So last month on the letters column Hama explained that he uses action figures a lot to plan his comics, putting them in groups depending on where they are and moving them around and such. He said something like "If a character doesn't show up, it's most likely because I don't have the figure." Between that and her design in this arc, I'm willing to bet someone must've sent him the Collector's Club Bombstrike figure a while back.
Someone ought to send him a Shockwave/Shockblast figure...
