIS' acronym. STD is simple, punchy and memorable.

Name a worse show than STD: Diversity

>you can't muthafukka

>Season 2 of course

You know Star Trek Discovery is a success when you have fan arts of this quality

Star Tranny: Diversity feels like a low budget mix of a Jar Jar Abrams movie and a buzzfeed article right after Trumps inauguration.
It's FUCKING COOL.

>mirror universe fags
Only Orville fags are worse.

>multicultural cast but it somehow feels organic
>smaller budget but it somehow looks 10x better than STD
>no hamfisted SJW messages
>relatable characters
>actual world building
>main actresses all have big tits
>main actors are all swole
Why is The Expanse so much better than shitville and STD bros?

Star Trek Fandom trifecta of shit:
>Mirror universe
>Section 31
>Starfleet Marines

Tom Paris' actor (Robert Duncan McNeill) also directed the second episode of Orville.
Brannon Braga, director of the 3rd episode was Executive Producer on TNG, VOY and ENT.
James L. Conway who directed episode 4 worked on all post-TOS/TAS series.
Frakes directed 5th.
The writer for episode 6 previously wrote for Enterprise.

>5/6 Episodes had Star Trek veterans behind the wheel
And yet, some people still pretend like the Orville is something completely detached from Trek.

>>no hamfisted SJW messages
I really like the show but the whole thing is about working class and racial minorities uprising. Belters even speak negro.

An actress who hasn't acted in 20 years begging to be on a TV show? You act like that's something to be proud of.

Everyone knows all the washed up Trek actors will do anything for a quick buck.

>An actress who hasn't acted in 20 years begging to be on a TV show?
>An actress
I literally haven't mentioned a single woman.

Do you ever consider that maybe sometimes you're arguing against statements you wish your opponents made, instead of statements they actually made?

Yeah, there's plenty of bestiality porn out there.

who is this semen demon?

>he doesn't even know about Frakes transitioning
Typical faux-Trek Orvile faggot.

Cadet Tilly gets hogtied next episode according to the leaks.

Not really. And it doesn't really portray belters as being honorable or working class. You are an STD fan so I can forgive you not paying attention to the plot of a show.

...

...

>I have a 74 parents
>gay Indian in charge of the UN
>uprising of exploited people speaking a Kreol dialect
The show is clearly about issues of race, gender and class. The world is grimdark and a lot better built than in STD but it's clearly "progressive". I agree on the "not hamfisted" tho.

Admiral Cornwell is featured in the first RIDGED video to be shown next episode.

Yeah. Sad is pop corn tv, cheese dust.
Still, Lorca is based so I'll keep watching

the lack of hamfisted SJWness was my entire point you idiot. I never said it was completely devoid of "progressiveness"

Writing Discovery makes it easier to find.

The very appearance of the black woman on the left is a SJW message. I mean just look.

What exactly sets STD apart from other shows world building wise?

>The equivalent of the logic extremists, who were the majority at the time, bombed the Earth embassy on Vulcan
The Syrrannites did nothing wrong. It was (I'm not kidding) an inside job, organised by the Vulcan High Command and the Romulans.

she has a fat ass tho user and gets her tits out on command

Because The Orville is a fun place to be.
Also Garett Wang has worked with MacFarlane in the past. He voiced a character on American Dad.

who was running incorrectly here?

the one jumping up and down like a jackhammer?

the nigger.

This whole thing feels like a crossover fanfic of the illusive man running his very own, very dark, very secret section 31 starship.

...

Both

>a serious sci-fi drama
>a campy sci-fi
pick one

I have to admit, The way Michael runs was very strange. But she is beautiful.

Who thinks Orville is detached from Star Trek? The fact that The Orville is more of a spiritual successor to ST than STD should worry CBS producers.

>historic

how much do you get paid?

I bet that hair stinks like ass crack.

Helps them nothing when they have morons for writers.

Yeah, she moves as she has a pole up her ass all the time.

>A star among the stars

/zoo/

So uh, I just paused this at exactly the wrong moment and the room mate turned into a possessed doll.

Episode 6 of Star Trek Discovery (DIS) was very good.

>Episode 6 of Star Trek Discovery (STD) was very good.
Disagree.

