>What is his most underrated work?
Action Comics, New Adventures of Hitler, Zenith

>Is the Hypercrisis real?
Eh, idk.

Only a newfag would think TDK is good.

newfags and oldfags who have learned to ignore contrarian opinions. Maybe we need a new term. Middlefags?

Does Morrison believe in Kek?

Only Newfags hate Frank Miller's art.

The first four questions are purely matters of perception, and all answers are equally valid somewhere in hypertime....

Hi art is great but it looked it's best in Ronin. TDK is still garbage though.

>looked best
>looked
Proving yourself to be a newfag more and more, newfag. Go read Lee, Fabok or Cho.

>trying this hard
kys you pathetic sheep

Has Morrison ever done something street level and was it any good?

What exactly is Morrison up to now other than being EiC for Heavy Metal?

>What is his best work?

I think probably this universe.

Don't think so. Maybe Batman Gothic but it had some supernatural elements. It was good.

This universe sucks.

The New Adventures of Hitler

Of course

what's Mr Worldwide doing here

The bat epic was mostly street level, excluding final crisis and the return of bruce wayne. Also manhattan guardian in seven soldiers.

Morrison would probably be Mr Omniversewide

What do you think of the documentary Grant Morrison: Talking with Gods, and his non-fiction books?

For those interested, you should check out supergods, particularly the part about parallel earths. It explains the way fictional universes work and it's a great complementary read for the hypercrisis.

I like him, but I haven't read enough of his work. I hope he lives forever.

>What is his best work?
Single best story is "Flash of Two Worlds" in Secret Origins 50. If you mean overall work/Storyline it's probably his JLA run or 52.
>What is his worst work?
Seaguy
>What is his most overrated work?
The Invisibles

Joe the Barbarian

Arkham Asylum

Action Comics

Flex Mentallo

New X-Men

Final Crisis

Marvel Boy

>>Is the Hypercrisis real?

Yes. The Hypercrisis has transcended DC's will. It is real whether they want it to be or not.

vol 2 of Eath One Wonder Woman and Multiverstiy 2.

>What is his best work?
As a single issue, it's Pax Americana. He does so much in one floppy that it makes me hard. As a whole story, All-Star Superman.

>What is his worst work?
The Filth. It just didn't catch me.

>What is his most overrated work?
Probably also the filth

>What is his most underrated work?
Nameless

>Is the Hypercrisis real?
It's real, son. The thing is, Morrison never intended to be the person controlling the whole thing. He created it so it would inspire us to create. It worked.

The only street level comic of his that was widely liked was Manhattan Guardian. His Batman was divisive.

What is hypercrisis?

52?

Superheroes are real and can save us.

5225

What did Grant do for his 52nd birthday?

New X-Men
Batman RIP
All-Star Superman
New X-Men
No

2012. The End of The World.

The numerical coincidence avoided the end of the world

Pleb here
>best
Pax Americana
>worst
I liked Happy so I wouldn't say that
>overrated
Seaguy
>underrated
Multiversity

It is real and it will gib me my gf

The Old World Died!!!-- We are NOW In The NEW WORLD!!!

>What is his most overrated work?
Batman and Robin

>What is his best work?
The Invisibles, everything afterr that has just been a rehash of it.
>What is his worst work?
Happy
>What is his most overrated work?
Bat Epic/Final Crisis
>What is his most underrated work?
Seven Soldiers
>Is the Hypercrisis real?
Of course

>What is his best work?
1. Doom Patrol
2. Bat Epic
3. Seaguy

>What is his worst work?
The Filth

>What is his most overrated work?
The Invisibles

>What is his most underrated work?
Seven Soldiers

>Is the Hypercrisis real?
Just the fact that this is a question means the answer is yes

Is Seaguy dead for good? It's something I've been wanting to read the end of for years but it doesn't really look like it's ever going to come out and Morrison is too busy wanking over Hindu mythology to try and get it published. Although with Vertigo going belly up I'm not sure who he'd have to talk with.

...

I'm super depressed and suicidal often. Books like Flex Mentallo and (ironically) The Filth usually help to bring my head out of my own ass. It's lame to say, but I probably wouldn't be alive if not for Morrison's optimistic realism.

Happy birthday, Grant.

I wish that someone with high level autism could make a good story about this.

>It's lame to say

A couple of days ago cbr published an article about a guy who overcame his depression by reading all star superman. Plus there's that famous tumblr post. I wouldn't be surprised if the amount of people who have risen from their problems with Morrison's help far surpass the dozen.

>implying a bunch of high-schoolers in japan weren't the ones to avoid the apocalypse

>Best work
All-Star Superman. It's the greatest Superman story ever told in my opinion. It might not be as deep or complex as some of his other stuff, but it deserves kudos for that
>Most overrated
Arkham Asylum
>Most underrated
Final Crisis
>Worst work
Seaguy By a country fucking mile.

What gives? Are we memeing that it's somehow anything less than utter shite?

>Is the hypercrisis real?
Put on your fiction suit and find out.

>The Dark Knight Returns is garbage, my friend.
only in grant central

"There are dozens of us! Dozens!"

exactly the kind of shit I'd expect from a junkie

The one thing I think I appreciate most of Morrison is how well he summed up Superman in one page (which Superman isn't even on)

Also, Batman & Robin was the most fun a Batman comic has been in decades.

Action Comics #1 did the same thing. Difference is how poetic Morrison's version was, which I liked very much.

shoot I forgot the picture

people actually liked Seven Soldiers? I thought it was a neat concept, but the execution is nigh-unreadable levels of convoluted, edgy, and confusing.

Pretty sure you're just dumb. The modular structure makes it far less complex than Final Crisis or Superman Beyond.

I can't even guess what you're referring to when you call it edgy.

Is there any significance to the word Qwewq, or is it just a gibberish word he made up specifically for this story?

Hey, think for his 57th birthday we can finally get some goddamn Seaguy Eternal?

Nebula Man from Seven Soldiers

I should really re-read that. Thanks.

>Seven Soldiers is a prelude to Final Crisis and All-Star Superman which is simultaneously a sequel and a prequel to DC One Million and vice versa

that's normal, Grant can't use the medium very well

Grant is probably in the top 5 of all time in terms of effectively using the medium.

Look at Pax Americana or Action Comics.

That's the thing about the hypercrisis, it's all connected

Its overrated as all hell, plebs act like its in the top 5 best ever, but it is by no means a bad book, the sequels? well..... thats I guess highly debateable, imo they suck.

still, when i read TDKR when i was 18 it blew away my tiny little teenage mind.

no idea about those but a good artist will get over any kind of writer

>top 5 of all time
noice

It isn't Morrison's work but Miller's (The Dark Knight Returns and Daredevil Born Again) which have done the same for me.

I feel you f a m.

Invisibles was great when it wasn't just DUDE HALLUCINOGENS LMAO.

>looked it's best in Wolverine
FTFY

What's wrong with New X-Men?

Fuck, he's almost 60

It went off the rails a bit towards the end.

Plus people don't like Magneto being a baddie.

Batman Saga
Mr Miracle
Pax Americana
Lol i dunno

>Multiverstiy 2.
Plz tell me this is real

I never read much Morrison outside of Arkham Asylum, Animal Man and a few other bits but I just literally finished Book One of Doom Patrol and seriously enjoyed it.

It's a shame the art is for the most part pretty awful and dated outside of some brilliantly surreal designs

It is but who knows when the fuck we'll get it.

Multiversity Too, no idea when it's coming, but I think it's supposed to be more than just Morrison writing, though he's kicking it off with a Flash story that he tweaked from his Flash Earth One proposal.
