it wouldnt be so bad if it wasn't a fucking ridiculous and terrible idea that they are literally only doing because CN did it, not because it's actually any good or gets viewers
television has always worked on the foundation of people watching, then talking to others about what they watched, one episode at a time. water cooler talk, all that. if someone missed it, they're encouraged to check out the next one. airing everything in a 'bomb' gets a few people very hyped and the majority of people suddenly 5 episodes behind in one week... which discourages them from getting into the show even more

Popularity, I doubt it. It's on a secondary channel and not having a consistent schedule won't do it any favors. Having a lot of episodes banked and consistently airing does wonders for a show.
