He is, kind of. But Lost wasn't his fault. That shit was all Lindelof, that fucking fuck.
JJ is hacky because despite being a very skilled director, he just doesn't give a fuck about anything. His blockbuster films are packed to the brim with cheap effects, manipulative and exaggerated emotions and pure fan service just to squeeze every single cent from your wallet.
JJ could have made great things. He just loves being filthy rich too much to give a shit.
