I just want to say, it seems like time is passing in the show. With the "end of the year party" and the 6th month freindiversary in Gift of the Card, it seems like its very possible that time is progressing forward at a decent rate.
I'd have to say, how insanely buttmad would you guys be if they did a timeskip? Like, this season ends with Star leaving, and then Marco is somehow thrust back into her life a year or two later.

I'm not sure how I'd feel to be honest. I feel like it could function well enough if it was sufficiently built up. However I appreciate the current setup of the show, in that we're experiencing this period of Star's life with her. I feel like that's one of the big elements of the show that Daron wants to get across, hence her desire to avoid spending too much time at Echo Creek Academy.