>logic extremists
>they take logic to the logical conclusion
>want to spread the belief that logic > emotions
>the logical way of spreading this belief is to give emotional speeches before suicide bombing your opposition

the fucking state of this show

Also why bomb him and not just sedate or outright shoot him? Keep the ship and your life. He was able to have some sort of organic bomb bullshit yet can fire a gun while the target's back is turned.

Why would I want STD?

She's also way better looking than STD's token negress. Better actress too.

For the symbol, ready to die for your cause

>Dying for your cause to show it to a bunch of people fueled by logic (just not enough) how righteous your cause is
>Not completing your mission and living, so that you can do more for your cause

>This is a "Logic Extremist"

What symbol? Who's gonna notice it was a bomb with a monologue? It wasn't aired across the verse. To borrow Hillary's phrase what difference does it make? Shooting him accomplished the same thing.

One death can do more for your cause.

That's the way of thinking of terrorists and martyrs since for ever.

Very emotional thinking.

>logic based race and culture
>extreme logic faction
Sounds like you're making excuses

>fan

>demand impression

Someone mentioned it on twitter/facebook

“When dealing with people, remember you are not dealing with creatures of logic, but with creatures bristling with prejudice and motivated by pride and vanity.”

Vulcans are not exceptions. T'Pol, Spock, Tuvok, the beautiful female Vulcan in DS9, there is not a single Vulcan purely logic in Star Trek

It's too beautiful to be official art

It's a way to see the impact of a show.

You guys are as cancerous as the maisiefags.

I don't get why Michael is such a hardcore wannabe Vulcan considering she was adopted by a couple with a human in it. You'd think she should at least somewhat understand what it means to "be" human, she has had a human around to tell her the majority of her childhood

they should call it STD-Simplex 2

>Quote from the real world, talking about humans
>Specifically states that it's not about creatures of logic
>Try and apply this quote to Vulcans, literal creatures of logic

>>smaller budget but it somehow looks 10x better than STD

looks far worse when any CG present in the expanse, green screen at the start of season 2 was terrible

That's the point. Vulcans can scream on all the roofs that they are all logical, the facts contradict this affirmation.

They really don't.
Only times Vulcans ever really stray from logic, is on cases where it's very close to home.
Yes, they're not automatons, but when even humans in the real world look at acts of terrorism from a detached point of view, calling it acts of desperation or stupidity at best, then don't you fucking turn around and pretend like Vulcans of all people would be swayed by these tactics.

>logic extremists
>logic
>extremists
who writes this garbage jesus fucking christ

The only redeemable thing about this cluster-fuck of a show is the autistic ginger potato and the weird fact I want to breed her for some reason.

>logic extremist
>logical solution is to inject a compound that will cause me to explode in 40 seconds
>logical solution is not simply shooting him

>Vulcan suicide bombers who hate starfleet

kek what trash

Agreed

Its not old-trek, but Micheal dealing with space-dad issues and cadet Tilly trying to improve herself felt... right.

I don't see why they set the whole thing against the backdrop of a war though

From their point of view (terrorists), this act made sense. This is also the case in real life, for them it was the only reasonable answer.

To understand someone, you have to put yourself in his shoes(?).

Yes, it was a very positive episode (except of course the Lorca-Admiral situation).

>who hate Starfleet
It wasn't even that, which is what's so funny, there are more Vulcans fraternising with humans in Starfleet and Federation offices than anything Sarek's up to at any given time, he was a weird target

>From the point of view of people who see it illogical to continue cooperation with Starfleet, and who value logic above all else, the logical way to show their fellow logical but misguided people that this is so, means that they should kill themselves in the performance of tasks that in no way require their death

Please tell me how you see things from their point of view.
Explain as a Vulcan would, why it is the most reasonable course of action.

Considering you also think Lorca being in the middle of fucking nowhere going at impulse to be abducted by Klingons, when his has no reason not to pick him up directly from Starfleet Command makes sense; you might have trouble with constructing any reasoning even close to logical, but I think I speak for more than myself when I say I'd be interested in seeing you try.

>stupid whore uses sex to get close to Lorca and stab him in the back
>he punishes her right away
based

>when his has no reason not to
when his spontaneously teleporting ship has no reason not to*

...

Captain Durca a based

Agreed. DIS gets better with each episode

>acting all triggered over spaceship shows
>when the two of you are actually agreeing
You made like 8 points in your initial post bud. You really need to calm down.

Orville sucks dick

Wrong thread my friend. Go to for your (You)s.
