Write the final episode

Write the final episode.

homr get ipad

Bart is worried about not making it to the fourth grade because he's doing so bad in school, so he tries really hard and just barely passes and graduates.

All I'm gonna say is it ends in a dance number. Possibly twerking.

homer buys a kite

It ends with a cliffhanger

Behind the Laughter should have been the last episode desu.

It's a normal day, where nothing crazy happens. There is no plot, and we just watch the daily life of the Simpsons on an average day.

It was all a dream...

the dog's death
just for full circle

The final episode is just the first episode, only with new animation.

>Starts off normally with a couch gag
>But when they all run in, another set of simpsons are already sitting there.
>Looks like it's going to be a gag, but then the start actually talking, and the episode is starting.
>Just as the confusion builds, another Simpsons family comes in.
>And another and another and another, all the same, with one exception.
>Every time a new one comes in, they're a year older.
>It keeps going back further and further, and each one starts talking about their events.
>Every set only remembers events from one season a piece, and the older ones don't know what the hell most of the technology they find actually is.
>Further and further back, until the very start.
>It turns out, every single year, the world resets the town and family, keeping the progression of time outside but never letting them grow or age.
>Those from past seasons lived lives that continued on from the start of each season to now.
>They're all different, and remember things differently, and they find a lot of contradictions in each other, indicating that the world is breaking down.
>Finally, it seems to have broken, and each one is worried their 'season' will be erased.
>A massive battle begins between all the seasons in a war bigger than anything ever seen on the show, each with references and hidden gags galore, all so that they can find out who is the 'real' Simpsons, and find out the mysterious powers that keep them in this state.

Tracy Ullman ends the world.

Alternatively, she pulls a Pucci and The Simpsons gets SBR'd.

>mfw she's still alive

Homer ties up and takes a shit on every other character in the series

I'd be into this. Just a nice slice of life episode where we get one last chance to see all the residents of Springfield. Then the Simpsons family gathers on the couch to watch TV. Credit roll.

Homer works at the nuclear plant.
Bart gets detention at school.
Lisa has band practice after school.
Marge and Maggie go shopping.
They all come home at the end of the day and sit on the couch.

Switch Skinner and Barney and this would be perfect.

Homer posts his idea on Sup Forums and waits for 30 minutes. No one replies and he is sad.

This. A comfy ending with some good gags would be perfect

ded bort

The opening shows a deserted and decrepit looking Springfield, with no music playing in the background; just an eerie wind and leaves flying around. Moe's tavern is boarded up and partly burnt on the outside. The Kwik-e-Mart's windows were smashed and everything inside--even the shelves and light fixtures--are gone. The statue of Jebediah Springfield is missing its head and has FALSE GOD spraypainted on it. As we go past some other locations you can hear faint echoes that sound like pained wailing, realistic crying. At a deserted and destroyed Springfield Elementary you can hear faint, painful crying from someone with a Scottish accent.

What you also notice is that none of the locations have any lights on.... except for one. The Android's Dungeon and Baseball Card Shop. The light's faint, it's just from candles. The window is partially boarded up and inside, there's stacks of boxes and collectibles scattered around. We see Comic Book Guy is sitting there, looking anxious as fuck, looking around to see if something's behind him. He looks in worse shape than he usually does. Then he turns toward the viewer and says...

"You know how Fox has a weird way of counting Simpsons episodes? They refuse to count a couple of them, making the amount of episodes inconsistent..."

Homer makes a Trump joke and it becomes a Lisa episode about her making a petition to get Bernie into office, that's how we kill it, we do the worst episode we can.

This

>Karl comes back
>Convinces Homer that his life is perfect
>Leaves
>The end

Everyone gets a year older/it's the new year.
Bart moves to 5th grade, Lisa moves to 3rd. Maggie starts talking, etc.

22 minutes of just this scene in the op. Occasionally Homer scratches his crotch or belches.

At 22 minutes it goes black with the caption, okay, it's finally over with"...change the channel now"

Deadpool kills everyone?

I haven't followed the Simpsons in years. Does Bart have a new teacher or do they not make any scenes in Bart's classroom anymore?

He has a new one but she's voiced by that Sophia delgara chick from modern family and Skinner and Bart fall head over heels for her character and both want to fuck her. She is practically a mary-sue.

The dog dies and then their grandpa dies too. Homer and Marge struggle to get Bart to accept the natural order of death and dying whIle Lisa upholds a stern facade of toughness until she breaks down and Bart consoles her by telling her everything's gotta end sometime. Then he looks in the camera and says "Right, folks?" And it cuts to credits.

Honestly has it gone past the point of the quality of the finale from mattering? It's not like it would be written by the original writers. What does it really matter?

Something, Something, Homer dies. The End

Given how much is at stake I would write the episodes as their normal day. No jokes, no modern references, just a boring simple day as an average event less day would be for them.

yes, we can't do anything else as it would quickly be dated or not good enough.

Didn't Matt say the last episode would end with Marge and Homer going to the Christmas play from Simpsoms Roasting an Open Fire?

i like it... is in the tone of the most emotional simpson episodes

A remake of the first episode. Only with more meta jokes.

ded bort but they do the wrong creepypasta from the wrong show

The opening theme song lengthened to episode length. They all come together, sit down, and turn on the TV. As the TV snaps on, the scene changes after after this kind of thing comes on the screen. The credits roll as Homer and Marge put the kids to bed, starting up with "Well, goodnight son."
"Um, dad?"
"Yeah?"
"What is the mind? Is it just a system of impulses, or is it something tangible?"

Continue until the short and the episode are over.

Shatter the fourth wall.

The Simpsons discover they are characters in a TV show. Homer visits Fox and meets as many members of the crew as they can fit. They discover that their show has lasted for over 30 years and the impact it had on the world. Just pack it full of lampshade hangings and pointing out stuff, good and bad. Be as meta as possible.

And end with them going to see Bart at the Christmas pageant.

Homer finally lands his ski after he launched over the shark. The crowd goes wild. Homer goes Eeeeyyyyyy and screen fades to black.
