Can it be considered accurate that Braceface pulled off the "four finger" look the worst?
They look like goblin hands and it's disgusting

ITS
I honestly never noticed, my brain just subconsciously added the 5th one in all the time.
>four fingers
>five toes
JESUS CHRIST
This is a necessary thread
I don't even understand the point in not giving them five fingers wtf is it?
>the foot is a triangle with three lines
So why do they do it anyway
Is it an actual stylistic choice or just lazy/incompetent animators
I actually met a kid once who was born with only 4 fingers on each hand, and it was especially weird because it looked exactly like it does in the cartoons, it was uncanny as fuck
What digit was he missing?
Easier to draw and animate.
He was missing 1
Which finger?
Digit means finger, user.
Technically you only have eight fingers, and two thumbs. Ten digits in total.
Though that was an unnecessary specification on that other guy's end, considering your friend probably wasn't missing his thumbs.
i was usually paying more attention to the subtly off way it drew heads, but... yeahhh that's weird. you dont generally want fingernails with four fingers. if you have the time to draw nails, you have the time to draw the other finger
an irrational question. fingers don't have identities other than their relative location
Well that's hardly true at all
Their relative sizes alone make them easily identifiable
What does Loss have to do with fingers?
>he doesn't know that's what the hands of actual Canadians look like
Do they also have horizontally split heads and a fear of the dark?
TOPKEK
I also thought this was loss at first.
If you reach hard enough, anything is loss
